Cradled by the Dark

Even as Jiyu came back and asked the Leila about her arm, the Eden's sorceress would merely stare at the canine without reply. At the same time, Aurora would move away from the main doors and stand next to her summoner while placing one of her hands on the white-haired girl's shoulder.

"We shouldn't waste any more time. The soon we finish this, the sooner we can get to the core of this."

And with those words, her form would once again fall apart into nothing more than shining blue ethernano particles, which would disappear from mortal gaze soon enough. It seemed that the two Eden beings figured out that things would go in their favor most if they were to combine their powers. Literally. Leila would sprout two pairs of wings, ones dark and black, mostly consisting of vines, thorns and withered roses. While the other pair was like the one Aurora had, angelic wings that would awaken the sense of beauty in just about anyone. Not only that, a good half of her body would now be covered in Eden's corruption. This half's eye would turn blue inside of green and the snow-white hair that covered part was now also raven black. Taking few steps toward the canine, the newly merged being would put her hand on the smaller girl's shoulder. And at that moment, she could probably feel an unnatural and chilling cold all over her body.

"You will follow behind me, Kazehime. I don't care what you feel, I will not allow you to kill anything in this world. And if you do... I will make sure you will spend the rest of this event without consciousness in that darkness out there."

A fair warning that the girl would stand behind. And so the sorcerress would walk into the darkness of outside, an orb of light surrounding her and illuminating the imminent area around her as if it was a daytime in Earthland. She would wait for her companion for a little bit, making actually sure that the assertive side would still want to go even after hearing those words. Right now, neither of them were their true self it seemed. The much more cold and heartless versions... and yet, the Eden's creation was still holding onto her ideals and hopes. No one had to die today. Not anymore today. She would knock all the enemies out and take these stupid candies to deliver them back to the Regent of the Night. And that was the end of it. Assertive was only there as a backup, an additional firepower. The creation was in charge now.

Even before stepping out, the Eden's creation would stop for few moments, seemingly replaying all those words inside of her head. Before she would turn around once again, her gaze piercing the assertive face with a cold stare, one of her hands extending forward. In a single instant, white markings would glow all over Jiyu's body while the red ones marked Leila's.

"You don't have the capacity to hold back? That is strange. I recall placing this seal onto you, sacrificing my own life and everything I had to give you the capacity to hold back and have control. I am glad to see that you threw it away."

But that was a topic for another day. Not wasting any more time, she would leap out, slightly extending the orb of light around her as she started sprinting forward. Jiyu would have to keep up it seemed. If she really wasn't able to hold back, then this should be of very little trouble to her. In the distance, she already saw them. The strange beings forming. 4 strange floating creatures without color. Roughly 12 fairy-like creatures that had what they were looking for and two pumpkin knights that were rather similar to the one in the main hall. The creation would cross her arms while running, a tiny nail-like object from wood forming between her fingers as she tossed them forward, each nail exploding into vines as they hit 8 of the fairies and quickly restrained them completely.

"Take the rest of the small ones. I'll handle the big ones."

Charging straight at the two creatures, she would suddenly cut off a portion of her outfit again. The orb of light was always centered at her due to the ability of her outfit. But she was also a rather mobile fighter that always tried to close the distance between herself and the foe. Which meant Jiyu would have trouble keeping up most likely while also trying to fight the rest of the enemies. And so, she centered the core of that ability on the piece of fabric which remained lying on the floor. If the girl wanted, she had the option to pick it up and have the light for herself. Or she could have just remained in place and take on the enemies from distance, it was up to her really. But the Eden's creation knew precisely what it was doing. One of the knights was already heading right at her, swinging it's scythe hand vertically in her direction. Of course, she was able to dodge such predictable move without any problems. A celestial staff would appear in her right hand in order to block it's other hand, forcing it back against it's body and even moving it from the spot a bit. In her left hand would start forming a wooden drill that she did not hesitate to bury into her opponent. She could feel that these ones were rather sturdy and capable of withstanding it all. And while the drill did a good amount of damage, it wasn't enough. Thankfully, that also wasn't the end of her assault, as the wooden weapon 'opened up' and the individual strands of the drill became strong branches that would bury themselves into the pumpin's body and push it back, launching it off into the distance. These ones were not carrying any candies either, so they had the option to just defeat them however they wanted.

The other knight tried to take advantage of the creation being distracted by his comrade, sneaking in behind and then attempting to cleave her in half from behind. Though the moment his scythe hand touched her body, she would fall apart into particles of light and re-appear above him insead. Eight orbs of dark energy were already floating behind her in a circular motion before moving up front and shooting off like cannon balls at the poor creature. Several of them managed to hit and those that did not at least created fairly well sized craters in the ground. As one would expect, that was not quite enough to put the vile pumpkin down either as it swung it's hands again, extending them rather long way forward to reach the girl who was mid-air and not quite able to dodge. Except she didn't really need to dodge. From her back, a number of large branches would shoot out, tearing apart another portion of her outfit and her skin at the same time. At this point, she would probably be lucky to still be wearing enough to consceal the more sensitive parts of her body. Something like that did not matter at the moment, however. The branches would surround her, creating a shape of a lotus as the scythes dug into it. At that moment, the wooden lotus would open up again, stretching the pumpkin's hands to both sides and leaving a clear path to it's body for the girl who created another drill. At full force, she would smash it into the creature and together with it hit the ground, forming yet another crater and a rather large cloud of dust. That was her part done, all the dangerous enemies down. The question was if assertive managed to do her job as well. And if she did, all the had to do was collect the treats left around and return back to the main hall.
