Mournblade:

The blade is made out of black fire scale, which is trapped between the oxides in the Earth's crust. It also has a silver handle with embedded gems, allowing Daichi to reduce the backflow of his magic when it is transmitted to the blade. Also there are Latin symbols written just above the handle on the dark blade, which only Daichi can understand as it states "Devil's Weapon". The blade is 3inches wide and 25inches long, gradually narrowing down towards the tip of the sword. In order to craft this weapon Daichi spent a lot of time looking for a blacksmith which would agree to craft it and then more time to find the appropraite items.

Strengths:

- Quick: The average size of the sword is allowing Daichi to freely and comfortably manouvre the blade and perform quick swings.
- Sharp: The black iron metal allows it to cut through most armor materials of D-Rank, such as: leather, silk, cotton, plate, brass and other metals.
- Small: The relatively diminutive size of the blade stops Daichi from using a lot of strength in order to manouvre the blade and also it allows him to get his sword through restricted areas and around obstacles.

Weaknesses:

- Singlular: As it is Daichi's only weapon and he uses it for both attack and defense, this will make battling hard for him as he will need to change his focus on attack and defense, throughout the battle.
- Metal: Any metal damaging effects or abilities will affect the weapon's durability and sharpness.
- Different metals: The fact that the Mournblade consists of two separate metals (handle and the blade are different metals) - if enough pressure is applied at te point where the two metals are combined - the handle might brake.
- Can be lost: This weapon can easily be lost or disarmed in the middle of battle if Daichi isn't careful and not paying enough attention to the foe.
