Lucille once again found herself in Oak Town, on a mission that was going to bore the ever loving crap out of her. The Tartarus mage had been trying to find a way to reintroduce the rats she had abducted to society, and had stumbled upon another job opportunity in the same location as the place she had gotten them from. There was a woman who had apparently lost her engagement ring in the river that was nearby Oak Town, and she was extremely desperate to find it. This was another chance for the blood maid to make some quick money, even though she wasn’t exactly hurting for jewels it was better to have a large amount saved up for any occasion. Thus, she had taken the opportunity to accept the job and decided to unleash the rats outside of Oak Town to cause panic on their own. Lucille knew she was going to have to hightail it immediately after the job in order to throw suspicion off of her, or at least get away in time so that they were too busy to suspect that she had indeed done it.
Lucille found her client looking at the river intently, trying to find the ring that she had so idiotically lost on her own. Putting on a fake concerned look, Lucille walked up to her and placed her hand gently on the woman’s shoulder, surprising her. “Excuse me, you wouldn’t happen to be Emy Milton would you?” Obvious the woman was in extreme shock, but eventually calmed. The blood maid could understand, its not everyday that a mage dressed as a maid with a razor sharp hat came up and asked you if you were their client so casually.
“Yes. I am Emy.” The redhead replied, sighing as she ran her fingers through her hair. “You’re here to help me find my engagement ring right?” At Lucille’s nod, Emy smiled brightly and seemed to improve in her mood. “Oh how wonderful! This is great! I need that engagement ring fast, you’ll be able to help me find it in time won’t you?” The Tartarus mage put on a fake smile and nodded once again, which made the woman cheer for happiness. It truly disgusted Lucille that someone of such idiocy thought that she was there to just help her, but the blood mage knew that it was better for her to live in her dream land than to crush those dreams and not get paid. Thus, she began to walk down the side of the river and search intently for the ring, hoping to find it quickly. Of course this was not the time for the Tartarus mage to be hoping, as the glaring reflection of the sun off the water caused it to be much harder to spot anything that might have even resembled a ring. This made Lucille’s life harder as she tried to bend over and check the river, but still couldn’t really spot anything in it. The blood mage was about to continue when a slight speck of blonde hair came into her vision. This caused her to whip around and try to spot the person who had just leaned over her, but all she saw was Emy looking at another spot in the river.
Lucille was going to look back but noticed something next to where Emy was looking. On the ground, a slight gleam that went unnoticed by the red headed woman. The blue haired woman walked over and, much to the embarrassment of Emy, leaned over to grab the item. Thus had the unfortunate side effect of placing her chest atop Emy’s head, but Lucille didn’t care as she now had the item in hand. It was the ring that the two had been looking for all along, which made Lucille smile. “Emy, I think I may have found the item we have been searching for. I believe this is your ring?” When she showed it to the redhead, she was immediately was placed into a bone crushing hug that would have killed a lesser, or more normally built human.
“Thank you!” Emy screamed in joy, obviously pleased to have gotten her ring back. When she released the hug, the redhead immediately dug into her pockets in order to retrieve a small bag of jewels. She gave said jewels to Lucille, and smiled proudly. “I hope we can meet again someday, thanks for all of your help miss….” Emy frowned when she tried to remember Lucille’s name, but the blood maid raised her hand and smirked when she was about to try and respond.
“My name is Kate Winchester.” Lucille bowed to Emy, trying to act casual and non-observant. However, in the corner of her eye, she spotted a small group of Rune Knights walking outside of Oak Town. They would be alone and easy pickings for an ambush, so she kept that as a mental note as she rose again and was immediately hugged by Emy once more.
“Thank you once again Kate! I hope you have a good day!” Emy spoke as she started running off, probably to tell someone she had found the ring. Meanwhile, Lucille eyed the road the Rune Knights had gone on, with an evil smirk and a demented gleam in her eyes.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Four lowly Rune Knights who had gone through Oak Town to find a suspicious person who was said to be a mage of Tartarus. Of course their leads had gone nowhere, and thus were meant to return to their camp with news of the failure. However, this would be the one time that they would regret being together, as they were all going to die.
A buzzing sound was all the noise that they heard before two of them were cut by a fast moving sharp object. One was cut in the throat and fell to his knees, hands covering the wound as the other was cut in the arm. The three standing knights tried to spot the attacker, but sadly one made the mistake of turning his head the wrong way and paid for it by having a razor rimmed hat slam directly into his skull. Shocked, he looked up at the hat and stumbled about before falling on the ground, clearly dead. His team was utterly baffled, and didn’t notice the woman come up behind them and bulldog the non injured one into the ground. The last Rune Knight drew his blade and tried to attack, but was kicked back by the blue haired woman with an eyepatch. She then walked up and stomped on his chest hard, making him open his mouth. She then gleefully emptied a bag of mice directly above his mouth, making the man choke on and eventually die from having mice inserted into his mouth. The blue haired woman turned her attention to the two remaining knights, one bleeding profusely and the other nearing unconsciousness. Taking a step back, the woman ran up and curb stomped the bleeding man’s head hard into the ground. The Rune Knight’s skull exploded violently, and caused blood to fly everywhere, thankfully not on the woman’s legs yet. The last knight was still down, and thus the woman walked up to his dead buddy and kicked her hat out of his skull, which splurted blood everywhere. Keeping said hat in her hand, she threw it on the ground to create a buzzsaw like object. She then took the man by both of his legs, and dragged him towards the now deadly buzzsaw hat. Pulling him through it, she allowed it to cut him in half right down the middle, and watched gleefully as his organs and such fell out of his body, which the rats that hadn’t occupied the suffocation victims mouth came and started pecking at. The maid laughed, carefully picked her hat up and walked away, not caring about leaving the bodies there.
She wanted to and was going to leave a message. One of chaos and disorder.
However, she didn't notice the blonde who had watched the slaughter, and vanished quickly afterwards.
