Living with the Shadows [Final Topic] (Private)

Yuuto contained the little possessions he had from all of his times in Fiore. They were packed in a bag carelessly, which was held over his shoulder. Most of the possessions consisted of his attire, while the rest was an extreme amount of jewels he had earned by slaughtering the innocent, and rarely defeating threats amongst various areas. Generally, the rewards were earned solely from death. However, despite this wealth, there was still something missing; a true lifestyle. Yuuto could no longer understand what it meant to be a Mage in guilds, or somewhere in between. Lamia Scale supposedly promised him joy and accompaniment, though in the end, all Yuuto received was a threat via a sword near his throat. Many who he thought he had potential with failed him, which ultimately led to insanity. Yuuto thought there was nothing to be sane about if you were just going to be betrayed in the end. Yuuto once gave guilds another shot by attending Tartarus; the guild responsible for the stories of Acnologia. His arrival was unfortunate, however, as all the members wanted to do was free a fellow mate. Again, when Yuuto attempted to place his opinion on a matter, the group despised him, and turned their backs on him. This is what made Yuuto leave another guild, and promise never to join another one again.

Whilst Yuuto thought he had finally seen a sign of freedom- freedom of expression- in Talonia, the land of the guildless, he was proved wrong. Talonia was a valley of ashes; run-down, unprofitable, scarcely populated, and dull in every manner possible. Talonia was a place that could be demolished at any given moment for something better, and had nothing to provide for the poor Mage. As clear as Yuuto thought he was with time, and his godlike memory, he was misled. Everything had gone wrong for him, and caused him to become figuratively lifeless. He needed to find somewhere else to reside, somewhere far away from these Mage-inhabited areas. Yuuto needed to find a place that would be difficult to destroy, and beneficial in numerous ways. Yuuto needed his formal life back; the life full of wealth, and satisfaction. The young man pondered thoughts endlessly as he proceeded further and further down this endless hallway. "You may be endless, but once I walk far enough away, I will break a wall and find my peace." Yuuto threatened. He was desperate for a new life, and a new place to call home. No longer could he stand the hell of Fiore, but rather the ideal outskirts, where Yuuto could forever live in the shadows. He was an enigma, after all.
