Newcomer's Arrival [Public/Open To All SS Members]

Utter, enigmatic darkness took over the Earthland as the pure and humble moon floated high in the sky and took its throne. The arid weather coincided the absolute darkness and ejected miniture bullets of water at the ground, known to everyone as rain. Daichi was having difficulty trying to get through the Spooky Forest due to the natural obstacles and the complicated structure of the plants and trees. Daichi's night vision helped him to notice the twigs and roots sticking out of the humin ground. Finally, he observed an empty land space a few steps ahead of him and rushed towards it.
A monumental, corrupted dark builidng appeared as it was hiding in the shadows of the darkness from human eyes. The colossal, nefarious structure had a large guild sign displayed above the entrance doors associated with the guild's name, "Savage Skull". "It looks quite dreadful...I like it," Daichi grinned at the sight of the abomination and horror which was fulfilling the sides of the buildings, intriguing Daichi's curiosity.
The arduous rainfall was soaking Daichi's clothing, moistening his indigo hair as it matched the guild's colour.
He walked up to the antediluvian, fragile door and laboriously pulled the handle to open the door and reveal what is hidden inside the guild. After converying his eyes with the inside of the guild Daichi suddenly thought to himself, "After seeing this - I definitely started to believe in love from the first sight." Daichi didn't observe any members anywhere around him so he slithered towards the board with announcements and guild information, including the Pillars of the guild and its members. "Pillar of Shifting Sands sounds sooo good..no I mean sooo bad," he mumbled under his breath and giggled as his giggle broke the dead silence in the hall.

Kaseki emerged from the hallway. He was draped in attire, he wore his favorite outfit.. the shadows.

Kaseki never really found it pleasing to lounge around the guild, there was no fun in that. And in that particular event, he only had one friend in Savage Skull. His friend was Shikamaru.

"I don't recommend you choose based on names." said the shadow. "Perhaps you should know your master first... you might get stuck with a weakling." Kaseki walked into the small pieces of light that seemed to fall in the darkest guild in Fiore. He crossed his arms as he stood aside the man. "I was once in the Pillar of the Dancing Blades, Harrigan found it more fitting I join the Pillar of Decay." he pointed to the names. "Each Pillar has a role, my friend, each pillar has a role." When Kaseki finally turned to the man he smiled, "The name is Kaseki, The Demon of Life. However most people call me Plant man, or in the case of Sinali, 'toy'. Welcome friend perhaps we can cause havoc together in the near future."

Kaseki was by far the most different in Savage Skull. In a simple sense, he was the black sheep of the guild. Kaseki only was allowed to stay because of the demon that resided in his soul, Kodai. It was that demon that caused him to leave his family behind. It was that demon that caused him to leave Lamia Scale. It was that demon that Savage Skull wanted.

Daichi seen a suspicious bundle of plants and organs in a structure of a tree, veiling under a cape. He had never sen a demon fire and even now he was having difficulty to see clearly what is hiding under the cape. He quickly observed Kaseki from head to toes and then smiled back at him. "I need to make comrades if I want to stay or even join this guild," Daichi thought to himself as he was analysing the information gathered through Kaseki's words. Kaseki looked rather friendly to be a demon as he presented himself as being, or it just the deceiving first impression and he actually is a monstrous, sadistic demon which loves bring pain to people's lives, filling them up with martyrdom and torture.
"You're the first pers-, demon-demon I met here, maybe you could help me around here?!" Daichi asked with a slight hint that he needs guidance around the guild. Daichi never like to depend on someone - especially a stranger like I this case although he didn't like to think of his future comrades like that. Fulfilled with confidence that he will possess the guilds tattoo for a long time, he confidently announced:, "I'm Daichi Rin, a dark swordsman, fulfilled with lust for revenge and creating chaos in the Earthland. I'll be more than happy to evoke calamity and mayhem on the streets of Fiore and the rest of the world," Daichi replied to Kaseki's invite to cause some havoc as he was ready to step outside and destroy everything on his way but he knew that he had to get stronger first before accomplishing his mission of implying terror and horror in people's lives.

"Well that's one hell of an introduction." Kaseki said, "A small tip, watch your tongue around the others. They will kindly take in everything about you and use you against your will. This is Savage Skull, this isn't really a 'guild'. You have no friends here, trust me, everyone is here for the power..." Kaseki couldn't believe what he was saying. It was as if the guild was starting to change him... "... everyone but me."

Kaseki began to be the chaos he created long ago in the spooky forest, and the long trail of blood that he made all the way to his last guild, Lamia Scale. Kaseki had worked so hard to be accepted as a being in Fiore, and here he stood in the guild of insanity. Kaseki never really belonged anywhere. No where would be truly be accepted.

"You may believe what I am saying is a lie, but in time you will find truth to my words. While you're here, under the name of Savage Skull or not, you are alone."

OOC: Kaseki's Appearance from his character sheet: "Special Characteristics: Kaseki is a hybrid of a Demon Swamp Spirit and a Metallic Wolf Demon. Because of this, his genetic make up is that of a metal tree, with the organs of the wolf. Kaseki has fangs of the wolf, and his body is a mix of various plants."

ALSO, blue is really hard to read. Mind using a lighter shade?

Startled by Kaseki's words concerning comrades and the "guild" itself Daichi began to love this guild even more by ever second that went by as he was stood in the magnificent hall. "Power? No friends? People use each other? I'm going to love to this game," Daichi replied as he began to comically laugh, excitement and avidity immediately taking over his mind and soul. Although he was shattered by the fact that people will use your past against you in order to gain power in which he wasn't particularly interested in, his psycho-a-like personality trapped his mind with eagerness and adrenaline in the same room, causing him to fall into a hysterical laugh.

"According to him, he is different from everyone else...but can I trust him? Or have I already fallen into his deceiving trap and he's controlling me this very second?" Daichi thought to himself as he fell into an agitation inside of his mind and tentatively guarded up.

Loneliness and isolation once fulfilled and obstructed Daichi's life as he was expelled from his clan for murdering a mouthy guy who deserved a slow and agonising death, but Daichi felt merciful on the day of his first murder. The path of blood that followed his footsteps from the clan into the wild world compelled him to spill more human blood as he began killing people for jewels. At Savage Skull he was hoping to find someone who would share their lust for blood and love for havoc with him.

"I can trust this guy" Daichi made a decision in his mind as he said: "And why are you different from everyone else in this guild?"

Kaseki remembered his most recent murder... the thing that that demon, Kodai made him do. "I'm no better than anyone else here. Even if they never accept me... this is where I belong," he thought, "They made me into this... monster."

Kaseki heard the words of the other man, "And why are you different from everyone else in this guild?" He began to scream internally. Kaseki was far from being human anymore, as as far as this guild... he was was most kindhearted.

"What makes me different? The difference is that I never killed anyone. I never kidnapped. I never destroyed anything. The only crime I ever commit was theft of 'The Gift of Water' from when I was a child, and that was over 2 millenniums ago." Kaseki began to let his flood of thoughts race into his head. He remembered the girl he once loved, and still loved. She was the reason Kaseki gave up so much. "I'm here because of Kodai, he's the murderer, the trickster, the killer, the demon. Kodai is what I have become identified with. Kodai is sealed within my own soul... Kodai was... me."

Kaseki's past never left him, it was as if it always caught up to him and tortured him. There was never any use of running... Kaseki belonged no where.

Daichi meticulously listened to his new friend...comrade rather and his reply regarding his question. He was startled by his answer as he couldn't believe how old Kaseki actually was. "To be honest I don't even know how long that is.." Daichi thought to himself as he giggled under his breath but thenhis emotions on the face sharply vanished as he turned acute and severe. Kaseki's story forced Daichi to remember the nostalgia even more of how he killed his first victim and lost control for a short period whilst committing the unforgivable.

Daichi had a blank section in his history where he could only remember the beginning of the duel and the end when Daichi became conscious again. His hands full of blood, rain pouring down above Daichi - washing the blood away but unfortunately the rain couldn't wash his guilt away.
"I understand you and perhaps we could combine our abilities to become stronger and feed our lust for blood to a point where it won't affect us anymore," Daichi offered Kaseki as a grin appeared on his pale face.

"...to become stronger and feed our lust for blood to a point where it won't affect us anymore." That is what got Kaseki's attention. He could see himself fighting alongside this man, whoever he was or used to be. "Maybe then Kodai would be at peace." he thought.

Kaseki looked at the man's smile. There was something odd about him, yet he remained to be true. Or at least so it seemed. "Perhaps when Father Harrigan arrives we can get you situated into a pillar. Maybe after, together, we can go out and cause some... trouble." Kaseki smiled.

OOC: Sorry for the short post

Daichi seen how compassionate and altered Kaseki got at the words spoked by Daichi through Kaseki's eyes as they were full of affection and passion. Although Daichi never used to be good with words and expressing his true feelings, somehow he seemed to fill Kaseki's mind with fog as he thought: "Did I confuse him? Or scare him away? Or perhaps I persuade him to join me?"

He was amazed by their similarity and analogy, forcing him to brake a pure, truthful smile on his face. Daichi hated to smile as that made him look friendly and kind, at least that's what his father told him but he was erased from Daichi's life a long time ago. Daichi became eager to begin causing destruction and corruption as a duo.

"Sure, I'll wait for Father Harrigan to return and hopefully he'll let me join the Pillar of Shifting Sands, whilst we're waiting for him, mind displaying your skis and abilities on a quick mission?" Daichi asked with a childish sneer on his face, daring Kaseki to expose his spells to Daichi.

Kaseki begun to laugh, "If you ever call Harrigan Father he will surely kill you. He only allows me to do so... on occasion." he said, "The Pillar of Sands is the chore pillar... but I am up for the mission."

Kaseki looked at his hands. "I shalln't surprise you, my magic is that of the oceans. I control water and ice." Kaseki smiled at the thought. "With these same hands I killed a member of Nox Animus," he thought to himself. "I wonder if he would react the same to the demon... the destroyer.."

Kaseki began to take steps away from the board and back into the shadows. He thought about the death he brought to Fiore. "I will be here when you need me. Forgive me, I must go... I have things to attend to."

And the shadows seemed to swallow Kaseki once more.

Daichi was shattered by Kaseki's deceiving little trap, referring to Harrigan as "Father Harrigan" but he sanctioned it as a small joke between him and his new comrade. "I really should be more considerate and discreet in regards of what to believe and what to not" Daichi corrected his gullible and dull personality which could lead him to death in this guild according to the demon.

"Water and ice..?" Daichi gallantly and prudently thought to himself as he realised that he has never come across a mage who was capable of controlling water and ice at the same time, as well as just a water mage on its own. He couldn't imagine what kind of destructive and afflicted abilities and spells Kaseki could possess in his artillery. Rumours which carried a huge amount of false and true informations during Daichi's life in the wild told him about the power and strength the ice and water mages possess, especially water ones.

Daichi excuses Kaseki as he clearly showed that he needs to go, emphasising on the word "things" and causing Daichi to fill his mind up with all sorts of maniacal and violent things that Kaseki could refer to as an evil grin appeared on Daichi's face. He seen the demon vanish in the shadows that were veiling from the true calamity of the guild in the corners.

Daichi remained standing in front of the board, staring at the guild information with eagerness to confront another member of the Savage Skull.

'And...? Read anything interesting?'

The clear voice of a man was to be heard right behind Daichi, a voice that was gallant and smooth yet filled pride. A voice so conceited to that you could almost feel it. It came from Harrigan, who had made his way down stairs from his office to the guild hall. Only to encounter a fresh face in the guild's midsts.

To Harrigan this could only mean two things, one a unlucky traveler that lost himself in the spooky forests and somehow managed to survive and eventually came upon the Savage Skull guildhall. Or two a promising new member that was ready to join the guild's ranks.
And since it was highly unlikely that some random merchant would survive the forest to eventually decide to reluctantly enter this hall it had to be someone of power. Someone with the ability to survive the dark woods and the marshes that surrounded the guild. Someone who wanted to join this place.

If Daichi would turn around or even slightly turn his head towards the source of the voice, he would see Harrigan that stood only a few steps away from his left shoulder. Wearing a velvet red suit that seemed to fit him perfectly. His hair was combed backwards and hold together by some aromatic oil. It's face was the exact representation of his voice, as it had a conceited smile that seemed to enjoy the physical suffering of others.

Daichi was staggered by such a splendid, valiant voice as it reached his ears, causing his skin to cover in goosebumps. The voice on its own carried an phenomenal amount of prodigious energy which at first perturbed Daichi as he has never sophisticated and experienced such calamitous and pernicious energy around him.

For a moment, Daichi froze and was scared to turn around and see who was the wielder of such a cataclysmic power. There weren't many things that Daichi was scared off and it turned out that this was to be one of them.

Eventually, Daichi turned his head to the right of him but seen no-one although he could have sworn that the voice protracted from that side - pulling his soul out of his body and replacing it with corruption and calamity.

Then, he calmly turned his head back to the left, where he found a man arorund 40-years-old, covered in an elegant, grand velvet suit.

"Who is he.." even his thoughts were trembling inside of his mind as he replied:"I'm Daichi...Daichi Rin, the newcomer. I've heard a lot about this guild's superior power but I couldn't have imagined it to be on such a high level. May I know who You are?" Daichi responded respectively.

On Harrigan's face appeared a small smile, showing that he appreciated the young man's manners and attitude. Unlike some others that walked around here Daichi showed Harrigan some restraint, instead of the bloodlust and carnage that others seem to carry as the clothes on their back. No, this man was someone to Harrigan's liking. Respect to those that were higher up in the hierarchy, sincere and someone who knew what he wanted.

'Nice to make your acquaintance mister Rin, I am Harrigan Crawford. Lord and ruler over the Spooky Forest and Master of Savage Skull.'
