Re: Find the Ring!
Haruhi looked at the job postings for her guild. Very little seemed interesting to her. A couple raid jobs and yet another babysitting one. These all bored her. She leaned back in her chair and gazed up at the ceiling.
"Bored, bored, bored, bored, bored, bored, bored.!" She yelled.
"Why don't cha go out and relax a little?" she heard. "You've been working your butt off recently. Ain't it time for you to relax."
Haruhi threw her head back again and thought about it. "Relax... hmmm. I'm not sure. I could probably do that."
"Why not make you're way down to the river? I'm sure it's beautiful." The man suggested.
Haruhi spent more time thinking about it. "I got it!" She yelled. "I'm going to go to the river! Should be beautiful there, don't you think?" She asked the man completely unaware this was his exact recommendation.
"Just get out of here little brat. Go enjoy the day. You deserve it."

Re: Find the Ring!
Haruhi threw on her best shorts and tank top as she readied herself for the river. She made a lunch for herself, Peanut butter and jelly sandwich of course, and took along a couple books she thought she might enjoy. She stepped outside the guild hall and made her way down the road toward the river.
"This is weird." Haruhi said. "I haven't had a day off in quite awhile." She looked over the small ledge and saw the river beach just below her. She ran toward the water aas fast as she could. Without noticing, she kicked a huge log buried mostly by the sand. It sent a wave of pain rushing through her entire body. Haruhi fell to the sand. She grabbed her pain filled fot and screamed into the sky. "AHHHHH! GOD WHY!!!!?" Haruhi continued to roll around on the ground crying about her foot. Haruhi, whilst not paying attention, fell into the river and started floating down stream.

Re: Find the Ring!
Haruhi was frantic! Normally a great swimmer, she was not able to keep her head afloat with a wrecked foot. She started bobbing and splashing. As her head went underwater yet again she felt a smooth hand grab hers. She hadn't noticed but she was being pulled into a small boat that was floating down river. She was finally safe from the current and sitting surprised on the floor of the boat. She started to cough up water that had made it down her windpipe.
"Oh my gosh, darling. Are you okay?" Haruhi heard
"Yeah, yeah, yes I'm fine. Thank you." Haruhi replied. "I'm Haruhi. Who are you?"
"My names Emy." The girl smiled.
"Well thank you for saving me, but I better be making my way back." She said.
Haruhi, in all of her brilliance, jumped out of the boat and started sinking again. Once again, Emy pulled Haruhi into the boat.
"You saved me again!" She screamed.
"Well, will you stop doing that please?" She asked. "And, if I may, can you help me find something. I lost my engagement ring around the river here. I could really use some help. Maybe...in exchange for pulling you in?"

Re: Find the Ring!
Haruhi thought about it. She didn't want to help this woman, but her curiosity if she would be rewarded got the better of her.
"Of course I will!" Haruhi said with huge smile. "Are you sure it is around here?"
"Yes, It fell off as I was traveling down the river. I threw anchor right when I noticed it was gone. So it has to be around this area of the river."
Haruhi knew this lady wouldn't be able to find it alone, but she couldn't swim in the river. "Can you take me to shore?" Haruhi asked?
They made their way to the shore. Haruhi hobbled over to a section up stream and struck the small cliffside. Her magic caused rocks and debris to block the river creating somthing of a dam. The river over flowed and started filling the dry bed down the hill. Haruhi then jumped into the air and screamed. "Crash Slap!" She slammed both hands onthe the remaining flowing water. The watter started expanding and vaporized into a surrounding mist almost instantly. The river had been cleared.

Re: Find the Ring!
With the river being cleared now Haruhi and Emy began the search for her ring.
"So you said an engagement ring, right?" Haruhi asked in a curious tone.
"Haha, yeah it is. Quite recently actually." Emy responded.
"How recent?" Haruhi said.
"About four hours ago......." Emy said horribly embarrassed.
"You lost the ring already!?" Haruhi screamed.
"Yeah it was a mistake though. I was heading to visit family and it just happened."
Disregarding her remarks Haruhi continued to flip rocks and spread sediment looking for the ring. They spent several hours looking for it.
"I honestly don't think we can find it before the sun rests, Emy."
You could see a sad and cruel look of anxiety dictate over Emys face. She knew her fiance would be furious to find out she had lost the ring the day it was presented to her. Haruhi sat next to Emy. Slowly patting her shoulder two or three times Haruhi whispered "There there."

Re: Find the Ring!
Haruhi, very impressed by her ability to calm saddened people, looks up to the other side of the river bed. She see's a small white bunny with pink eyes and a flower at the base of it's ear. One of the most adorable things she has seen. She looks closer and see's a slight glimmer in it's mouth.
"Emy, see that rabbit? What does it have in it's mouth?" She asked.
Emy, without hesitating, screams "My ring!"
The small rabbit had her ring in her mouth. Haruhi, having rested some, was able to use her foot in a near normal manner. She jumped up and sprinted toward the rabbit. She, embarrassingly, chased the rabbit around the river bed. Every misstep she made, the rabbit would throw it's head back and laugh. Haruhi, not liking the fact she was being made a fool of by a rabbit, lunged toward the rabbit, grabbed it and leaped into the air. "Heaven's Crash!" She screamed. Falling back to the ground and driving the bunny into a giant pool mud. The rabbit, passed out by Haruhi's attack, dropped the ring. Haruhi picked it up and made her way back to Emy.

Re: Find the Ring!
Although upset she had to use one of her best spells on a mere bunny, Haruhi was happy she found the ring. She made her way back to Emy. Emy had a giant smile on her face and tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Thank you so much, Haruhi. I don't know how I ever could repay you." She said.
I think I know how you could. Haruhi thought to herself.
They looked up and saw a small cart coming down the path next to the river. Emy leaped up and ran to the gentleman getting out. It was her fiance. Embraced, they made their way back down to Haruhi near the dam.
"My fiance told me everything, little one. I, honestly, would have been overwhelmingly upset if that ring had been lost for good. So you have my greatest thanks." The man said to Haruhi.
Haruhi was bored at this point. Emy reached into her pocket and handed Haruhi a small bag.
"It's not much, but thank you for the help." Emy said.
Haruhi looked into the bag and saw 500 jewels. She was so happy that they were willing to reward her for her help. She didn't like this feeling. Haruhi saw that Emy's hand was still on the bag. Without hesitation Haruhi slipped the ring off of Emy's hand and turned to the dam she had created. "Crash Slap!" She screamed. The rocks and timber tumbled and a wave hit the lovely couple and started to carry them down stream. Haruhi, without thinking what she done was horrible, laughed and skipped back to her spot on the beach. Loading up her belonging, Haruhi tried the ring on.
"Yes, this really is beautiful, isn't it."
