Odin Warr, the Dark Knight
Primary Magic: The Dark Knight
Secondary Magic: N/A
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: The Dark Knight is a rare type of dark magic almost considered to be a Lost Magic due to how rare it is for someone to learn it. Dark Knight magic has essentially two different paths that can either be focused on individually, or blended in a way that maximises specific aspects of those two paths.
The first path is the Path of Blood. This path allows the user to boost their spells or their body by paying a portion of their own blood. This is the more aggressive of the two paths as the user would be able to hit considerably harder than normal, but would not last as long in combat and thus would have to deal with an opponent quickly.
The second path is the Path of Corruption, a path that involves corrupting the very soul of an opponent by first tagging it, then casting a myriad of spells to inflict damage on that target. This is the more passive of the two paths and is particularly terrifying in the long term.
Odin Warr the reborn knight utilises both of these paths to devastating effect, sometimes crossing both paths to create whole new soul destructive spells and making him more versatile than one would initially think in battle.
Strengths:
- As a magic of the dark element, the Dark Knight magic has a 50% resistance to other dark based magics.
- Dark Knight magic deals 50% extra damage to Holy based magic users.
- Odin is able to increase the strength of his spells simply by spilling a portion of his own blood.
Weaknesses:
- Holy magics deal 50% extra damage to the Dark Knight.
- Many of Odin's spells involve using a portion of his blood to deal more damage. This will result in his HP dropping very quickly.
- Some of Odin's spells require other spells or prerequisites before they can be used.
Abilities/Powers:
Blood for Blood - For every 30% HP that Odin loses, his Attack output is increased by 50%. This effect lasts for four posts and stacks, and is affected by the HP lost through his own spells.
Adversity - For every 25% HP that Odin loses his Defences are increased by 50%. This effect lasts for three posts and stacks, and is affected by the HP lost through his own spells.
Darkness Resistance - Due to utilising powerful dark magic Odin is granted a 50% resistance to other Dark-based magics.

- Signature Spell - Soul Corruption:
- Name: Soul Corruption
Rank: B
Type: Single-target Corruption
Description: When Odin strikes an opponent a small amount of black magic passes through their body and tags their soul, corrupting it and making it completely visible to him. Corrupted opponents suffer from 1% HP loss every 4 posts and their speed and offence is reduced by 5%. Soul Corruption effects are increased by 1% for each strike.
"Everyone has a dark side. Let me speak with yours a moment."
Strengths:
- Corrupted souls are dealt a minimum of 1% HP damage every four posts.
- Reduced speed and offence greatly reduces the opponents offensive presence.
- Striking the same opponent regularly will increase the effects of Soul Corruption.
Weaknesses:
- Opponents of higher rank than Odin cannot be corrupted.
- Soul Corruption is a prerequisite for many of Odin's spells, and so it is almost a necessity to ensure he hits with this spell.
- The initial effects of Soul Corruption are rather weak.
- Soul Corruption requires Odin to strike the opponent physically in order to affect them.
Duration: Perma-debuff upon being struck.

Strengths:
- Disappearing suddenly can allow Odin to dodge incoming attacks with ease.
- Odin can travel a fair distance across the ground at a respectable speed.
- Odin can hide within other shadows and travel freely through them while in shadow form
Weaknesses:
- Light based spells deal double damage while he is in shadow form and force him to return to his normal form.
- Odin cannot attack while in shadow form.
- Odin cannot reappear from directly beneath another person.
- Odin cannot pass through solid objects such as walls while in shadow form.
Duration: 1 post
Cooldown: 3 posts

- Odin's is granted no defensive enhancements.
- Cannot be used if Odin's HP is below 5%
- Unlike Gloom, Odin cannot cast this upon any allies.

Strengths:
- Odin is granted complete immunity to magic used by anyone afflicted by Soul Corruption.
- Odin can regenerate his HP by absorbing any spells fired at him by a corrupted soul.
- Abate Darkness is one of the few spells where Odin does not require a blood payment.

- Odin can only regenerate HP from attacks by corrupted souls, and only those of his own rank or below.
- Abate Darkness does not deal any damage to the opponent if they strike Odin.
- Abate Darkness does not allow Odin to regenerate MP.
Duration: 1 posts
Cooldown: 3 posts
- Gloom:
Name: Gloom
Rank: D
Type: AoE Support
Description: Odin pays 10% of his HP and projects his inner darkness into the world before him, turning the skies to black and creating a purple haze within a 50m circumference. All dark based magic damage used within this area is boosted by 100%. This does not affect dark based weapons, armours or items. Odin also becomes immune to dark-based attacks
"There is no light to see beyond the blackest skyline."
Strengths:
- All dark-based magics are boosted dramatically while Gloom is in effect.
- The area of effect is rather large, reducing the chance of Odin being removed from it.
- Due to Odin's natural resistance to darkness, plus the fact the darkness is his own projected darkness, he becomes immune to all dark-based attacks for the duration of the spell.
Weaknesses:
- Odin's own equipment does not receive the boost from Gloom.
- Odin must pay 10% of his HP to cast this spell.
- Dark-based slayer mages can inhale the darkness and end the spell and its effects.
- Dark based attacks of all enemies are boosted as well as allies, causing problems should Gloom be cast in a huge fight where some allies are not boosted.
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
- C-rank:
- Replicate:
Name: Replicate
Rank: C
Type: Support
Description: While in Seep, Odin pays 10% of his HP to create 3 exact copies of himself. Each copy deals physical damage equal to Odin's own, but only require a single D-rank spell to destroy.
Strengths:
- Each replica does damage equal to Odin's own damage output with Muramasa, making it difficult to spot the real Odin.
- Paying 10% HP puts Odin closer to the passive boosts of Blood for Blood and Adversity.
- As the spell comes out of Seep, all four Odin's appear together in the same way at the same time.
Weaknesses:
- Each replica only requires a single D-rank strike before they evaporate.
- Should Odin himself be struck, the remaining replicas will evaporate.
- Paying 10% HP puts Odin closer to KO range.
- Odin does not gain any benefits while the replicas are active, and he is unable to cast buff spells without giving away his position.
- The spell must be used directly after Seep.
Duration: Variable (until all replicas are destroyed or until Odin himself is struck.
Cooldown: 5 posts (requires Seep)
- Soul Drain:
- Name: Soul Drain
Rank: C
Type: Support
Description: Odin's body is covered in a purple aura while the bodies of all corrupted souls are surrounded by a blood-red aura. Each corrupted soul loses 5% of their HP. Odin then regenerates HP equal to the amount of HP drain from the corrupted souls.
"Ahhh...that's better."
Strengths:
- Soul Drain is a great way for Odin to keep his HP up after casting powerful blood payment spells.
- The more souls that are corrupted, the more HP Odin can regenerate.
- Corrupted souls are unable to evade this spell.
Weaknesses:
- Soul Drain does not regenerate MP.
- If there are a low amount of souls corrupted then the regenerated amount of HP will be rather low.
- Odin cannot cast this spell on non-corrupted opponents.
- The HP drained from weaker opponents will be a smaller portion in comparison to Odin's own HP (5% D-rank HP = 1% Odin's HP).
- This spell can only be cast on opponents of equal or lower rank.
Duration: 1 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
- Shadow Strike:

"Surprise."
Strengths:
- Shadow Strike deals D-rank damage every post for three posts.
- Shadow Strike combos from Seep, making it difficult to dodge or predict.
- The strike activates the effects of Soul Corruption, tagging the target's soul and afflicting them with the secondary effects (this stacks in the same manner as Soul Corruption).
Weaknesses:
- Shadow Strike can only be used immediately after Seep.
- The initial strike only deals D-rank damage, which is underwhelming compared to most C-rank spells.
- Odin can only increase the initial damage output of Shadow Strike by paying 5% HP
- This spell will not affect dark-based slayer mages.
Duration: 1 post
Cooldown: N/A (can only be used after Seep)

"Weak."
Strengths:
- Completely defeats all enemies of D-rank.
- Unavoidable to any corrupted souls within the vicinity of the attack.
- As the attack disperses in all directions, there is no maximum number of targets who will be struck by the spell.
Weaknesses:
- Once 10 posts have passed, all enemies above D-rank struck with Zantetsuken will be renewed with 50% HP and MP.
- Only affects those of lower rank than Odin.
- Dark based slayer mages are able to negate the effects of Zantetsuken by inhaling the blast.
- Does not affect non-corrupted souls.

- Minus Strike:
- Name: Minus Strike

Strengths:
- Minus Strike can take an opponent to healthy to very weak in just one strike, making it an incredible game-changer.
- Minus Strike ignores any defensive buffs on the opponent.
- Minus Strike can be used on any opponents regardless of whether they are corrupted or not.
Weaknesses:
- This attack will not take the opponent's HP below Odin's HP.
- This attack cannot be used when Odin is at 100% HP
- Attack buffs upon Odin are ignored.
- Any defensive debuffs that the opponent is afflicted with are ignored.
Duration: Instant Use
Cooldown: 6 posts
- Dark Nebula:
- Name: Dark Nebula
Rank: B
Type: AoE Offence
Description: Crimson magic circles appear beneath every corrupted soul. Every soul loses 5% HP as a small amount of blood is pulled from their bodies. The accumulated blood is then converted into a dark magical aura that strikes a single target, dealing damage equal to the accumulated damage dealt by the initial effect.
"Here, have a taste of your friends."
Strengths:
- Every corrupted soul is struck for 5% of their maximum HP.
- The accumulated damage is then used as a weapon to deal damage equal to the total damage of the initial spell effect on a single target.
- It is impossible for a corrupted soul to avoid the first effect of the spell.
Weaknesses:
- The HP drain only works on those who are afflicted with Soul Corruption.
- Only a non-corrupted soul can be struck with the accumulated damage.
- The end damage output can be considerably lower than a normal B-rank hit should there not be many corrupted souls.
- 5% damage is very little damage output to the corrupted souls.

Once the 5 posts are up, Doom takes effect and Odin's HP becomes 0% regardless of whether he has regenerated any HP throughout the duration.
Note: In PvP, Odin will not be KO'd if he defeats all of his opponents.
"All or nothing."
Strengths:
- Boosts Odin's Physical Attack by 200%
- Boosts Odin's Durability by 200%, making that last bit of HP last longer than expected.
- MP cost is halved for the duration.
Weaknesses:
- Odin's HP drops to 0% as soon as the spell is over.
- Regenerating HP within the duration of the spell will not keep Odin from being KO'd when the duration ends.
- Odin's HP must be 10% or lower when casting this spell.
- If Odin is KO'd before the duration is over then his MP will drop to 0% as well.
Duration: 5 posts

- A target can only be struck by Soul Destruction once.
- The effects of Soul Corruption will no longer stack on the struck target.
- The target must be afflicted by Soul Corruption before Soul Destruction can be cast upon them.
