Personality:
Nami is characterised as shy, thoughtful, serene, kind, and very polite, as noted from her always addressing people with proper honourifics. She is also very gentle, a trait that others used to consider a flaw, they also loathed the fact, that she had always disliked competing and fighting. She is shown to be incredibly empathetic, and, because of her upbringing, and because of walking alone for so long.
Nami is very timid and lacking self-confidence. However, she has shown to be a very hard worker, as she continuously strived to change herself for the better, though initially this lack of self-confidence would hinder her on even missions. As the days progressed, Nami became more open about her opinion and confident overall, as she demonstrated a willingness on occasion to take decisive action than ever before. The strongest amount of Nami's new found confidence and bravery was displayed after her first job, where her friend Hinata had died, although shedding tears for her friend's death, she was able to pull herself together and even prevent her friend from resting in vain.
Nami's growing self-confidence mainly comes from her long-standing admiration for her pet Shinata, as she was inspired by his enthusiasm and his unyielding determination to never give up no matter what the odds. He often pushed her to do better too, telling her that she is not weak, but weak-minded.
Nami is also a sweet and friendly girl who cares deeply for her comrades as well as her country Fiore. She has been described as a kind girl and often played the role of peacemaker during the years she spent with her Mother, Father, and sister Viola [memory loss, doesn't know they ever existed]. Nami is also an intellectual individual, witnessed by her ability to learn as well as use high-level magic at such a young age. She proved to be perceptive under stress. Nami was a devoted person as seen in her unwillingness to abandon her friends even if her life was in lethal danger. She has a very strong will, as even though under what seemed to be the harshest of pain, she would not break.
Nami is also very serious when it comes to battle. Although she is clumsy, and trips over everything half the time, she can prove to be useful by pointing out things others may or may not notice themselves. Her battling style, is similar to her sister, although she hasn't met her yet. Nami has the ability with coming up with ideas on the spot, something that others also wouldn't of been able to come up with. And despite her lacking in confidence, if her team-mates or her friends need her, she will do her best to look out for them, and shield them from danger. Lastly, Nami has a very strong will in battle, never giving up even if her opponent has knocked her down. As shown in many jobs, despite her being relatively weak in the beginning, she was often thrown down a few times, yet, stood to her feet despite being greatly wounded.

Ramen & Sweets~
Nami has always had a sweet tooth for many treats, mostly being picky over both donuts and cookies, something also similar to her sister. Nami also eats ramen, mostly everyday after hard work or in the morning. Shinata always urges her to eat more healthy, but, somehow she ends up ignoring him in the end.
Shinata~
He is her closest friend, and the only one so far that knows so much about her. The two have an inseparable bond, which has proven not to be broken on many jobs. Nami often worries when her friend goes off on her own, thinking of the possible dangers that could happen to a cat her size.
Small Animals~
Nami has a connection with all animals, but, for some reason, small animals in her eyes have always been so cute. At times, Nami will often pick up somebody's exceed or pet, rubbing them up against her cheek and cheering "kawaii!". Although this will prove annoying to most animals, she has a deep care for them, and will often be seen either spoiling them rotten.
Dislikes:
Fresh Vegetables~
They taste sour in her mouth, and she absolutely loathes them. Nami knows eating healthy is the key to staying strong, but, she just can't force herself to eat them. So, sneaking fresh vegetables into her meal will not end in such a good way.
Ghosts~
Sure, ghosts that she knows that show signs of kindness or love don't send her off on the edge, but, others, oh boy do they ever. Even the sight of a ghost will immediately cause her to start crying comically, or just run away without a delay. She's never been one to handle demon, ghost or anything do to with spirits so well.
Birds~
They've always hated her, and she's always hated them. In fact, often when she attempted to help a wounded bird, or even communicate with one, they would with-out a delay brawl their claws into her face and fly off.
Motivations:
Protecting Her Guild~
Nami used to have a strong motivation to become S-Rank, not that she doesn't still want too, but she's found over time that protecting her friends/guild is what is more important. Often, she thinks to herself that if she had to be weak to protect the ones she loved, she would throw away her dream of becoming S-Rank just for that purpose.
Remember~
Nami had woken up in the middle of nowhere, with absolutely no memories or no realization of who she truly was. It's only natural she'd want to figure out who she is.
Not Failing & Not Giving Up~
When it comes to battle, Nami will push herself hard. She believes failing herself will make her look weak, and useless, causing others to lose their admiration or respect for her. Although Nami may fail on many occasions, she will keep trying again and again until she reaches what she's reaching for.

Zeref~
Nami has heard many stories of the man, and has often had nightmares of talking with him face to face. Is very presence frightens her or brings her to tears, yet, she can't understand why.
Isolation~
She had woken up in the middle of nowhere, practically alone for three years of her life. Isolation scares her because she wants somebody to talk too, somebody that can understand what it's like to be alone such as she once was.
Death~
Everybody fears the end, especially Nami. Even after living for about 400 years, she thinks that her life hasn't even started. And of course, it's only natural for her to feel that way. But, besides her death, she fears the death of others as well.
