The excitement aroused and the crowd gathered almost like ants before winter around Marielle Sky as the dorm caretaker handed her the most eccentric envelope she had ever seen. The wrapping was pink, subtly defining the Red House’s color yet bearing all emblems of the four historical houses. A smell also came from the package, greatly resembling freshly picked flowers as it permeated the air beating even the most expensive nose hurting perfumes. On the middle was the seal of the principal, a greatly designed symbol that was a clever combination of the Sky’s family crest and that of the school.
“Wow!” The five female first years looked at Marielle in awe, including young Coco, who was then but ten years old. “A letter from the principal. I heard you only get those if you greatly excel in stuff”
Upper years glared at Marielle as they passed the crowd, beyond their lady like whispers, they scorned with envy and disgust.
“It’s normal Coco” Marielle said trying to dismiss the eyes that were on her. “The principal’s a Sky, plus he’s my direct uncle”
“But still!!” Coco protested but could not say anything against what Marielle had said.
Suddenly, the crowd began to disperse. Both Coco and Marielle were left confused. At first, they thought it was because of what Marielle had said but through the rustling red house students they saw a familiar figure of a girl who had perfected the art of being a lady. Who, beyond all the noble girls in the room appeared to have authority that could equal the queen. She had no magic in her veins but would only take one word to make anyone follow.
