Advertisements

Hi there. I'm Dia, an admin on an RPG forum. I received several advertisements for this place but the link for linking back advertisements seems to be broken and it asks for me to log in. Browsing the forum I could find no guest-friendly advertisement forum nor should it be difficult to find.

I'm sorry if this is my mistake and have been unable to spot it, but I assure you I've looked over ten times. I even came across the fact that you have a contest for advertising.

I'm sorry I registered just to post this, but there is no guest-friendly c-box and this forum isn't guest-friendly either. Hopefully this is my mistake and you'll help me by pointing me in the right direction for the linking back forum.

Normally you can just do 'Command + F' on a mac to find or "CTRL + F" on a PC to find the word "advertisement" and you'll be able to see if the forum has a advertisement section. No idea how you had difficulties finding it as there are plenty of other forums that have successfully linked back.

Thank you. Of course I also tried looking for it with ctr+f, that's how I usually do it at first, since different forum have them in different places. I also scanned each ooc section and even looked at the reply count because advertising forums usually have the most topics. I'm honestly telling you that it wasn't there... even following the link from the link back in your advertisement asked me to log in. There's no reason for me to go through the trouble of creating an account simply to mention this, trust me. It just wasn't visible. Now it is... so, someone must have edited the permissions in the meantime.

Anyway, I'm glad it is solved, but please do not try to put the blame on me since I'm not exactly new at this. Mistakes happen, I know I mess up permissions sometimes too, or forget to edit them. No harm done.
