Personality: Alvero is the pinnacle of boyhood. He's very outgoing and loves to interact with other people. Oftentimes he treats people with such kindness and sincerity that it's often questioned among those present whether he's doing it as some sort of cruel joke. These people would soon come to realize Alvero is completely genuine and true to his heart in the cheerfulness he shows to others.

He is a very naive boy as well, believing the gist of what anyone says at any time. The story of a D rank mage slaying a dragon with their fists? Believable. A woman fending off one hundred monsters with nothing but her trusty blade? Why not! What's that you say? You created the strongest magic to exist?

"No way! That's so cool!"

Alvero's belief is that the world of magic is filled with such amazing creations that nothing is outside the realms of possibility. His imagination and creative mind is great enough that he shows extreme promise and potential should he put in effort to make his ideas a reality.

Alas, he also has his moments of procrastination. He doesn't put as much thought into his methods as others would. Most of his spell ideas come from on-the-spot combat analysis and only very rarely are they the kinds of things that he spends hours cooped up in a room thinking, "Yeah, maybe I'll try this combination next time..." or some such thing. Rather, he tries new techniques even in the heat of battle and comes off as impulsive and ignorant often as a result.

Seeing other people sad or in peril really puts him off. He can't accept seeing anyone else down on their luck if they appear to be a good person. He refuses to see a good-spirited person suffer from sadness, and will do what he can to help that person out. Even if it's something as simple as being a wall for them to talk to, he is willing to help people overcome their struggles even if it isn't any of his business. Whether for better or worse, he is indeed persistent and his nature shines more than ever when acting on the behalf of someone else.

Despite how he appears on the outside, he suffers from incredible anxiety and trauma from events in his past. Betraying his appearance, he's quite a loner most days and knows very few people he can call friends. He tries to hide or forget his sadness by being as cheerful as previously described, and while it is quite genuine, he can become more quiet when serious topics such as death or arguments are brought up.

He is very sensitive especially on matters involving death, and particularly shows fury towards those that take the subject lightly in a joking way, or casually brag about how much pain they've caused. When faced with such subjects, he speaks much differently than normally. In a much more serious tone and a rebellious glare, he won't hesitate to step in.

Alvero often finds himself pondering on life and the point to it. He constantly thinks on the things that no one can answer. Why do people exist? For what purpose are people driven to continue living? These are things he wishes deeply that there were answers to. Alas, the lack thereof only seeks to frustrate him day after day.

In battle, he is surprisingly more competent than one would expect given how he socializes. He doesn't believe himself to be a leader, but is excellent at following directions. He is capable of analyzing his opponent and their fighting style if he can somehow be calmed down. This typically only happens in a fight which Alvero particularly recognizes as important. Whether being told, or realizing his opponent is one that involves thinking, he can be a good thinker if put under the right conditions and the right pressure.

Likes:

- The wind: When it's loud, its breeze gives Alvero the feeling of what he can only describe as being alive. When it's no more than a whisper, it puts him into a state of tranquility that can only rarely be matched by other sounds.

- People: Being around people gives him the feeling of being alive and not alone. Even if the person is a despicable human being, Alvero feels it better than loneliness.

- Music: Alvero often finds himself playing music when alone. He finds some strange enjoyment out of it that lulls him into a world of daydreams, fantasy and reflection.

Dislikes:

- Death: He hates the topic of death in general. This involves people who mention the pain they've caused, sadistic magics and to-the-death battles.

- Perfectionists: Perfection in general is a no-no around Alvero. It's a taboo word in his presence because the thought that someone would be so desperate as to attempt to become perfect is pathetic in his eyes. One of the few times he looks down on someone is during those moments, as he is particularly frustrated when one tries to do everything perfect.

- Dark Guilds: Why would there be so many people willing to spread pain and misery? And why would they gather under a banner? Alvero in no way agrees with the methods Dark Guilds use to worsen others' days in order to better their own.

Motivations:

- To make 6 lifelong friends: Alvero's grandfather always told him that every honorable man needs six lifelong friends, of which you've been through thick and thin with, to send you off to your grave. Thus, Alvero has decided to search for six people that he could entrust his life to and talk about anything with.

- To see the world: As well as everything in it, Alvero wishes to explore as much as he possibly can. He wants to see as many unique magics as he can, and hear as many stories as people have to offer.

- To be remembered: Not just by one or two people, Alvero wants to do something to change the world. He wants to be remembered long after he's gone for something. Anything. He doesn't want to fade away, forgotten with time.


Fears:

- Death: He despises death, but he also fears it. The thought of dying haunts him every day, guiding his life in a direction he doesn't like to imagine.

- Loneliness: He experienced true loneliness for the longest time. He was out in the world, knowing no one, and fears being that way again. To have no connections is to be devoid of humanity, in Alvero's eyes. He would much rather be forgotten than be a lone wanderer for the rest of his life.

- Judgement: Despite how he is so carefree with his mannerisms, he often finds himself taking the things others say rather hard. He is scared of the judgement others may put on him, and so he tries to be as happy as possible as a result.

Alvero:

Alvero is a boy of short height and average weight. His smile is the kind that can add a lighter atmosphere to the room, and his eyes are always gleaming fiery red with passion.

He dresses as a starry-eyed adventurer eager to explore would. His outfits light and welcoming in appearance, he throws on whatever can keep him cool and yet prepared for rain or snow. This often consists of his usual outfit. A striped shirt underneath a white hoodie. Orange slacks. Black boots which have clearly been worn through many various landscapes. All in all he takes on the appearance of one who has been through many different experiences despite his age.
