Don't Sniff Suspicious Flowers

Lina was walking through the streets aboard the ship on a bright summers day, the ship was moving like it always was. She could feel a hot breeze blowing against her right side, she grunted in annoyance. "its so hot.." she grumbled. making it to a park filled with grass and tree's. she sighed to her relief, avoiding the sun as much as possible as she made her way under the biggest tree in the park, the shade was huge. Also provided tremendous cooling to the hot sun, she sat against the trunk and began to shut her eyes, until she heard something to her right. looking down, she saw a small dark blue flower bud popping out of the ground. "I swear that wasn't there before.." she said to herself looking down at it curiously.

she sat on her knees and eyed the flower bud suspiciously, then she reached out her hand and touched its blue shut petals, she gasped a little as it opened up, the deep blue of its long petals making her draw nearer to it. She took in a deep breath, the pollen from the flower going up her nose. then the flower shut itself shut, and went into the ground. like it was never there. She then stood and looked around, her eyes turning an extremely dark shade of blue. like a deep ocean, she then began to walk around, until she reached the very front of the ship railing, seeing a vast ocean below her. wanting to jump.

Raising an arm up to block the bright sun, Arianna gave a slight groan of displeasure. "Why is it always so damn hot up here..." Pulling up the hood of her cloak, she pressed on, heading towards her new guild. Arianna had joined the guild no more than a week ago, and she wasn't all the impressed with guilds; although, the money she could make off these jobs were definitely a comforting reason to keep with the guild. The only problem she had with guilds was the fact that there were so many other people. She couldn't stand putting up with it.

Speaking of guild members, as Arianna attempted to mind her own business, she happened to spot someone she thought she had seen in the guild halls over the last few days. A young girl with long silver hair was standing at the edge of the ship, looking down at the water below. It made Arianna stop in her tracks as she wondered what in the world she was doing, leaning over the edge so dangerously. Sighing, Arianna forced herself to abandon her current plans.

Quickly finding her way down, Arianna grabbed the girl by the collar of her shirt. With a swift pull, she pulled the girl away from the ledge. "Stay away from the ledge... I'm not your babysitter, got it?" Arianna's voice was cold and harsh. She wasn't in the mood for someone being an idiot.

Yuna was in her office in the midsts of jotting down some notes. In a few minutes, she would go back to the garden and check the strange seed she had found. So far, she had seen no signs of it. "Flowers don't grow in a day..." she reminded herself as she continued to write furiously in her book. Still, she excited to see how the misty blue seed was doing. Outside of the air conditioned office, the day was unbearably hot, even for her. Even the breeze that blew softly seemed to raise the already hot temperature by a few degrees. Yuna looped back towards the office, grabbed an icy cold water bottle of water, and headed back towards the garden. She went under the shade of the largest tree to where she had planted the seed. She began to jot down notes when suddenly the strange, blue flower popped up. As Lina had done before her, the repetition of events occured except that this time, Yuna was not at all affected. Her bright green eyes darked for a split second before returning to its normal appearance. Happily, she finished her notes as the flower popped.back.into the ground. Yuna closed her book and was heading back to the office when she spotted Lina leaning dangerously over the railing. "L-Lina..?" she asked unsure of what to do. At that moment, a new recruit came to Lina's aid. Still, Yuna neared them just in case. "Um... A-Are you alright..?" she asked them worriedly. "W-What happened..?"

Lina turned around to face the girl who took her off the ledge, her eyes were shadowed by her hair. But what she did was completely unexpected, she swung a punch at the girls face, knocking her over. "Let me be" she looked down at her with her shadowed eyes, then over at Yuna, her face had a blank expression along with a blank tone of voice, she turned back to the ledge, going over and standing on top of it. looking down at the vast ocean miles below. "such a hot day.." she said quietly to herself, as she fell off the edge of the balcony. flying though the air, diving into the water.
