A new friendship (Chloe- Sakura)

Chloe had been extremely bored as she sat alone in the guild hall. She looked around to see that it was definitely as hectic as always. She was happy that her corner was the only non chaotic portion of the hall. She sat at her table for two with Gwen sitting on her head sleeping. She smiled and pet her head thinking about how she has been in the guild for a little bit. She had heard that a new member joined today and hoped to meet her someday.

Sakura looked around the guild, not knowing what to do. "Just go and speak to someone and try to make friends!" The bossy exceed by her side pushed her in the direction of a girl sitting at a table by herself with an exceed, "Go speak to that girl, I will try and speak to her exceed and then we can all be friends."
Sakura froze, she didnt want to put herself and others in an awkward situation by just going up to someone, "She might not like me, Ebony." The exceeds ears twitched agitatedly as she tried to think of a way to motivate the shy girl before her.
"She might be interested in your tarot," If that didnt work, Ebony had no idea what would.
At the mention of her precious tarot cards Sakuras eyes lit up, she gave a single nod and approached the girls table quietly.

Chloe noticed the approaching girl and smiled. She happily waved and gestured for the girl to come sit across from her. The girl definitely had the newbie look on her, that Chloe was famous for a week or two ago. "So, whats your name?" Chloe said smiling and trying to be as nice as possible. Meanwhile Gwen perked up when she smelt another exceed nearby and instantly flew towards her. "I'm Gwen!" the exceed said extremely happy when she meets new people. Gwen wondered what this new cat was like, never seeing another one of her kind before.

"I am Sakura Iris" Sakura had forced herself to speak loud enough for the girl in front of her. Ebony gave a satisfied smile before greeting the exceed named Gwen, "You may call me Ebony," She shook the other cats hand and gave an encouraging nod to Sakura as if to say 'look how easy it is'.
"May I sit down?" Sakura closed her eyes waiting for the girl before her to tell her to go away and leave her alone.

"Of course!" Chloe said smiling as she took her bag from the seat and gestured for Sakura to sit. Eventually Chloe spoke up saying, "So Sakura, I assume your new?" she said, already almost sure of the answer. She wondered what type of magic this new member would use, she was extremely hopeful that it would be something cool. Meanwhile Gwen smiled and gestured for Ebony to fly with her as she went up and sat down next to Chloe, prompting her to be pet on the head, "So hows the guild so far Ebony?" Gwen said happy she was talking to another cat for once.

Sakura sat down gratefully, deciding that she liked this girl and was going to speak to her. "Yes I just joined," She hesitated "You are the only person I have met so far". Sakura had been a little disappointed at this however she isnt the sort of person to put herself out there and meet new people anyway, however none of her sad thoughts were visible to the girl sitting opposite her as her face remained emotionless.
Ebony sat on the table in front of her owner, "hmm, Its okay," Ebony had been expecting Sakura to chose Saber Tooth and had to admit she was a little disappointed in her owners decision but would never argue back. Instead Ebony gave a slight disapproving sniff as she watched the other guild members around them.

"Thats nice." Chloe said as she thought about what this girl should do when she first joins. Eventually Chloe noticed the cards in her hand, "Hey, are you a card mage?" she said smiling, hoping this girl would open up to her more. Meanwhile Gwen smiled and said, "So what are you two planning to do here?" Gwen said always happy when around new people.

"Yes I am," Sakura looked at the girl infront of her realising she had yet to learn her name "If you dont mind me asking, what is your name?" Sakura tried to smile but failed due to her lack of expression.
"Well Sakura wants to become an S-class mage- but I cant see that happening poor thing. And I am hoping to bring her out of her shell," Ebony smiled back at Gwen. It was nice to have another exceed around.

Chloe had completely forgot to introduce herself. She instantly became red with embarrassment when she realized this girl knew nothing about her. She instantly stood up and bowed to Sakura and said, "I'm sorry Sakura, My name is Chloe Aquas and I am a water dragon slayer." she said trying to get on the same level as Sakura. Meanwhile Gwen facepalmed when Chloe got up and started apologizing.

Sakura couldnt help but give a small tinkling giggle. She found Chloe rather amusing as she apologized repeatedly for not introducing herself. Gwen also smiled to herself thinking that Chloe would be a good friend for Sakura to have.
"Chloe-sama..." Sakura looked at her new friend happily.

Chloe smiled and sat back down, now more comfortable that she was friends with this girl. "So... do you have a place to stay?" Chloe said smiling as she thought about the three rooms she has in her house, even though one was the bath, and Chloe's favorite. Meanwhile Gwen smiled that Chloe calmed down and looked at the cat in front of her. "So Ebony, what is Sakura like?"

Sakura shook her head "I haven't started looking for a place to stay yet. Do you know anywhere I would be welcome?" She twiddled her thumbs thinking she way be speaking too much, however on the other hand Chloe seemed to be someone she could trust.
Ebony tilted her head slightly and returned her attention to Gwen as opposed to their owners "Well... she doesnt usually speak to people so I am very surprised with her today. She is usually too shy to speak. sakura is also very proud to be a mage... What is your owner like?"

Chloe nodded and smiled saying, "I've got a spare room at my place." Chloe said hoping that Sakura could come stay with Kyoya and Chloe. This girl seemed really nice and Chloe was extremely happy she made a new friend like her. Meanwhile Gwen smiled and said, "Well Chloe doesnt usually let people into her hiding corner. But she has a soft spot for new guild members." Gwen said smiling as Chloe became red with embarrassment.

"oh... May I stay with you then?" Sakura was grateful for Chloe's generosity and looked at her with hopeful eyes. "She wont be too much trouble" Ebony butted in before returning to her own conversation once again "Chloe seems like just the right kind of person to bring Sakura out of her shell" Sakuras eyes widened in embarrassment as she overheard what her exceed was saying, "Hopefully Sakura will be considered one of the guild as opposed to a newcomer."

Chloe smiled and instantly went to hug Sakura. "I'd love to have you stay with me!" she said happily as she got up and gestured for Sakura to follow her. Chloe was extremely happy that Sakura agreed to stay with her and wanted desperately to have her be a friend. She led Sakura out of the guild hall and ran down the street smiling, "Follow me!" she said glad no one was in sight on the street. Meanwhile Gwen smiled and said, "Well Chloe is still counted a as a newcomer" she said as she followed Chloe and flew onto her head as she ran.
