Personality/History: Kata Naginata is a mute, and she was born without the ability to speak. Because of this, she developed telepathy, and her magic was manifested in a way which she was able to use it without words becoming necessary. Personally, Kata avoids using her last name aka surname, Naginata, when possible, since she does not appreciate having it as a memory of her family, who abandoned the two siblings when they were young.  Kata is a very generous person, because as a child herself, she and Irina were often without food, shelter, or other necessities. Because of this, she does not eat a lot and will try to conserve both energy, food, and any other materials she is presented with.  Kata has a lot of compassion for other people and can always be depended on for practically anything, perhaps excepting scenarios where she has to hurt others or deceive them. Kata is not particularly stubborn, nor is her mind set in stone, in stark contrast to her sister Irina, whose harshness and strong will is an amazing differentiation. Kata is not assertive, and will not argue unless she very, very strongly believes in the point being argued. When it comes to her sister, Irina, Kata is very protective, despite the fact that she knows Irina is more protective of Kata, because she is her younger sister. Kata often helped Irina out socially, because Kata is good with communication and diplomacy, despite the fact that she cannot physically speak.  Kata has a certain charisma to her that might make her a good leader, but she lacks some assertiveness that is required to lead a team.

In battle, Kata is kind but very firm on her enemies, and does not hold back, even if it a scrimmage or what not. Kata will readily sacrifice her life for her sister, Irina, and together as a team, they are virtually unstoppable by someone of the same ranking, unless circumstances should be dead set against them.  When Kata is fighting, she will usually fight with a particular style that is in accordance with how her sister is fighting.  For example, if her sister is fighting mostly on the offence, or with an offencive style, Kata will either take the offence and back up her sister, or take the defence to compensate for the lack there of, to be frank.  She and Irina hide each others`s flaws, and it would be a bad day when they both fight each other honestly and without holding back.  Irina could easily be persuaded to give it her all, but Kata, despite her personality of being honest and firm with others, she does not ever want to hurt her sister.

When fighting in a team, Kata usually prefers not to be the one in charge. She has no problems following orders, because she is not willfull, like her sister, Irina. - Flying :  Kata likes to be up high, in free and open places.  Her music makes her feel as though she is dancing upon a cloud, high up in the sky, and she yearns for that freedom on the earthly plane.  Flying brings some of the feeling of euphoria, with the wind rushing against her face and the bright, pure sunlight shining in her eyes.  Being high up in places like on top of mountains, and such, therefore make Kata feel very happy and free.

- Light and Brightness :  This also has to do with Kata`s love of heights and flying.  The sun is a beautiful thing, to her, with it`s pure, healing light that fake and created illumination cannot bring.  Light represents purity and happiness, and things thrive under it, instead of withering away in the darkness, and being concealed from the world.  Light seems so free, open, and welcoming, that it appeals to Kata very much and simply makes her feel happy.

- Silence :  Despite Kata`s love for music, she also appreciates all that silence can convey, with its powerful reactions and its countless different feels.  Kata does not talk a mile a minute, and she is not socially awkward partly because she is a good listener but can communicate with others quite well and comfortably if need be.

- Underground : Kata doesn`t like the feeling of being mushed underground in tightly enclosed spaces, with little room to move around and for her notes to carry all around to protect her, and wrap around her.  Kata feels uncomfortable, but mostly just doesn`t like being underground, such as in tunnels, or passageways.

- Selfishness :  Kata has come to dislike selfishness, some what because of the fact that she and her sister were often neglected and left on their own because people refused to help them due to not wanting to ruin their reputation, etc.  Kata isn`t like Irina, who wants to remove selfishness and corruptness from the world, but she wants people to be kind, generous, and caring for others.  Selfishness is not something that Kata will condemn, but she will greatly disapprove of people if they express selfishness around her.

- Gluttony :  This is one of the only problems that Kata has with Irina.  Irina eats far too much more than she actually needs, and although usually Kata wouldn`t mind about things so trivial as this, it has become a huge pet peeve for Kata after seeing her sister, Irina, gorge on food over and over again.  Kata has a tendency to conserve and save food whenever it is possible, and to be careful with how much she eats.  Even though Kata knows that it is because the two of them didn`t know when their next meal would be, she still always rolls her eyes whenever she sees Irina wiping her plate completely clean, asking for seconds and thirds, and eating everything that she is offered.  It`s not a bad thing to not be picky, but to Kata, there is definitely a difference between not being picky and eating way too much food.

- Knowledge:  Kata knows that knowledge is not the same thing as wisdom, but she believes that knowledge gives people the ability to act and think more clearly.  Selfishness and keeping of knowledge away from the general public is something that Kata does not appreciate.  She understands when it is best to keeps something private or under wraps, but she does not like it when people want to be private and secret about everything, things that are significant to people`s safety and will only cause harm if they are kept away.  Kata wants to learn about the world, and be free and help everything and everyone.

- Abandonment :  Kata is sort of like her sister in that she wants to minimize corruption in the world, but not by killing them of course.  Instead, Kata wants to rid the world of people who abandon others, and people who shirk their responsibility.  She doesn`t want to kill them, but she wants them to see justice and admit that they have committed wrongs.  Kata is not the kind of person who would administer justice on her own, but she is definitely the kind of person that will drag someone to court with her own two hands if she believes that they have done wrong.

- Darkness :  As a child, Kata was often unable to communicate with others, especially before her telepathy fully manifested and she was able to communicate.  She was often left out of the things that were happening around her, and she grew to be uncertain of everything and all her surroundings.  Darkness is a place that reminds Kata of this feeling, because she cannot see everything that is around her, despite the fact that she still retains the rest of her senses.  It also opposes the light, and so Kata yearns to fight this darkness with her angelic magic and remove it from the world, to purify everything and make it beautiful, bright, free, and happy.

Hair: Kata`s hair is a semi dark red, that definitely does not border on orange.  It sometimes appears to be dull, and she wears it with a mini widow`s peak part on the side, with messy bangs and hair framing her face.  Her hair, from the front, looks shorter and as though there is less than there actually is.
Eyes: Sparkling golden, and they convey a lot of emotion to the world.  Sometimes they appear to be paler gold.
Skin Tone: Light, but definitely not overly pale, with no freckles or beauty marks.
Appearance & Clothing: Kata often wears semi formal type dresses that are a bit (or more) too formal for wherever she is at the moment.  However, she also has a tendency to wear a school uniform type outfit that consists of a dark grey black vest with double gold buttons on each side, along with red necktie.  A semi short white skirt completes this outfit, and this is what Kata may often be seen in, which causes her to stand out since most people would not be wearing clothes like this.  She also wears high socks that reach almost to her knees, along with clunky type brown heeled shoes.
