((OOC: Sorry IQ, I waited as long as I could :( ))
Alexei watched as his partners-in-unconsciousness began to wake up, and doubles of them began to appear. What in the world was this? It was almost like a mirror world. And if it was a mirror world, where was his double? Something didn't sit right here. Maybe Blane would know-
Panic set in as Alexei made a realization: His bag was gone. Not only was that his food source, but it also contained all of his belongings that weren't clothes; without that, he lost Blane, as well as some of his most prized possessions. This was bad. He sat up frantically, looking for something, anything, that could be hiding his bag; As he tried to run around to search for it, however, he made another realization. His powers were being dampened somehow; no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't muster up the magic to use any of his spells. What the hell was going on? Why wasn't anything working?
Somehow, his gaze fell on the blonde girl again. She was still hiding, watching, but Alexei felt a strange sensation from her. Was she the one who had trapped them? Alexei intended to find out. Standing up, he made a dash towards the barn; he got some odd looks from people, but nobody stopped him as he made his way. Running directly up to the girl, he spoke, his tone dripping with venom: "What did you do?"
--
Alexandra didn't know what had happened. One of the members of the group had stood up and ran straight for her, malice in his eyes; he had run straight up to her, his eyes unsettling her with their determination compared to his small stature, and her heart skipped a beat when he growled, "What did you do?"
"What did I do?" Alexandra shot back. "More like, what did you do?! You fall out of the sky as mirror images of some of my friends, and you have the gall to ask me what I did?!"
"...Out of the sky?" The boy responded, his tone much less harsh. "That doesn't make any sense."
"Well, none of this situation does," Alexandra responded, "but it doesn't change the fact that you're blaming me for it! Why did you blame me, anyway?"
"Because you don't have a duplicate there," the boy pointed out to her. Alexandra pondered that for a moment; true, she wasn't a physical duplicate of anybody there, but it was entirely possible that she was a mental duplicate. Maybe if-
"Do you have a bag?"
Alexandra was shocked out of her pondering by the boy's sudden question. "I do have a bag," she responded, motioning to her giant purse. "What about it?"
"Not that one," the boy said, "A different one. Mostly black."
A smile dawned on Alexandra's face as she realized what he was talking about. "You mean this one?" She said, pulling out the bag she had found. The boy's eyes widened, then narrowed considerably. "Give it back," he said, again unnerving Alexandra with his seriousness.
"I don't think so," Alexandra responded, placing it back in her bag. "You blame me for this situation, then you expect me to give this back to you like that? No thanks. However," she said, her smile growing wider, "If you do something for me, I'll give it back."
There was silence for a moment before the boy spoke again. "What do I have to do?" He asked softly.
"Oh, you'll find out," Alexandra said lightly. "Come into the barn, I'll show you." She pushed the boy into the barn, her smile growing ever wider.
