Date Night (Private: Potato and Axilmeus Steel)

Cyrus sighed as he arrived in the run down factory where his friend lived. Earlier that day head been hectic...

"Cyrus! Cyrus you'll be late for your date!"shouted Favonius. Freaking out as Cyrus nonchalantly got into his regular clothes, but was stopped by a westerly wind. "Oh no you don't," the next few seconds went by in a blur, but Cyrus was now in a fancy white suit, with a matching tie, and his hair was slicked down almost like a helmet with a part on the left.

"Favonius..." said Vulturnus, "He... looks... ridiculous. Can't we at least accompany the kid to see how he does on his first venture with a lady friend? I want to see how well it goes for him.

"Nope big brother, I'm afraid we're letting him have his alone time for this 'job.' Good luck number five," he said, holding back his brother, "Auster would be proud," he added. Cyrus grumbled as he tussled up his hair again and made his way to Quincy's place of residence.


He rapped on the door of the warehouse, hoping for an answer from his 'date'. He was still unfamiliar with what this whole thing was about, but was interested in the new experience. He had ordered reservations for a fancy dinner at a nice restaurant, like Favonius suggested. Little did Cyrus know what he was in for.

Quincy pranced about her old factory that she converted into her own little condo/loft. She could not decide on what to wear at all for the date she had with Cyrus. At first she put on a huge fluffy suit that didn't fit at all and made her look like a large marshmallow. Then she switched to a large amount of jewelry which weighed almost as much as she did. She finally decided to wear a moderate black and purple sleeveless dress with a nice pair of amethyst earrings. Her hair was tied into a pony tail behind her head making it look like she was several years older than she actually was.

A few moments after getting ready she opened the door to see a figure in white. Honestly Cyrus was too white for his own good, but Quincy liked it when he dressed all fancy. "Turn down the lights please. But seriously you look very nice in that suit." She said jokingly and then with a slight hint of flirty nature in it. She tried to limit her excitedness from Cyrus but she just couldn't keep a smile off of her face.

Turn down the lights? he questioned to himself. He didn't particularly understand what Quincy had said. Either way he motioned for her to begin walking with him to the location of their 'date.' The trip was pretty silent for most of the time until Cyrus turned to his friend. "You know what Lady Quincy, I haven't seen too much of you. Of course I've seen you around the guild, but the only time we've done anything together was at the beach. So what magic do you use anyways? How do you use it?" He asked. he was wondering due to the fact that, since they were guildmates, it wasn't unlikely that they might end up on a mission together. Knowing her magic would be useful.

Meanwhile he thought about what the Venti were doing. No doubt about it, they had gotten into a fight. At least no one could see them while they duked it out. After this thought it occurred to Cyrus that Quincy was part of a team. "Also, how's the state of Serpent Soul?"

Quincy blushed brightly as Cyrus called her 'Lady Quincy'. She thought it was cute that he was so respectful for people. "Just call me Quinn please. I use a type of thunder magic that allows me to move quick and hit hard." She moved her arms up like she was punching something. When he asked about her team Quincy just shrugged to brush off the question. How about you and your team?" She started to walk in a straight line with her arms wide out stretched open.

Cyrus just sighed, "My teams in a bit of a rough spot," he said. He didn't necessarily want to talk about what had recently happened, but since Quincy brought it up, it appeared he had no other option. "Lilyan is still around, and we've been talking about another job with Kihia, but I'm afraid the third member of our team has disappeared. His name is Yuuto Shinigami, a memory make mage, and he dissapeared shortly after the guildmaster incident. Have you heard anything about him recently?"

Quincy shrugged as she walked along. She had not heard a single thing about the guild master or other members who disappeared since the incident a few weeks ago. "So where is this place anyways? I am starving." She looked at Cyrus and began to blush. She was finally beginning to see how well he looked in a suit and she liked it a lot. 'Dear god this guy is so hooooot! What have I gotten myself into?'

"We should be coming up on it at any moment now. Ah yeah, here it is," he said. They had arrived at quite the building, gold fabrics, silver utensils and dishes, bronze decorations, this place had the works as far as appearance, and supposedly the food was great too. The only downside was the expense. For the food and the reservation, the grand total came to a whopping 20,000 jewels. Nothing he was going to tell Quincy. They sat down and began the first course of a simple salad, with many mixed, fresh vegetables and a light dressing.

As they entered the building Quincy stared in awe at the beautiful restaurant. This place was far more beautiful than what she had in mind for the date. When Cyrus gets something fancy he does not hold back. She was beginning to regret using him for a free meal and was really enjoying his company. He never really seamed like the guy who would go out of his way for a simple date. "So....Do anything special recently?" She said leaning over the table trying to resist the urge to spring up and start dancing.

He looked upwards diagonally and smiled, "Not really. Work's been slow. Actually most of my team mates have left from sight. I've recruited some people, but we've done nothing big as of yet," he looked down at his plate. He had finished his salad and awaited the waiters next venture to the table. He heard ruckus behind him, but didn't bother looking. Perhaps his ears were too used to the sound of the sea at night or he just was too focused on the date. Either way he continued to talk, "What about you, Lady Quincy, have you done anything interesting?"
