Everyone and their uncle has a mansion/castle. I would like to start a movement for all mages to live in cheap apartments and 1 story houses. Because is everyone is rich then no one will be.

I don't know how serious I am about this movement.

However maybe having to pay jewels to live in a pimp estate may be a good idea? Or maybe just any kind of development for character residences, as they get almost no use despite being a quality and unique aspect of our site.

(Almyra stays with her parents sometimes and Emilia lives in the ST guildhall)

Honestly though, sometimes a mansion does make sense if you want your character to be a nobleman/woman. And there are 12 people with mansions out of how many on this site? I don't see much of a problem.

Ha I don't even have a home other than the guild halls my character resides in. But I can see your point. This has been noted and I will work on it later. As soon as I'm finished with my current projects.

I live in a small cot with two floors. But I agree with you. I don't think we need people living in cardboard boxes. I think 3 bedroom, 2 floor houses are ok.

I don't even have a house.

I have four characters. The idea of Zack having a static home doesn't fit. If anything he'd have an airship so i'd have to purchase that. Sinali having a home...again doesn't fit considering she doesn't have any wants or needs that a home would fulfill and thus she stays in her room at the guild hall. Beowulf is a fricking wolf so he is used to being outside and if he owns a mansion at any point it will be purely for hilarities sakes.

Shiraz on the other hand....he is the only one who would have a house of any kind realistically and even if he was forced to live in a cardboard box it would be the most beautiful cardboard box ever. Though tbh over time he could make himself a castle out of candy

And three pools of water.
And no sunlight.

I also think most of these castles/mansions are unnecessary.
