Kids Are Scary[Mission]

Ironic…just freaking ironic. Raven thought as she found herself in Peace village getting anything BUT peace. To think that she woke up that morning with a beautiful dream of all you can eat buffet and found herself in a job where she was supposed to look after two kids AND haven’t gotten anything to eat made her want to whine much like one of the boys that is whiting at her at that moment just to go on another freaking ride that she was sure she had taken him to before.

Kuroe sighed for the nth time watching as Raven struggled to keep one of the boys at bay and sadly looked back to his wings that one of the boys were grabbing at before. “Little kids are scary,” he concluded as he remained up and out of their reach, leaving a small red eyed white haired girl to deal with them.

“I want to go on that ride!” Zack screamed back at Raven, their face merely centimeters apart as they both glared at each other. If looks could kill, they both would have dropped dead a long time ago. Chris was evaluating from a side just as Kuroe was looking at them from up a tree.

“For the last time, I’m telling you that you already went on that ride and I’m not wasting my time by going on that once again. They both looked like kids arguing for a favorite game..well one of them is a kid though the other one…in the eyes of many others that passed by them giving both weird glances seemed to think the same of the long haired girl as well.

“I want to go on that one and it’s final!” the boy finally yelled pointing at another ride. A merry go round as Raven recalled.

Raven watched with the eyes of a hawk at both Chris and Zack as they both rode in the merry go round. They were trouble with a capital t for all she knew, they could run again just like they did last time. It was really difficult to figure out who is who between them, Raven has figured as both of them seemed to play the same game without batting an eye lid. Honestly, if she didn’t have her ravens to assist her, she wouldn’t have found them both the last time they ran and pretended to be each other.

She looked up at Kuroe when something like a silver wrapper fell on her head. Kuroe was munching happily onto something she could tell and it made her want to squeeze the life out of her unsuspecting pet. When she looked back down at the merry go round…dun dun dunnn….guess what? The boys were gone!

“Dammit! Wait up, you brats!” Raven yelled, ignoring the numerous glances she got from the people around as she ran to catch up with Zack or Chris or anyone of them..who cares? She cried as she tried hard to keep up with the kid’s speed. They both knew some speed boosting magic, as far as she knew and that was exactly the problem. The only way she could catch up with that sort of speed was to use her wings though she was considering the possibilities of that in a crowded park like the one they were currently in.

Kuroe on the other hand was having the same problem as he tried to keep up with the other boy. “Why are kids…gah!” he complained as he flew closer to the running kid, getting a hold of his shirt’s back with his beak. None the less, Kuroe found himself being dragged along rather than stopping the kid.

“To hell with it!” Raven finally snapped as she decided to just dow hat she was already doing with the crowd. Ignore them. Spreading her wings in a long time felt amazing as Raven quickly took flight, catching up with the boy in less than second before scooping him away from the ground. He looked shocked as he held onto the ruby eyed girl for real life. ‘He is a kid after all’ Raven thought with a smile as she cradled him in her hands and flew off to find Kuroe.

Kuroe on the other side seemed to have had enough of being dragged along by a mere child as he too transformed into his bigger form to fly up, taking the kid off the ground as well. Much like his brother, he too was scared at first before he realized that Kuroe won’t drop him. “Raven! Here!” he called out for the approaching lady as he set the kid down on the ground next to a bench.

Raven sat with a sigh as she looked at the two kids from head to toe with a glare. At the end of the day, they still looked as if they were perfect little angels. She wondered if they were going to do the same to the next person that takes them out. Poor them, she thought as she sighed once again. Next to her Kuroe sat with a scary expression on his face as well. He was probably promising himself that he would never go near another kid again. After all, kids are scary…

Raven took both of their hands as she stood up, noticing that it is time for their mother to get back. She was glad that she would finally be rid of the two troublemakers. “Hiii! Thank you for taking care of my kids,” she heard as she found Mrs Alice stalking over to them with a big grin. How does this woman take care of them? Kids are scary…
