Name: Ghost Cat (Tyberius Alexander Karlheinz III)
Rank: N/A
Species: Cat, Undead
Type: Non-Combat
Description:
Ghost Cat is a bit of an enigma even in looks. Assuredly a cat in…its life, what type is a mystery as all color has leeched from its body and become a milky white when actually visible to the naked eye. Most pretenses of legs have disappeared in lieu of a ghostly tail, though there appears to be two stubby hands. These are theorized to be more for looks considering Ghost Cat can’t actually pick anything up, at best giving a slightly chilled touch like other specters upon touching something or merely floating in some place as he cools the area by a degree or two like other cliché ghost spots. The face….there really is no explanation for it, usually something exaggerated and unrealistic by most standards, and for the most part Ghost Cat comes across as a creature caught in a moment of absolute terror, but this does go away at times so speculated that this is done for its amusement.
Ghost Cat is a strange one in terms of personality. A little spazzy, one could view it as a jokester considering its face isn’t stuck in that default terror look, but it’s the one it often dons. While there is probably also a gender on the little feline, it refuses to admit to being either one on some strange, ever-changing basis. The thing is often filled with one excuse or another for the way it acts or the things it does, but the real one usually involves something along the lines of “because it can.” Sometimes one believes it to be a male because given a chance it likes to spy on women, but just when that idea becomes cemented in one’s mind it switches and starts stalking men. It loves making faces behind people when said person cannot see it, and does on occasion like to try to spook people even though it can be hard to be scared of it given its ridiculous appearance. The closest it gets is probably from surprising people as it suddenly disappears, often right in front of people, so only true Scaredy Cats would feel true fright in the presence of this…thing. Ghost Cat is also not above revenge, though its form is rather petty considering it consists of using someone’s room, office, favorite place, etc as a litter box. Though he can’t leave a physical mess on anything, merely a ghostly one, it’s a little more devious than some might imagine considering its ghostly, and thus has to be exorcised away if one wants to get rid of the smell - the only thing that affects the living.
Abilities:
After Life: Ghost Cat, already being dead, cannot die to death again. For reasons no priest can explain, even when one tries to exorcise it away the blasted thing reappears later - at a timing most convenient to it of course. As such, with its intangible life style Ghost Cat may easily hide in either bath at hot springs or a guild bath just as well as it can lie in wait around a corner. This isn't to say that Ghost Cat can't be hugged to the point of eyes bulging out like some sort of squeaky toy, or doesn't eat food (and then leave messes in the shoes and homes of those it dislikes), however its messes do generally require someone to exorcise it away.
