    Job:
    Spoiler:

He had taken another job in Magnolia that probably was going to be like all of the rest with involving him doing mundane tasks that somehow get out of control. He rubbed the top of his head where a lump was from the last time he had dealt with children during a job. The last time it was only for a short time and it ended on a good note which he obviously wanted this one to do the same on but from the note left for the job it didn't seem like it would be that easy at all.

He arrived at the home described and started to walk towards the door only to stop in his tracks as the door flung open and a woman and a man came rushing out from it. The woman was carrying a baby bag that was decorated in a cartoon character that was popular with the kids. "Uhh.. Hello..?"

"Thank the heavens you are here. We have been needing this time away for awhile now." She held the bag out to Cirven while the man nodded to him and went to the car. Both of them seemed like they were in a rush to leave.

"In this bag is everything you should need to help watch our little bundle of joy." She didn't even smile as she called her son the name which kind of bothered Cirven. "If you need anything you can use our phone inside to call us. Our number is written near the phone." She moved the bag closer to him and he took it but somewhat didn't want to.

She then rushed to the car and got in. "We already said our goodbyes to him so have fun." Before he could respond the car drove off and left him in front of the house with a child he didn't even know fully what to expect from yet.

He walked into the house with the bag draped over his shoulder to see the small boy holding himself up at the windowsill with a pacifier in his mouth. He figured the boy had watched his parents leave and watched Cirven arrive. "Hey, little guy. Nathan is your name, right?" He remembered seeing the name in the post for the job.

The child moved from the windowsill and to him. Once in front of him he lifted up his arms to be picked up so he lifted him up into his hands. "We are going to have a good time with no crazy stuff, right?" He sounded high pitched and lively as he spoke to which the child gave a nod.

After some time of watching the child playing with his toys, Cirven would go and watch the TV from a patched up couch near by. Before he sat down he was place his sword, the Kukan next to him just off the arm of the chair. The boy crawled over and grew curious with the sword. The child noticed it earlier but was smart enough to not try to react to it then and wait for his opportune time.

While Cirven was too busy laughing at the flashing screen the child slowly moved the sheathed blade from where it leaned on the arm and onto the ground in front of him. He then used what strength he had to slide the sword out of the sheath slowly while it laid on the ground.

Cirven had a feeling that something wasn't right and looked over to see his sword was missing along with the child. He looked to the other side of the couch and back in time to see the Kukan's blade coming down at him. He jumped back on the couch in fear as the blade stopped at the arm and cut through a little.

"Whoa! What are you doing!?" He jumped up from the couch to see that no one was on the other side of the blade.

He cautiously moved to his sword and sheathed it quickly then put it back on his side. "Nathan...? Where'd you go buddy..?" He looked around the area of the couch but couldn't find him.

He made his way to where Nathan's toys were but there was still no sign of the child. He then heard a sound in the kitchen and quickly moved into it where a knife slammed into the wall near him and stuck into it. Cirven looked at the knife and then ahead of himself to see the child somehow up on the counter with the knife holder spilled over and each of the blades laying out. He ran to Nathan and picked him up before he could touch anymore of the other knives. "First thing, bad Nathan. You don't play with knives. Second thing, where did you learn to throw like that?!"

The child seemed to not really listen because he used the pacifier in his mouth as a weapon and spit it into Cirven's eye which caused him to drop the child and clench at his eye in pain. When he regained his sight he had lost track of the child again. "OK. Starting to get annoyed here.."

He moved into the a hallway which connected the rooms to the kitchen. He looked in the nearest room to see that the boy had found his way into some sort of office room it looked from how everything looked to be shuffled around. He walked inside and then looked to his right to see that the child had been waiting and held a gun in his hands.

"Where the..!?" Before he could fully speak the child pulled the trigger and shot at him causing a wet paper ball to slam into his other eye. He then clenched at it too but managed to keep his other eye open this time. "Nice shot but its not gon.." The child shot again before he could finish and hit his other eye. "How the hell did you get this good with aiming at such a young age!?" He spoke out and tried to grab the wall near him but in his temporary blindness missed it and fell through the doorway instead.

He hit his head on one of the sides of the doorway and became dazed from it. The child crawled over still holding the gun and continued shooting it at Cirven face over and over. Cirven covered his face with one hand and reached out to touch the boy with the other problem was he still was dazed so the boy dropped the gun and crawled away. Once he realized that the boy was gone again, he regained his composure and tried to find where the boy went.

This lead him back to the living room again where he found the boy had fallen over asleep on the floor. Cirven looked on at the boy amazed of everything Nathan just did to him just to fall asleep like that.

Before he could move towards the child the front door opened up and Nathan's parents walked into the house. "Oh! Would you look at that. Nathan is fast asleep." The woman then pulled out some money from her purse and rewarded Cirven. "Thank you for all your help. We have it from here now."

Cirven nodded to her and to her husband almost in the same fashion that the husband had nodded to him earlier. Once outside of the house and the door shut he heard a voice. "What happened to the couch?!"

Cirven didn't wait and just ran from the house before he had to deal with anymore of the craziness.
