Meeting the Master (Chikane and Umb)

Chloe walked cautiously and quietly through the Fairy Tail Guild hall, hoping to find the guild's master whom she heard so much about. She walked through all the large crowds of people, terrified of all of them. She dripped water as she walked and hoped she wouldn't draw any attention. Meanwhile, Gwen was riding on her head as she walked, looking for the person Chloe wanted to meet. Chloe looked to the center of the hall and hoped the master would be nearby.

As hectic as it could be in the Fairy Tail guild hall, Chikane was pleasantly surprised with the amount of peace in the hall at the moment. So much so that she ignored the small pile of paperwork that would no doubt grow on her desk. Today was going to be a normal relaxation day, as the guild master sat quietly at a table while happily nibbling on a couple of donuts while quietly scanning the hall and feeling out for anything abnormal. If a fight broke out then she wanted to easily be able to contain it using her……..natural talking ability.

While happily munching away, Chikane felt a different magic source than the ones she had gotten readjusted to. Looking in the direction, she saw a small girl looking around with a small exceed on her head. Chikane was at a loss as to what to do, so she simply sat there continuously nibbling and staring at the girl, wondering what she could exactly be looking for.

Chikane blinked at the young girl’s question, it wasn’t something that she was asked often. The guild pretty much knew who the master was, after all it wasn’t exactly hard to find the female nibbling on donuts in her office or somewhere in the hall. But she hadn’t seen the young blonde around the guild, so it was going to be hard for her to know her. “Well….I know where the master is.” Chikane spoke softly, and with gentleness oozing out her tone. The blonde haired guild master focused her complete attention on the girl after putting the donut she was eating down on her plate again.

“I am the guild master. Noriko Hitsugaya, also known as Chikane, at your service.” Chikane smiled softly at the young girl, before asking her own question. “Now may I ask what do you need of me? I’ll be glad to be of any help I can.” Chikane didn’t know if this girl had joined before or after she had left, but she was determined to figure out how she could assist her.

Chikane scratched her head, wondering what she did to get this girl to thank her for anything. “Um….well you’re welcome but I didn’t exactly do anything….” The guild master looked at the exceed that had landed on the girl’s head, before averting her gaze back towards the girl. “You said you joined a few days back? Hm….I had come back just then. Guess I have been a bit busier than I remember. Welcome to the guild.” Chikane smiled at Chloe once more, this one a bit bigger than the other ones. “If theres anything you ever need, just talk to me. I’ll be able to help no matter what.”

Chikane was telling the truth, she’d do whatever it was possible for her guild to feel comfortable and safe. Anything non violent that was.
