Sabertooth meets Scorpion tail (Zenshin and Akryn)

Just inside the city walls of the mighty Era, a small, plain looking building sat. Unnoticed, unremarkable, and unimportant, no passerby would have recognized the dangers that lurked within. In such a magicaly rich city as Era, the magical pressures that could be felt within would be all but forgotten. The two stalls not far away would never be mistaken for watch posts. One was a jewelry stand, with a short, fat, balding man running it with a nasally, irritating voice and ridiculous prices. On the other end, a beautiful young woman, with caramel colored skin sat, selling fruits and vegetables. She was truly a hit with the customers. But both were truly mages, lookouts for the guild Scorpion Tail, keeping guard on one of the guilds many safehouses. And keeping an eye out for their guest to arrive.

Inside the safehouse, things were ridiculously different. Gone were the drab, outer, facades, replaced by true décor and beauty, with marble pillars and statues, lining a hallway that proceeded down underground, to a large, well decorated room. In the room sat a large table, a large amount of food set out on it. Five men sat at the table. On the left, a tall, muscular, bald man, with a beard, metal arm, and a tattoo of an eye on his forehead. Next to him sat a large, muscular man, obviously tall, with large, swollen muscles. Hair grew profusely on his arms and chest, and a short black ponytail hung down his back.

On the opposite side of the table sat a shorter, obviously younger man, incredibly thin and pale, with long, silver hair, and odd, silvery eyes that shimmered like oil in the sun, wearing no shirt, but odd, curly toed shoes, baggy green pants with a red sash. To his right sat another man, whose possible size and build were all hidden under an absolutely massive, puffy white robe. He had short, golden hair, and a wrap around his eyes.

At the head of the table sat the man who had sent an invitation to Zenshin to come. He was tall, at least six foot four, and handsome by any standards, with long, black hair, hanging down behind him and over his shoulders, and a neatly trimmed goatee and stylized mustache, and a single, green eye. His other eye was hidden under a black eye patch, but rather than mar his features, it seemed to enhance them. He wore black, pressed slacks and polished, black shoes, with a matching belt. A white, pressed shirt, and a long, blue coat with golden buttons finished his ensemble. A sword leaned against the table next to him, and a ring adorned the middle finger of each hand, all three brimming with magical energies. This was Alphonse Mirasol, Lord of Scorpion tail. And Zenshins newest ally it seemed......

Of course the leader of Scorpion Tail would be right down the street from my apartment, I don't know why I thought it would be on some island in the middle of nowhere Zen thought sarcastically as he made his way down to the stands that he normally avoided for varying reasons. One was to avoid the really annoying man who charged obscene prices for his obviously fake jewelry and a beautiful woman that Iana would get extremely of if she even saw Zen within her proximity. These were the lookouts who did a great job of either driving people away or distracting them from the building that was already difficult to make out from a concrete wall. Upon making his way down the street, Zen tipped his head to the two who ran the stands and they did the same before the man tossed him a key to unlock their door with, which he then proceeded to do.

Upon stepping inside, he saw that the inside was a lot fancier than the outside. Oh, how well furnished. I wonder how Scorpion Tail gets the jewels to be able to afford such fancy safe houses he thought while making his way down the red carpet, admiring the pillars and statues that adorned the room. He walked down the slope and made his way into the room with the men and the table. At the head was a man who was obviously far more powerful than all the others, and Zen sat at the separate end of the table. Anyone who wasn't either of them would be able to feel the vibrations in the air from the magical pressure being given off by the two of them, truly a stand off. "Afternoon" he said while recreating a bowl of noodles in his left hand and a pair of chopsticks in the other, metal hand.

"Good evening Master Zenshin." The man at the end said, raising his glass to Zenshin. "And welcome to our, temporary, and humble, abode. Your reputation on power precede you. A fitting ally. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Alphonse Mirasol, guildmaster of Scorpion Tail. To my left are Tonsca, whom I believe you have already met, and Maurice, two of my aces, and to my right, Malvis, my final and most powerful ace, and Xerxes, a mage who may soon be an ace himself. I hope you do not mind their presence. Each of them is a potential candidate to lead the guild, should I pass, and I thought that observing and participating in this meeting would be excellent training. But, on to business." Mirasol said, crossing his fingers and resting his chin on them as he leaned forward slightly to smile at Zenshin. "What is it you want from the nevermore alliance?"

Zenshin inhaled his noodles like a vacuum as Alphonse spoke, introducing himself as well as his aces. "Well it's nice to meet the people I'm going to eventually see on the battlefield. You see, I didn't really want to join your Nevermore alliance, but I wanted to see my enemy's face, and I wanted him to see mine. I get what you want to accomplish, but I disagree with how you're doing it, so I have to put a stop to it, unfortunately it's going to be difficult with such a strong guild" he said before recreating more noodles in his bowl and scarfing them down some more. "You obviously aren't going to attack me, even though you'd force me to retreat since it's you AND all your aces, but I have the increased Era guard on my side. Their a little paranoid after the recent events" he continued, dispelling the metal sheath on his right arm and leaning over the table to hold it over one of the candles. "I, on the other hand, haha, don't share that feeling" as his jaw unhinged like a snake and a flamethrower activated from the back of his throat. This wasn't Zenshin, it was a decoy, it was his puppet.
