Opposites attract (Karina/Katherine, invite only)

It was a wonderful for Katherine, the sky was shining and the bird was tweeting. Katherine decided on having a day off for personal time. That and Kiba decided to leave the team to form his/her own. An exciting venture for him! Now there was an opening to the team and Karina would make a nice addition to the chaotic bunch of misfits. Katherine knocked on the door where Karina lived and waited. Surely by now the angel had gotten used to the demon's presence and could go about with her heart not racing. Instead when Karina opened the door, there was a contained blast of concentrated holy/demonic energies that hit and nearly knocked her flat on the butt. Katherine blinked a few times as she tried to regain composure from this sudden shock. The angel asked, "I am taking a day off Karina, will you come with me to Capital Crocus? I am sure we can find some fun have there.~" Secretly the angel hoped the girl did not notice the pause or the contained heavy breathing she just had.

Karina jumped a little when there was a knock at her front door, she rarely got any visitors for so far she hadn't made many friends or met a lot of people who would want to visit her. She placed the book she had been reading down on the small table by her armchair then stood up and made her way to the door. Even before she opened it she knew Katherine was there, her angelic energy seemed to seep through the door and into the house, swallowing up all of Karinas sanity. When she opened the door finally, Katherine asked her to go out to Capital Crocus with her. Karina gave a small laugh before accepting "I would love to go out with you! Just a minute, she said disapearing into the house".
Karina locked the door of the house behind her then slipped the key into her bag, "Lets gooo~" she sang, lacing her fingers into Katherine's- trying to suppress the shudder that ran down her spine when their hands touched. She began to skip as they walked down the street towards the center of town, swinging her arms slightly. "So, where are you taking me?"

Katherine took the demons hand, the sensation of her power was strong, intoxicating and addicting. She was finally beginning to develop some kind of immunity to the feeling though, except when it blasted like opening Karina's door. Her hand was small and if not for the smell and witnessing her magic, one would consider Karina a normal young girl. One would never know she was a half demon at first glance at her, but then the same could be said about Katherine.  She looked at the young girl and said, "Usually I go to get a nice cup of tea, get some cake before grabbing cooking ingredients for tonight's meal. Then I usually shop around for trinkets, clothing or just have some good old fashion fun." Katherine walked out of the guildhall door and finally received fresh air. There was a spark in her eyes in excitement, like thunderstorm lighting up her eyes. It was not unlike the fires that glowed in Karina's eyes when she was excited. Katherine looked at Karina and asked a question that always got Katherine, "I have been meaning to ask, of what material is your dress made out of? I have touched it and it feel so soft, light and smooth. I was wondering where you bought it.~"

Karina smiled as she heard Katherine's plan of action for their day out, it all sounded very exciting to the girl who rarely god out much. She could not contain her excitement as they walked out of the doors of the guild together, hand in hand, it was nice to know she had someone she could trust. She laughed to herself as Katherine questioned the material her clothing was made from and where she got it, "Actually I made it myself," she said, swishing the dark material around her body "Its made from shadows! Do you like it?" Karina made all of her own clothes for it was something she enjoyed doing, however since she used shadows she often had to wear several layers or people would be able to see through her clothes, which was not something she wanted!

Katherine heard the words that came out of Karina's mouth and immediately had a stream of blood come out of her nose and tripped over a rock. She was naked? She was wearing nothing but her magic? That sounded so much like... herself. Picking herself up from falling, she then dusted herself out and said, "Sorry about that. Well that is by far the most unique dress I have seen in a long time. So you can make anything out of your shadows? That is very interesting. My magic has no such practical uses such as that, just weather controlling magic." Katherine was trying to compose herself, but nose would not stop bleeding. This was bad, now she knew how Kyll felt like.

"W-well what would you like to do while we are at the city?"

Karina jumped as blood shot out of Katherine's nose, "Oh my gosh! Are you okay!?!? She grabbed hold of Katherine's arm to help steady her from her trip. "Yes I can make more or less anything out of shadows, everything I am wearing right now are shadows. They are really comfortable~" She smiled then pulled at the hem of her dress, a small shadow appeared in her hand which she lifted to Katherine's face "Here," she giggled, Katherine was really cute when she was flustered.
"I dont mind what we do~ As long as Im with you I will be enjoying myself!

Katherine put her hand up to her nose to stop the next gush of blood that came out. She was not expecting these answers and why was Katherine reacting this way? She was an angel that ran around butt naked most of the time! This was funny though, roles were finally reversed on her. Katherine grabbed the shadow and felt the same thing, light, soft and smooth. She could also sense the Holy power in it that flared Katherine's senses like crazy. Katherine got up and said, "Well we could go shopping for stuff, but apparently clothing can be skipped. Heehee. How about jewelry then? Could that be replicated by your shadows?" She blushed slightly at Karinas comment though, why did this demon cause her to fluster her so much?

"I have tried making jewelry before and it didn't really work, so yes that would be wonderful to go shopping for some!" Karina smiled at Katherine, today was going to be really exciting as she had never done anything like this before.
She grabbed Katherine's hand began to pull her in the direction of the nearest jewelry shop that she knew of. Karina was still getting used to Capital Crocus however she could roughly pin point the locations of various shops which she had noticed whilst walking around by herself.
As they walked Karina felt her heart bound against her chest, it confused her as to how she could still feel flustered like this after all the time her and Katherine had spent together. Her cheeks flamed red and she lost all composure, turning her head away do that Katherine couldn't witness her emotions.

Katherine was practically skipping as she was being pulled to the jewelry shop. She was surprised at what Karina could do, but apparently even she had limits with what she could do with her shadows. So she was going to have fun getting to know her! Eventually they got in and looked at the jewelry that adorned the place. So many choices behind the glass, but there was nothing that could be a new vesself for her angels grace. No way to store the human part of her soul in a protective casing. Katherine sighed in disappointment. Looking at Karina she asked, "Anything that strikes your fancy?" Katherine felt it was wrong to go into a shop without buying something to show her patronage. She was interested in knowing what Karina's tastes were though.

Karina must have looked like a child in a toy store as she skipped about the jewelry cases, pressing her face against the glass whenever something caught her eye. As a child she had never owned much for her family were rather poor and couldn't afford fancy trinkets like the ones before her now. Karina was drawn to the case containing a simple collection of necklaces, the one in the center of the case attracted Karina the most. It was a simple silver chain with a small ruby heart pendant dangling from it. "Of course there is but I couldnt possibly let you buy me it!" Karina walked over to the shops counter after replying to Katherine's question. She was going to find out how much the necklace cost and maybe buy it for herself if she could afford it. However just as Karina reached the counter she tripped over her own feet and fell towards the carpeted floor.

Katherine chuckled at the girls antics, but gave her a helping hand up from the floor. Katherine mortal body however was from a rich family, so these things were trinkets to her. Katherine just kept all her money in stock and bonds to gain interest so that she didn't have to deal with them. And it gathered over the years in limbo, so Katherine simply asked, "And which one are you not going to ask me to buy? I am quite curious to know.~" Katherine gave a nice, polite mile to the broke demon. It was not much of a bother to Katherine, for most times the angel was in poor families as well. She just got lucky with this body.

"Thank you," Karina said as Katherine lifted her up from the floor, blushing madly, "Oh and its okay I am going to buy it for myself, thank you very much though." Once she was on her feet she rang the bell at the counter to alert whoever was running the shop that day that she was in need of their service. "Hello there," A young man said as he came into view from the door behind the counter "How may I help you?"
"Um, how much is that necklace over there?" Karina asked, pointing to the jewelry case where she had found the necklace she liked. The shop attendant saw what she meant and walked over to the case to double check the price.
