quote="Sirenine"]Clementine
Name: Clementine Katyline Asher
Gender: Female
Age: -
Birthday: -
Sexuality: Whatever the mood strikes her as.
Special Characteristics:
Personality:
Clementine is mentally unstable and can easily be described as psychotic by those who witness her for an extended period. She may seem entirely sane and stable at times, rightfully so as she is sane, she is not stable in the least however. Her short-term goals and desires are so changeable that they should never be trusted. If for example she decides she likes you, you should still act under the impression that she dislikes you because anything could set her off. If she decides not to kill you for some unlikely reason, you had damned well better do your best not to make her change her mind because sooner or latter she will undoubtedly change her mind. You just need to try to be far away when she does.
Clementine is utterly obsessed with the concepts of life and death and feels pleasure in the form of a rush, or thrill, when taking life through the expression of power. When she kills, which she enjoys doing as often as she can and whenever the situation presents itself, she never does so subtly. She always wants people to see her, to know who killed them, she wants it to be obvious. She wants it to be loud. She wants people to witness the devastation she so loves spreading. The subtle arts of assassination or poisoning are... boring, and whats more is that it's usually so impersonal.
Why the hells would she bother poisoning water or a food supply when she could go straight up to a bitch and make them explode?
Clementine obviously holds life in very very little regard and struggles to find beauty in the natural reality around her. She prefers the sight of great smoldering craters and the blaze of erupting volcanoes, the sight of meteors streaking across the sky. Lakes of fire, boiling flesh, seas of blood. Crumbling buildings, towers of bones. These sights give Clementine a sense of euphoria and even arousal. She will often make the most of certain scenes and tries to display her artistic side with the remains, throw a few craters here and there, crumble a building or two, paint everything with blood and litter bones, then add a few corpses chained and impaled around the place. Most people don't appreciate her work, a pity.
When it comes to every day life, you know, minus all the lust for destruction and death, Clementine often goes out on ventures to experience new things and trying to explore new territory. Whether it be a theater house, a carnival, or a lecture on the study of sexual behavior in slugs. New things are new potentials and an opportunity to find something worth having around besides talking to her own reflection. Usually, these things fail to impress... so she is forced to make her own amusement. Said amusement usually includes the above and she is very, very keen on being amused.
Her constant search for amusement can take her literally anywhere, she might attempt being a kindergarten teacher one day, only to remember she hates kids and makes a new crater. Another day she might decide to see what it's like being an enforcer of the law, only to remember she hates rules- and make a new crater. There is a pattern here if you can't tell. This makes her more than a little dangerous, there is no plot. There is no reason. She goes places wherever she goes and if they fail to entertain she goes ballistic, of the inter-continental kind.
That being said she is not dedicatedly evil for the sake of being evil and will do things that could be stereotyped as being good deeds simply because that is where her train of thought carried her, or that's where the most fun was to be seen. Trying to convince her to protect a city because she'd get to exert her love of destruction on an entire approaching army is one example of an incredibly unwise decision, as she'd could take it any way- destroy the city herself? destroy both? decide to watch them carry out their own self-destruction?
She is very amused with self-destruction. The human or even animal ability willingly or otherwise to submit themselves to their own demise or walk the path of their own demise is one thing that she enjoys nearly as much as causing mass mayhem on her own accord. it is to the point that she would for kicks and giggles pose as a friend to such a person and watch them, even push them, down the path to their ruination. The best targets are those with the most to lose. Such as the wealthy, or "heroes".
When it comes to fighting and wrecking havoc, or to her it could be called foreplay, Clementine is unbelievably... reckless. She doesn't consider who is in the way of what, what happens if she throws a big explosion there, and has no regard for her own personal well being. She doesn't care if she takes a hit so long as she gives the bigger one, and while she does avoid deliberate damage the rash actions she displays in combat such as gratuitous use of explosions and incalculable pointless collateral damage is sky high.
She doesn't make much for the leading type, but if she lead's it is through brute force and intimidation. If someone questions her she doesn't hesitate to vaporize them, or even if they don't answer one of her own questions in a timely manner. And then of course her recklessness in combat, she is unlikely to care if her own grunts get caught in crossfire or in part of her explosions.
Likes:
- Death and Devastation: Death and Devastation are an integral part of her personality and are detailed in the personality section. Death and Devastation is the enjoyment Clementine has in witnessing the end of life and the destruction of it's achievements.
- Blood and Bone: Blood and Bone are a key manifestation of life, the blood and bone are in a way one of the base building blocks of life- yet are only seen when life has ended or has been threatened.
- Lust and Greed: Lust and Greed are aspects of life that are are wide spread and run rampant throughout it, yet are self-destructive tenancies that lead to it's failing as the pursuit of these vices lures people into despair through addictions.
Dislikes:
- Infants & Children: One in the same to her. These little creatures represent life and possibility, they have untold potential and don't know death. They don't believe it, they can't conceive of it. They are ignorant by nature and horrible, horrible little things in general. She things they look great strung together like ornaments though, but don't quite have the same appeal as skulls and spines but definitely more kick and shock value.
- Doctors & White Sorcery: A terrible invention that can hold death in chains and bring hope to many hopeless. The healing arts are a nuisance that need to be dealt with. The only acceptable form of mending flesh is through necromancy.
- People who flaunt influence, material possessions, or their love lives. While she'd gladly flaunt them herself, she gets really bothered when she sees others doing so. Intentionally or otherwise, when she sees someone with something she gets even the slightest bit of jealousy from... She tends to break things and take them from them. In a childish sort of way. But that child is a living nuke.
Motivations:
- Carving her initials in the stars. Almost literally, Clementine wants to make an undeniable permanent impression on the universe around her and not limited to the one little rock she stands on. She wants something big, she wants something all encompassing. She wants to tear her way permanently into the history books in a way that even after civilization has crumbled her mark remains. Whether anyone is around to see it is irrelevant to her, and in achieving this goal she'd gladly turn countless populated planets to cinders.
- Vengeance. An easy one. Clementine wasn't always as she is now. She became this way after her death when she was betrayed in a galaxy far far away, with the heart of a colossal star several thousand times bigger than Fiore's own little sun becoming her grave. The star incidentally was the material/physical manifestation of a hell-like plane of souls, though she was completely alone as it was so distant from civilization and life that no other soul had been there. Making her secluded and alone in an endless cycle of pain. Because of the plane's uninhabited state however, Clementine had no opposition. No one to keep her growth in check. She eventually mutated on the spiritual level to become so thoroughly bonded with the star that the star itself became the essence of her being and escape into the material was possible.
Those who betrayed her will pay dearly, someday. She has the memory of attempting, but something went wrong and the next... centuries even are a blur.
- Dismantling of the Neutral Zone. The Neutral Zone and places like it are abominations to Clementine and are a threat to her stance. The fact that she can't directly decimate the place sends a shiver down her spine. She'll find a way. She wishes to find the cause of this and understand how these places work to find a means with which to overcome them. Until then, all places like the Neutral Zone are targets.
In a similar vein to this, she wants to erase Antimagic from existence.
Fears:
- Somehow becoming with child: Luckily it is supposed to be impossible, but you never know. Clementine would literally rip her own uterus out rather than grow a child inside her. If incapable of doing so and being rendered powerless, she would be driven mad. Far madder than she is in any case. We're talking blank dead stare, head butting against the wall, and constant whispered banter between herself and the imaginary double-headed purple cow about the ethical value of feeding calves cheeseburgers.
- Being rendered powerless: To become mundane is a great fear of hers and she will actively seek to destroy all methods of doing so. She doesn't want anything to threaten her power, her ability to kill, to destroy. It's her life. See Neutral Zone, the motivation.
- Becoming forgotten, or dismissed. While not something she actively fears, it is something that would drive her to the breaking point and be a sure way to make something blow up, preferably the source of this- such as the waiter who took to long getting her drink, or someone who doesn't return her advances.
She finds the idea of passing on unnoticed to be horrifying, so you can expect her to make as much of a scene as possible of she knows her time is drawing close. Though she loves making scenes regardless.
General Appearance
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 131lb.
Hair: Black. Long and wild.
Eyes: Red.
Skin Tone: Quite pale.
Appearance:
Clementine's body isn't born of natural construction. She wasn't the product of biological reproduction, even in her origin or "First Birth". Instead Clementine's body was sculpted through the force of will and consciousness within the fiery heart of a star. From that will bore certain abnormalities. Like the ever so slightly glowing eyes that shift hues from burning orange to that of boiling blood, with further oddities on very close inspection within the structure of the iris. This changing hue gives them a flaming quality, as though they were little pools of flame. Particularly when her emotional and mental state is in flux.
Her flesh is abnormally soft but firm enough that it can be immensely satisfying to touch, or get intimate with, and is without blemish... even to the point of being described as featureless, without pores, unwanted hair follicles, freckles, or deformities. You cannot even see the subtle shift in color or slight raise in the skin where veins come close to the surface.
With a further peculiarity, her body produces no scent naturally but carries the scent of the most recently ingested substance. Whether it be roses or steak or someone's blood. This wears off after a half-day or so. She often smells like ash, a good fragrant campfire ash from burning rich wood and not tobacco ash.
Of course, having almost eerily perfect skin, she has a body to match with fantastic proportions though a little more so in the bust than in the hips. Her muscle definition is just enough to see a touch of abdominal muscle providing a toned physique but nothing to write home about to your weightlifting grand daddy, they're fit and very healthy, but the primary usage is in highlighting her physical appearance. While firm enough, her body's abnormal softness comes into play here.
