Saddest of farewells

It has been brought to us that Kichiro has passed away. As we were told he had hydrocephalus, or simply to much liquid around the brain. His shunt, the little tube used to drain the fluid from around his brain, broke and he passed. This is an absolutely heart breaking moment on the site.

Farewell kichi. You were an interesting fellow gone long before your time, and you shall be deeply missed.

May you rest in peace Yukine. We will remember you in life, instead of your death...

Shouldn't happen to a great guy and a great RPer. Don't really know what to say to the news really. Still in shock if I'm honest.

Rest in peace buddy. Gonna miss you and our conversations, threads and that one duel we had where I really got to know you.

Dear Kichiro,

Although we were at each other's ends and throats on a daily basis... the day you forgave me, I won't forget. You told me to not do this, and not do that. Little did I know, that you knew best.

It pains me to know your cause of leave. It pains me to lose yet another friend so recently. It seems Kaseki did send his wave after all... but this time... the wave one.

I am sorry, I should have thanked you more, and really learned to smile. I will always remember you.

You were the one that pulled me out of the CB constantly. I talked about Fetus, the pet I made all the time. And if I weren't laughing, I was crying. You were the one that pulled me out, (or rather kicked me out) of the CB to talk to me 1v1. You were the one that made me smile in my times of sorrow. You were there. So in honor of you, we all will smile. We celebrate the time we had. So thank you Kichi. Thank you for saving Kaseki from his inner Kodai. Thank you for giving me the gift of life.

I never did get to know him on site. Never had the chance. From what I heard he was a cool person. Either way though I hope he is in a better place and is at peace.

See ya later Yukine. I am not very good at goodbyes so a see you later will work. You were my first friend on the site and you showed me how to do everything. I can only thank you. You were an inclusive person and I hope that you are in a better place.

If I could say something..
I believe I knew Kichiro before he even joined this site. We were on a site called "Gallia" around March of this year. Back in that day, everything was subpar. Well, he and a couple other people decided to besiege the entire site. His character's name was Echo. He ran this Arc of Time magic, which overwhelmed most of the people on the site to their anger. I was honestly pissed then.

He, and a couple other people named Shikyo and Fletcher Ren decided to take over all the races' lands. I remember having a roleplay dinner with Shikyo on how I was going to get my land back(I was the leader of the Caesium race at the time.) A week or two later, Kichiro(I remember him best as Echo) left the site in a rage, saying that the people were too biased in their rp fights and such. Up to that point, I absolutely detested him, but I couldn't help but agree. I don't remember exactly, but I think I directed him to this site one day. Not to brag or anything.

I left Gallia hating/liking the man because of the detestable things that he did, like stealing all the race leaders' land. Now that he has passed, for some reason, I am able to look back on those days and smile upon them. Honestly, he wasn't a bad guy overall.

I'm not one who should be saying anything about this really, I'm too new to this site to have talked a lot to Kichiro a whole lot or at all if I remember correctly, but death is something that touches the people around you a lot. People like Sonya and Kaseki who knew him more, way more than I ever did are severely more affected by his passing than I, but death is never easy, if you know someone who knew  Kichiro but you didn't know him yourself, talk to them, they might need it. People who knew Kichiro has lost someone that they used to talk to either from time to time or almost every day, but now he's... gone.

Support your friends if they need it now, we never know what day is going to be our last. Might as well treat anyone as good as you can to those around you.

I sit here, and think, and think, and think.  Having been the first one to know, unsure who to tell, till now.  I am not religious, but I know you were, so here are some words.

This one, is to you.

There really are absolutely no words to express what I'm feeling right now... Words like heartbroken... anger... sad... just doesn't cut it... I can't believe that it was earlier this week that we were chatting about cats and Berkeley and... and... I-I should have realized something was wrong... I should have... But I didn't...

Anyways... I just want to say I'm happy I got to know you, Luca. I'm happy that we could leave our differences behind and become friends before you... you... departed... I'm happy to know that, from our chats, that you lived a good life. I'm happy that you got the opportunity to celebrate your accomplishments. Especially your semi acceptance to Berkeley...  Your dream school... I'm happy that you lived your life as you wanted to live it... Like I told you before, well... in other words, it's a bumpy road out there but once you put your mind to it, you'll find the path ahead becoming smoother and smoother... And you did...

Goodbye my friend... We'll miss you and never forget you...

'Tis not a single word that crosses my mind once I learned of this other than sorrow.

I didn't know Kichi very well or for very long - not like the others who have cherished him so dearly, and left their well wishes for him no matter what occurred in the past.

In the midst of my time here, I could see that Kichiro was a rather kind person. I didn't get to learn more about him or share a memory, but I did receive a chance that I'm more than glad to gave had - the chance to meet him here, and talk with him no matter how short a time it was.

Being accepted into the school he sought with a passion, spend whatever days he had left with a smile, and to create such meaningful bonds... He will always be remembered not only in the minds and hearts of those who knew him well, but for individuals such as myself who respected him for fighting onward - dreaming of a place where he so deeply wished to complete his goal.

With this, I salute you, Luca.
And I offer all of the best wherever you may be.

So, let time keep flowing, and for the hearts of those who knew him to heal... As they need ears who will listen, shoulders to lean on, and smiles to regain.

I have never met Kichiro, but I am sure he/she was an awesome person based on what everyone has already said. But even though I have never gotten to meet such an awesome person, it saddens me to see someone go in such a horrible way. I hope you are in a much better place Kichiro. :(

I dont really know what to say about this because well... I DONT want to believe it. Kichi was like family to me and he will be missed greatly...
