opening the door to the future (Erics intro thread)

after several hours of searching for the guild hall for a guild called Nox Animus, Eric found himself standing infront of the guild hall doors. Heart racing wildly as he stood just infront of the doors he could feel himself frozen from nerves. 'Am I really ready for this?' he thought before thinking back to his abusive parents, the ones that he left because of their needless greed from his magic they believed that would give them money while he would get nothing "no...I gotta be strong...I need to prove them wrong and show them that this magic of mine is good for more than just making money, its good for helping people..." he murmured as he calmed his hands and put them on the doors of the guild and pushed them till they would open for him‏ allowing him to step into the guild hall, his short but blue spiked hair waving abit with his blue jacket billowing as it covered his shirt. As he looked into the guild hall he felt his stomach drop‏ in nervousness at seeing all of the guild members.

John was sitting quietly at a table, a brand new whiskey bottle next to him and a glass in his hand as he sipped the glass. He let the whiskey inside his mouth sit for a moment and then swallowed. Hearing the guild hall doors get pushed up he glanced at the doors and quirked a brow as a kid or so he thought stood there with blue hair and yacket. He shrugged and took a sip from his whiskey, he wasn't wearing his cloak right now, instead it was laying besides him. The burned man's bandages were clearly visible and he didn't do much to hide them either. Instead he moved the glass to his mouth again and sipped the orange liquid whilst keeping an eye on the kid.

It was about noon and Mizuko had competed his morning routine which included waking up at dawn and going out to his usual spot on top of the roof in the most southern part of the city and then proceeding to some solo training in the danger room before heading to the guild hall for some lunch. As he walked up to the guild hall he noticed the door was open and someone new was in the way. Mizuko made sure his hood was up to hide his face and his scarf was properly over his mouth. After making sure he was hiding ever part of him that would indicate he was an Atlantean he began to walk up to the hall. As he passed by the newcomer Mizuko shot him a glance and then continued to walk towards his private table in the back. "Fresh meat." He said with an eerie  young child's voice. Mizuko was only about 4 feet tall so its was safe to assume he was still a kid but something about those two words he said made it feel as if he were older than what his appearance gives off.

Already Eric had the urge to just turn around and leave due to already being eyed by guild members, particually by a man who was looked completely covered in...bandages 'that's just plain scary...' he thought as walked past the man. his feet continued walking into the guildhall turning his head left and right looking for some one eventually stopping once he got past all of what seemed to be people staring at him he finally stopped "where are they?...." he murmured pulling out what seemed to a package that was addressed to him

John kept his eyes at the new guy as he walked into the room and stopped in front of a package. John had also had the package delivered to him when he first joined the Guild Known as Nox Animus, but that was a while ago now. Instead of walking up to him and explaining what it was he remained seated at his table and sipped his whiskey slowly, letting the fiery liquid start to almost burn in his mouth before he swallowed it, taking another sip directly afterwards. He had also noticed the child looking fella Mizuko talking or at least greeting the new guy, he hadn't heard what he had called him but that didn't really matter.

Lina was sitting at one of the tables in the guildhall, she didn't like the taste of whisky or any type of alcohol. So she had a glass of water on the table, she heard the guild doors fly open as she looked over to see someone new she hadn't seen before, and judging by his nervous appearance he was a new member, she turned towards the door as he walked by. she knew how nervous she was on the first day, so she stood up and waved to him as he walked past with a smile on her face. "welcome to Nox Animus" she said with a smile on her face.

Mizuko sat down at his table and within a few seconds had 2 young looking children come running out from the kitchen asking him what he would like to eat this morning. "W-What would y-y-you like to eat t-t-today master Mizuko?" Said the kid nervously. "I'll just have the usual and make it snappy. I don't want a repeat of the other day." Mizuko replayed. "Right away sir!" Said the other kid and they ran back towards the kitchen. Those two kids have been working under Mizuko for the past few days as a favor to the towns folk. Although the only reason he's doing it is cause Yuna kinda dumped the responsibility on him for some reason. Apparently the children were caught doing something they weren't suppose to be doing and as punishment was sent to work for Mizuko. Though all they have been doing is causing more trouble then they are worth and got on Mizuko's bad side the other day. So you can see why the kids were afraid just now.

After about 10 minutes later the Kids rushing out of the kitchen with some seafood. As they were on there way to Mizuko's table they trip and drop the food all over the floor. Mizuko facepalms and runs his hand down his face. Immediately the two children start apologizing and begging for forgiveness. "I don't care about your apologies!!!! Just get me some food! Or get out of my sight!!!!!!" Mizuko snapped. After the kids ran back into the kitchen Mizuko let out a long sign. "And I still have 4 more days to baby-sit these brats. Dammit Yuna, I said I'm not good with kids." He said muttering to himself while rubbing his temples.

Eric looked down at this kid, she looked to be 16, standing in front of him with a smile that felt reassuring from what he guessed to be all of the people who seemed like they would kill him without a second thought "thanks its nice to be here" he started with a smile before he heard a voice snap at a person making him jump catching him completely off guard "who's that?" he whispered to the person in front of him "i got a package to dilever to a guild master named 'yuna' I believe..." he explained

The young nature fairy leaned against the railings outside the ship, enjoying the scenery. The day was indeed a beauty to behold. The sky was a light baby blue and the clouds were snowy white. The sun shined in all its splendor sending rays of warmth upon the ship. Yuna smiled. She was really and truly happy for although Alexander Zenneth had gone, the ship still continued to thrive. A soft alarm of the ironbark, that only she and her father had the ability to hear, hummed throughout the ship alerting her of the newcomer. Yuna fluttered her wings before racing of to meet the newcomer. Perhaps it was the new recruit she had spoken with a while back or perhaps one she had sent the packages to. She usually gave the 'address,' in forms of packages and such, of her childhood house to new recruits as it was incredibly difficult to board or near impossible locate the ship. Opening the door would lead them to the ship through an open portal she had installed through the guild's personal Danger Room. Anyways, she came appeared through the hallway and smiled at her fellow guildmates and the stranger. The two tiny boys almost unexpectedly ran into her in fear and Yuna raised an eyebrow in amusement watching them disappear. "Mizuko... What did you do?" She had handed the two boys over to Mizuko as aides for him, but it seemed he treated them more like slaves. On the bright side, the children would think twice before committing a crime again. She walked towards the stranger after greeting her fellow guildmates. "H-Hello. My name is Yuna and I'm the guildmaster here. P-Please allow me to welcome you to Nox Animus." Yuna beamed happily. Her social skills were rapidly improving. "H-How may I help you?"

Eric looked at the...person? who addressed him with a smile, she didn't look human...well fully human anyways "okay...so you're yuna...I got your.. package" he said handing over the package he was given to the person still trying to figure out what she was "um...what are you?" he finally asked obviously he wasn't familiar with any sort of fairy tale creatures
