Description: The user of this magic is able to analyze, store and retrieve information on other magics and the world around them. Through this magic they are also able to eventually learn techniques they analyze and store enough times in order to use them themselves later. This magic is based around the accessing and usage of information, be it worldly or magical and can be applied in a myriad of ways using both the self and others.
An ancient form of Archive Magic that utilize the use of special spellbooks, runes and magic circles. This magic originated from a massive library of knowledge known as the Spellbook Tower. While "The Grand Spellbook Tower" has a vast collection of "Spellbooks", the Spellbooks themselves have no actual physical form and are a general term for the wisdom of the ancients stored in the "Spellbook Libraries", recorded using magical energy itself as a medium. From that, the information takes on book form at the whim of the allowed mage. Its location is hidden but has ties to the Empyrea Academy of Higher Magical Studies.Kobayashi is attuned to the ancient energies that flow through each of its tomes , interlinking one to another in a network of arcane knowledge.
Due to this, Kobayashi is able to call upon these tomes at will in the form of light-constructed visuals of these books which appear before him.(Similar to living screens but in a more mythic form, and not to be confused with exquipt) Sometimes one at a time, sometimes many, all which allow him to gather, review, access vast information. The runes of the books are visible only to him, unless he wills them to be viewed by others. The runes originating from a mix of English and Norse characters. The different tomes, allow him the ability to understand different magics he scan using a special rune eye he possesses. From that, different tomes help him identify a magic, store the knowledge; transfer them to himself to use as well as to others. Many other abilities are available with use of these manifestations of the ancient books.
Strengths:
- The ability to understand different magics he scan using a special rune eye he possesses. From that, different tomes help him identify a magic, store the knowledge; transfer them to himself to use as well as to others.
- As a member of the academy and possessing a natural thirst for knowledge, he is focused and able to dedicate much to reading, and learning, making him very knowledgeable.
- New stuff can be learned and used mid-combat (still needs spell slots, only counts for Assimilated Spells)
- As a molding magic, it is good for both offense and defense
Weaknesses:
- Usless against Telepaths of Kobayashi's Rank or Higher
- Limited memorization rate. Kobayashi can't memorize infinitely in an instant, he needs some time to take it in
- He cannot memorize things that cannot be knowingly experienced, so mind-based powers are actually unable to be memorized.
- Kobayashi may not Use, Assimilate, or Memory Forge spells unless he is the spell's rank
Abilities/Powers:
- Understanding of various languages, and magics
- Pretty much a genius with the vast knowledge of magics and languages
- Telepathy Because his magic is channeled directly through his brain, he is able to use telepathy for a more communicative method. With it, he can communicate words and information to other people within its range.

Type: Archive Analysis
Description: Kobayashi's right eye glows to reveal a rune when analyzing a subject. The user is capable of activating this technique for a short time in order to analyze any and all techniques they are able to see whilst this technique is active. Once the user has analyzed a technique enough times/through certain circumstances they are granted access on that technique whenever they witness it again, either in the same post or forever depending on the rank of this technique. At certain ranks the user may be able to analyze deeper into the magic of the individual who used the technique, to grant more information than before. Techniques must be analyzed 3 times to be stored, -1 per rank higher this technique is than the technique you are witnessing, however you cannot analyze higher ranked techniques. Techniques must be analyzed at least once to be learned.
Strengths:
- The lower the techinque is the less time analyzing it takes to memorize it
- Allows him to cast memorized spells
- Allows Kobayashi to access even more excruciating details from the things he's memorized.
Weaknesses:
- Must remain stationary for this spell
- Has a limited range for Kobayashi to analyze the person or magic (10 Meters)
- Quick movement makes it difficult to analyze the person or magic
- If vision of the 'eye' is blocked or blinded in some way the Analysis has to start all over

Type: Archive storage/retrieval
Description: This technique allows the Archive Mage to store and retrieve analyzed techniques that they have permanently learned using their Archive Analysis (Eye of Ansuz), allowing them the ability to access information they have gathered and then use it in various ways, such as logically understanding an enemies magic type or temporarily using a technique they have analyzed as their own. However the power of the techniques used with this Retrieval is equal to the Rank it was stored -1 in damage (to a minimum of one, meaning a Rank C technique will only count as a Rank D technique for damage) but to an equal rank in additional effects (so a blast that electrocutes will have a weaker blast but a normal-strength electrocution). Not all techniques can be retrieved using this technique.
Strengths:
- Allows him to cast his memorized spells
- The memorized spells cannot be seen, unless Kobayashi wants the person to see them.
Weaknesses:
- Limited amount of storage
- Cannot work without of Ansuz (eye of Odin
- If the Limit of spells is reached the oldest spell is forgotten.
- Duration: 3 posts Cooldown: 5 posts
