Personality:

Pain, wielding no real name and probably had long forgotten about it, is a mysterious man with a dark background, known only by those who involve themselves with the underworld. He can be rarely seen on regular occasion, only appearing before the eye of the people when there is need or in certain events. Because of this, it is only known that he is not a talkative person, rather quiet. He keeps his mouth shut, only speaking when there’s need to. It is because of this nature of him that Pain holds many secrets in him, and not anyone would bother asking him upon knowing about his actual quietness. And remarkably, this apparent quietness of his helps a lot in keeping himself stealthy while spying or doing something related.

Aside than that, Pain is also a patient man, in contrast to the usually short-tempered nature of villains. It is very rare to see him bending his eyebrows in anger, and he is never seen showing any signs of temper or rage. Also, Pain does not have a smile to carve with his lips, always showing no expression, not even a frown. Because of this, he is unpredictable, and he is a bit frightening, as his actions and his emotions at a time can not be read.

In a battle, Pain is shown to be a good manipulator, using the other people that are on his side as a tool in fights. He is never seen to be acting first, always watching from afar, study his enemy first, before getting the job done on his own. Pain is cunning, planning tricks on his enemy to easily take the upper hand in battles. This also comes from Pain’s slyness and great wisdom of what needs to be done in a battle. Therefore, it can also be said that Pain will never come out in a fight unless there’s a reason for him to believe that he has the upper hand.

Pain is sadistic, not known to be a good sympathetic man. Always finishing his enemy, Pain does not regard, or treat anyone special, regardless of their sides. He treats his enemies and allies the same, but the difference can be seen on how he treats his allies slightly better, but only to kill the doubts in the people, usually referred to as allies, about him. Pain lives to instill fear in his enemies, therefore showing his darkest nature in front of those who oppose him. Having a goal of his own in life, Pain tends to get rid of anyone who dares to go against him.

Pain strictly lives based on his self created live ambition, which is to attain the greatest power, thus leading the people of the world to fear him. He knows that there will be people that will try to stop him, therefore he does his best to devise plans that would fail those kind of people from interrupting with his self proclaimed pure ambition. And to do so, again his cunningness and slyness helps him a lot, and can be proven by each time he survives a raid on him.

Likes:

- Pain : He likes teaching people the real meaning of pain, as he considers pain one’s greatest teacher. As people would gradually fear pain itself, Pain tends to make people feel pain, as it helps them to learn how to really fear a fear.

- Power : Gaining more powers means instilling greater fear in the people, so he strives to gain more and more powers. By gaining more powers, people will start looking at him as a great threat, and so, fear into the people can be instilled.

- Idiots : More idiots means more tools to use. Every time Pain finds one, he will try his best to turn them into mere tools. This is because, clueless fools won’t possibly have any idea of what the outcome of their doings, or even, which side would their doings benefit.

Dislikes:

- Traitors : Pain hates traitors, regardless if they are traitors that are revealed to be good, or just as evil as he is. He just hates traitors for they cause his plans and ambition handicaps.

- Good people : Pain hates the people from the opposing side, as they would always try stopping him, thus causing nuisance and annoying him by their futile attempts.

- Coffins : the sight of a coffin irritates him, as it reminds him of death, which he actually fears. As coffins are things people usually use in cemeteries, it is agreeable that they would remind one a lot about death. And so for that reason, Pain tries his best not to encounter one, or even imagine or think about it.

Motivations:

- Blood : Blood from his enemies gives him the motivation to move on with his plan, as blood spilling represents great victory for him. By spilling his enemies’ blood, Pain believes it is a sign that he may move on to the next step in his many steps to achieve his ultimate goal.

- Beneficial jobs : Pain would do anything that benefits him, even if it involves killing his own allies, or even hurting himself, especially when it comes to attaining more powers.

- Gaining control : Pain believes that with more power, people will come to see him as a great threat, hence causing fear in their hearts. For this reason, he strives to gain control by achieving various level of powers.

Fears:

- Death : The only thing that may stop him is death, and so he does his best to keep away from anything that may kill him. Pain knows if he dies, everything will be over, and the world will be overrun by fools. He does not want this, and so he keeps his distant from things that would greet his death.

- Emotions : Contrary to Pain’s belief, he believes that emotions are what drives people weaker, as they stop some people from doing what’s right, and would usually drives them to do wrong things.

- Defeat : Not only he hates it, defeat has now become one of his greatest fears. By getting defeated, Pain believes that he wouldn’t be able to achieve more than he should, thus causing handicaps on his ambition.

Appearance:

Pain has the appearance of a lean man with an average build. His face has piercings on several parts of it, and his eyes consists of multiple circles in the pupils, with a noticeable purple color. He wears a huge collared cloak, which extends down to his knees. A headband is hung on his neck, with a metal piece on it. The long sleeved cloak has red cloud design on it, with the cloak’s base color being black. He wears a purple colored pair of trousers beneath the cloak. His lower knee part are covered with a pair of socks, with a unique looking sandals on their feet. He does not wear any tops underneath the cloa, and can be seen bare chested whenever the cloak is either not zipped or half zipped.
