Shine Like The Moon [Naziel and Chikane]

Player Requirements: A-Ranked Wizard(s) or two B-Ranked Wizards. Thread must be 50 posts Long.

Job Requirements: Must defeat 3 Groups of Enemies. Must defeat either Werewolf Omega, or Werewolf Alpha; without killing them. Must either severely wound; or knock out the enemies without killing them.

The Confused and Raging Werewolves will attack eachother if you make them angry enough at each other somehow. The Confused Werewolves will also howl loudly; and call another group of 3 more Confused Werewolves if you fail to take them down within 3 posts of them appearing.

Job Location: Haunted Village

Job Description: The Haunted Village, on the coast of the Graveyard Sea. Not a place for those of weak spirit or mind. Nestled at the foot of the Phoenix Mountains; the villagers here have long been wary of the Mountain above. However, outsiders are wary of the villagers themselves; as each fifty years, certain families from this village undergo a drastic transformation.

They are Lycan. Werewolves of the most ancient bloodlines. At least half of the village is composed of Werewolves. Normally; they have complete control of their transformations, and use their powers for good. Whether it be at home in Haunted Village, or around Fiore and the world at large.

However; every fifty years, a Perfect Moon rises over the Graveyard Sea; and into the skies over Haunted Village and Fiore at large. Everywhere else except Haunted Village; this is a site to behold, as many festivals, parties, and love birds enjoy the Perfect Moon to the fullest. However; the Magic Council is aware that on this eve; the Werewolf Clan in Haunted Village goes into a Berserker Rage; murdering their own fellow townsfolk, perhaps even their best of friends; and attempting to branch out across Fiore for one eve of feral bloodlust.

The Magic Council has sent a request too the Guilds; both Light and Dark, to send some of their more talented wizards too Haunted Village to prepare for the impending threat of Werewolves spreading across Fiore for a night of carnage.

The villagers themselves and refuse to believe that anything is going to go wrong. Shunning the village elders who were around for the last Perfect Moon fifty years ago.

Enemies:

Weak: Confused Werewolf x3 (B-Ranked, Hulk-Sized behemoth that is completely bewildered and out of control at it's sudden transformation. It's running speed on all fours is stupendous. It will use it's Razor Sharp Claws, and Fangs to rip and shred anything in it's way.Will become confused if too many flashy spells are used; and may attacks it's own kind. May also do a 'Calling Roar' within the first 2 posts it's around if it's not downed before the 3rd post. This will spawn yet another pack of Confused Werewolves who come running. Hopefully, your spells and attacks find their mark before a 3rd round. Takes 5 hits of B-Ranked damage to down each one of these beasts. )

Normal: Raging Werewolf x10 (A-Ranked, these Hulking furred behemoth's are foaming at the mouth. They move so quickly; they leave smoke trails behind them as they run at about 30MPH. They have a Sonic Howl attack that will shatter through any B-Ranked spell effects and cause a 'disoriented', Status if you fail block rolls. They are also strong enough to lift trees, and other things of similar weight. Their claws and fangs are sharp enough to cut and bite chunks of buildings away. Their fangs and claws are so strong; that even Magical Iron, Steel, and Ice B-Ranked and blow can be broken and crushed. Takes 10 hits of B-Ranked damage to down each one of these behemoths.)

Strong: Werewolf Omega (A-Ranked, this monstrous wolf has white fur. And can leap up to fifty feet at once; crushing anything it lands on. It's claws are sharp enough to slash through A-Ranked spells if it see's them coming or Blocks. It can easily dodge A-Ranked techniques as well. His claws and fangs are as sharp as a katana; and will deal A-Ranked damage with each slices, maul, or bite. He has a Mega Howl attack that rips up everything in it's path for 50 feet in front of Werewolf Omega in a burst of force that flips things over and causes weak construsts B-Ranked and below composed of anything to explode. His leaps are magnificent. Takes 15 hits of B-Ranked damage to take this white furred Lycan down.)

Boss: Werewolf Alpha (S-Ranked, with Golden fur like the finest coin; he glitters. The Alpha of the Haunted Village pack. This Lycan can slay Giants on it's own. He moves at 50 MPH with one spring in his step; and can jump 100 feet in any direction. There is no escaping this beast once he has your scent. His claws and fangs? Well, let's just say he shatters through all solid magical effects of A-Ranked and below with ease; snapping them in half like twigs. He is strong enough to grab a house by it's foundation, and just flip it. He deals S-Ranked damage with every slice; his claw swipes are so powerful, they cut the air; meaning he can slice at you and even if you dodge; something behind you is getting sliced. His mauls leave claw marks wherever they hit; whether it be Iron, Brick, the Ground itself. It does not matter to the Alpha. Takes 10 hits of A-Ranked damage to take this paragon of Lycanthropy down.)

Reward(s): The villagers, thankful their friends and family were spared gift ONLY one wizard with an Amulet of the Moon (Increases wearers Magic Power by 100% at night in the Moonlight) & Double Experience (2 A-Ranked Jobs Completed)

Naziel had reached the Outskirts of the Haunted Village, it was late afternoon and there would be plenty of time to meet with the client and go over some formalities before the inevitable happened. Naziel had never come across a Werewolf become, especially never dreamt of having to fight one potentially but the thought excited him! Since his defeat at the hands of Chikane during his exam he awoke to find himself wrapped in bandages and feeling somewhat sorry for himself, hobbling around the guild shouting at members even though they could not understand a word he was saying.

The heat from the late afternoon was enough to have him sit for a moment as he awaited his partner for this mission. Although this was no ordinary partner or mission. He was to accompany the Guild Master herself, Noriko Hitsugaya, also know as Chikane. She had selected him to accompany her on this mission sent from the Magic Council themselves. All in all Naziel had no issue with the magic council and he had undying faith and loyalty in the new master and her abilities, but he wondered why she would pick him? Peep had been told to take care of the guild in Naziel's absence, mostly because he had not been told to bring him, but also, if theses beasts took Peep's life he would not be able to function.

Naziel wore his new white coat with blue lines lining it along with gold segments that were within the blue. He was also wearing his blue Scarf that he was now unwilling to remove, he had told no one about it nor where it came from. Only that he would not remove it. the sleeves of the white jacket were rolled over those of his jacket showing his forearms and his Guild Tattoo. He sported a pair of worn deep green jeans and of course his open topped boots. Naziel sat for a moment awaiting his master's arrival and wondered what would lie in store for the pair this night.

A young woman wearing a red tattered hoodie, which had a giant buster blade covered in strange markings, and black shorts ran down a path heading towards the Haunted Village. Her armored boots clanked against the ground constantly as she huffed in exertion. Her white hair was covered by the hood, which was raised up as per usual when she wore this outfit. Her face was slightly red, but from the constant running she had been doing for a long time or the embarrassment she felt at what had happened was the question.

“Ohhhhh man! I hope I wont be late! I knew I shouldn’t have listened to that man.” The woman whined as she continued to run, before her face took on a slightly satisfied look. “But the sandwiches he gave me were delicious though. I didn’t know I could eat that many! I feel so full now~” The woman stopped and gave a contented sigh, before she shook her head and slapped her cheeks multiple times. “Not the time Chikane! You have a job to do!” Chikane reprimanded herself before continuing her run again.

The guild master had rarely been outside the guild since she had taken the job, but this was one of those times she enjoyed being out. One of her guild members, Naziel Stormbringer, agreed to accompany her on this job, which consisted of fighting werewolves without killing them. Now Chikane had no problem beating the tar out of things, yet this meant she would have to hold back on some levels. Her only goal would be to knock them out, and her abilities might end up charring them if she let loose too far.

Wouldn’t be too hard right?

Chikane eventually saw Naziel standing around the outskirts of the Haunted Village, and slowed herself to a brisk run while waving. “Hey! Sorry to make you wait Naziel!” She called out to him, hoping he heard her approaching. “I just…….got caught up in something. Yeah.” She puffed out her chest proudly at her excuse, slightly impressed with her own ability to lie. She wasn’t good at it after all. Chikane looked back at Naziel with a smile on her face.

“You ready to get started?”

Naziel saw Chikane running up towards him and he gave her a peculiar look as she continued to charge up towards him clunking in her boots as she arrived. He listened to her explanation before looking at her face with a sigh and pointed at her cheek; " Does that explain the crumbs around your mouth then?" He point and twitched his finger like it was a worm.He couldn't believe that her being late was because she stopped for a damn sandwich! However she was younger than him and much smaller so burning energy must be much easily surely? He looked at her for a moment and he felt himself blushing thinking how cute she was; " N-NO, NO! That's the Guild Master! BAD NAZIEL!" He thought to himself as he saw an image of himself punching himself back to reality. He nervously cleared his throat followed by a sigh and pushed himself up; "I thought you'd beat me here! But hey you are shorter than me and younger... So i'll let you off!" He grinned at her playfully. Since the exam Naziel and Chikane had grown close, even to the point in Naziel's eyes of a very close friend. Of course he held the upmost respect for her as a Guild Master but there wasa connection between the two of them that could not be so easily knocked down.

He walked over and saw the huge blade in her back; " Thought you said it was a K.O. Mission, not kill... That thing will kill them." Naziel felt a bead of sweat roll down his face with an nervous laugh as he remembered the destruction her blade had caused him during their last tussle. He put his hands on his sides with a deep breath; " Okay... Let's get going Master!" He smiled at her warmly.

Chikane blushed in embarrassment and wiped her mouth when Naziel pointed out that she still had crumbs all over. Being a messy eater was starting to catch up to her, seeing as her teacher had also caught her various times after eating a huge meal with food still on her face. It was even more embarrassing that one of her guildies had caught her on it too. What a disappointment! She growled when the water dragon slayer had called her short; while not normally something to make her angry, her height wasn’t a thing she took lightly. She was proud of being of a smaller stature, it meant she was more nimble and could escape sticky situations.

Maybe she should remind Naziel of the outcome of their duel?

Chikane shook her head and chuckled a bit when Naziel pointed out how her blade could end up killing the people they were only meant to knock out. It was true in a sense, her blade was created with the idea of killing or maiming opponents. However, there were ways for her to beat the tar out of people with it in non-lethal ways. She had done it with Naziel, and he was still alive today. She waved off his worries as she started walking towards the village.

“You shouldn’t worry. My blade won’t kill unless I specifically aim to kill. And I never aim to kill.” Chikane told him over her shoulder. It was true, even if she fought her most hated enemy she would only aim to disable. “Now! Let us go Nazzy! The client awaits!” Chikane said cheerfully, not noticing the name that she had given him.

The way she was cheerfully walking with innocent bliss was enough to explain that nothing was wrong to her. So nothing should be wrong to anyone else, right?

Naziel took a deep breath as he got up from his seat and followed after his master as they began to near the village, it seemed to be made up of a mixture between wooden huts and stone buildings, all in all it looked quite a simple village... I guess being a Werewolf they didn't require over lavish home steads? Naziel looked on and could feel his heart pounding in his chest at the thought of meeting a real Werewolf. "Hey master, any idea how strong Werewolves can be?" His voice was confident but their strengths were still a complete mystery to him and he didn't like not knowing what could and could not happen. Either way he had Chikane and she had him.

Eventually the Duo reached the village and watched as people stood in their doorways, waving at them but at the same time looking quite fearful. Some had shackles attached to their hands and feet, some had donned collars, all in all Naziel felt sorrow in his heart at the hardship that these people were willing to go to too protect their families and friends from themselves once that moon hits its peak. "This is such a cruel curse..." Naziel thought to himself.

Chikane continued walking towards the village, ready to help with their problem immediately. The flame mage felt like she had an immense amount to prove to everyone, as there were still those in Fairy Tail that didn’t trust her. While she had been pouring her heart and soul into the guild, they kept giving her dirty looks and obviously spoke poorly about her when they didn’t think she could hear. It was just like when she first started traveling outside of Sin and people learned her actual heritage. While there were those who were kind, others would oust her and probably give her up to her enemies if it meant that they were rid of her.

She couldn’t give up now though. She was so close to her dreams now.

Chikane answered Naziel without missing a beat in her stepping pattern. “Werewolves are powerful enough to where even I have to be careful fighting the weaker ones.” She said seriously, as it was definitely the truth. Even only 3 of the weaker lycans could probably defeat the flame mage if she wasn’t careful. Thus she would make sure that Naziel was prepared as well. “Make sure you’re well prepared to fight multiple of them too. I may not be able to take them all down by myself.” Chikane stated with deadly seriousness. This was no easy going D-rank job. This was a serious fight that could end up with them both dead if they weren’t careful.

Chikane continued walking, but her steps became less joyful and more determined as they entered the village. She saw the people and was hurt by how they had to attempt to keep themselves back from lashing out. This was the one moment of weakness these usually proud people had, and she hated seeing them look so frail. “These type of things happen. Fortunately it's only every so often. So we don’t have to worry about them much.” Chikane stated while looking around. She was on edge slightly, but also ready to help.

In only her way.

Naziel finally stopped as they reached the center of the village. The elder emerged wearing a large wolf pelt, he was a hulk of a man, with scars down his body but most noticible was his scar over his left eye. His voice was deep but gentle; "Would you be the ones we have been waiting for? Have you decided to take this task upon just the two of you?" The Giant man looked at the pair with a cocked eye, after all they did look like only a 16 and 18 year old pair of teenagers.

Naziel looked at Chikane before taking a step forward; "We are them, although you give us a look of surprise we can handle this task...  You asked for Fairy Tail's help and we answered... I am Naziel and this here is the Guild Master herself..." Naziel's voice was strong but calm as he took a small bow and  stepped out of the way showing Chikane to the town folk that had began to gather around them in whispers.

The Giant stepped forward and looked deep into Naziel's eyes; "You don't seem afraid boy?" He smirked with a light chuckle; "I am the Alpha of these people, my name is Goliath. Why do you look scared of fearful?" His tone was almost mocking as Naziel looked back with his own deep blue eyes; " Well my lord, I'm a Dragon Slayer... It's in our nature to not let anything get in our way... You can count on that." Naziel shot him a smirk as the giant Lycan smacked a hand onto Naziel's back; " HA! That's what I like to hear kid! You may just survive the night!" He chuckled as the town folk joined in. Naziel continued to smirk as Goliath turned back to Chikane;" If you don't mind, me and your Master have some matters to discuss." With that he continued to walk towards Chikane.

Chikane sighed one last time and rubbed her neck as she and Naziel finally made it to the center of the village. She could finally release the illusion lacrima holding together her old looks, which included her hair clothing, and personality. While she wanted to continue how she was, Chikane nearly forgot all about where she came from and how her mother wanted her to live life to the fullest. Her little quirks made her what she was, and that meant the half-demon was going to show everyone who she really was. Naziel would be the first, and everyone else would come next.

Reaching up to undo what appeared to be a regular ribbon which tied her hair together, Chikane seemed to undergo a transformation of sorts. Her short white hair grew and turned brown, save for a few streaks in the front of her hair. Her clothing changed, to where it was obvious she was wearing a green and yellow jumpsuit with a brown jacket over it. Her face changed slightly in some ways, and her stance shifted a bit to where she was more laid back than her old appearance. This was her actual appearance, which wasn’t why she had the illusion magical ribbon on per se.

When the Giant turned and began to walk towards her, Chikane figured what the entire situation might be about. “Ah reckon you wanted to speak to me about keeping your people alive and well?” She asked with a different voice and accent that Naziel wouldn’t have heard before from her. The Giant nodded, although seemed a bit confused at her style of speaking. “Yes. I hope you won’t hurt them with that blade you have, and that all of us will be fine in the morning.” Chikane gave off a bit of a chuckle and pat her blade a couple times. “Ah wouldn’t worry suh. Just leave it all to me and sugah there. Naziel is a good kid, we won’t letcha down.”  The guild master said with a cheeky grin. The large man chuckled himself and nodded. “Right. Did the Magic Council tell you about the reward?” He asked, which he got a nod of confirmation as an answer for.

“Yes suh. Ah have been briefed on the entirety of the situation. Sugah over there don’t know yet,  but Ah reckon he’ll figure it out when I get it. Ah hope the council don’t need it, because sugah could use it for his own reasons.” Chikane’s accent was prevalent here, showing how differently she was taught to speak. The Giant didn’t seem to care however, and just chuckled again before walking back towards Naziel.

“Well I hope you two survive the night!” He said, which Chikane’s face hardened to.

“Ah am going to survive the night alright. Just you watch.”

Naziel froze for a moment before looking at Chikane with eyes wide open, it was true that his use of his magic hand changed his appearance somewhat, his eyes that once shone red, now were an aquatic blue, his hair no longer white but a deep ocean blue. He looked at his master in her new form. Everything about her was completely different to who he had met, she had a weird accent, a peculiar choice of clothes and he could feel his head exploding with questions.

He looked at her for a moment with curious eyes before walking up to her and grabbing her arm gently but applying pressure that no one could see; "If you'll excuse me my lord! We must make our preperations!" Naziel shot him a warm smile before dragging Chikane around a secluded corner as his aura became very dark; "Where is Chikane... Tell me now and if you have harmed her I will tear your body into pieces." His voice was ice cold and emotionless as he eyes gave a glimmer of their former red, making them a menacing purple as he stared at her. He was not sure if this was some kind of trick or something but he wanted to know now.

Chikane was taken by complete surprise when Naziel decided to grab her tightly by the arm. Yelping out of shock, the flame mage was helpless as she was dragged away by the water dragon slayer. She was variably confused, as he had gone his own changes from using his dragon force. Now she had done something to change and he obviously had questions, but did he have to be so rough? When he released her, she rubbed her arm and pouted slightly.

“Now Sugah, you gonna have to be a bit easier on momma’s poor arms now.” Chikane spoke in her accent again, trying to not glare daggers at Naziel since it technically wasn’t his fault. The brown haired half-demon sighed and ran her right hand through her hair as she looked at Naziel again. “And about mah changes…...Ah think it’s hard for me to abduct myself hun.” She said sheepishly with a small chuckle, as she lit her right hand in a red fire. The fire danced in her hand before changing to a blue flame, and then a purple one. It snuffed out when she clenched it tightly and sighed. “This is mah true self. Ah had to change a lot of mahself so Ah seemed like Ah was from somewhere where they taught us how to speak like you. Ah apologize for the trickery, but Ah wasn’t completely safe with mahself. But now Sugah, Ah’m more comfortable with how Ah am and where Ah am from. Sorry if this made you confused, Ah ain’t the simplest girl though.” Chikane bowed in apology to Naziel, hoping that he would understand.

Otherwise she would have him watching her every move until she managed to prove to him that she was ultimately his guild master. And that would only get them killed on this mission, if not badly wounded.

Naziel looked at her for a moment watching how should change her fire just like Chikane, he examined her more closely as he sniffed her. She smelled exactly the same, so this really was Chikane that stood in front of him. He stepped back; "Well you smell identical so I guess it'll have to do, plus you use her magic but that is all I can recognize from you." He sighed as he scratched his head. He decided he had to make his point made as he stepped up his body only a matter of a few centimeters from hers, their noses almost touching as he looked into her eyes; "Stop hiding things from us... This I can vouch for you with the guild members... But why does the council need us here? You will have to start telling me truth eventually Master." His eyes were calm but showed the pain he felt as if he were a child finding out he had been lied too and betrayed, yet his voice remained gentle and calm.

He stepped back with a frown; "I trust Chikane more than anyone... But... THIS ISN'T THE CHIKANE I KNOW!" Naziel could feel his tears forming in his eyes; "I'm looking at a completely different person here! You don't even sound the same! All the time we have spent togeather... I- I was Falling... In.." Naziel's voice faded off as he slammed his fist into the stone wall behind him with a growl before abruptly turning and headed back out into the open area leaving his Master behind him, heading towards where Goliath stood with his entourage of Werewolves. Naziel put his hands in his pockets as he began to make his approach. Naziel was angry, he had thought himself closer to Chikane than any other member of the guild so why could she not entrust this information to him? Why was she keeping secrets? "Why Chikane! Why now! Shit! I wanted you and me... ARGH!" He was screaming in his head as he could feel an anger building inside him, a fire. He gritted his teeth as he got close and looked at the Giant Werewolf still in his human form before walking past him towards the high ground where he would wait for nightfall. His wait would not be for long, the day would soon turn to night.

Chikane could only sigh after Naziel’s little moment, watching the dragon slayer leave with a small frown on her face. He didn’t see past the new appearance, and instead said that she was hiding things from them when she should have trusted them. What his one failure was thinking that she didn’t trust them, in fact he should have figured he was one of her most trusted members. This wasn’t something she had hidden from them alone, this was something she hid from EVERYONE for a long time. Showing him before anyone else was basically putting all of her trust in him, and he was failing her by only focusing on his hurt feelings. This was something that she did so she could get him to know more about the real her, and yet he had ran off because he was slightly confused?

‘Calm yourself Chikane.’ She berated herself mentally. ‘Sugah just needs time to adjust and notice how tough this was for you as well. No matter what, he’s still a young man trying to adjust to the changes in life. When he understands, he’ll apologize for his outburst or somethin. No matter, you need to get yourself in a ready state anyways.’ Chikane started to think about how she could prepare, and then came up with a grand idea.

As night became prevalent, Chikane was in the center of the village in a meditation pose. The sounds of the werewolves became more obvious, and the guild master left herself in a vulnerable position in order to weed as many of them as she possibly could out. It was semi-successful, drawing out 10 tough looking lycans who seemed out for blood. They began to circle Chikane as she sat and meditated, seemingly out of touch with reality.

'Monster Dice' :

Naziel sat on the hilltop overlooking the hilltop with narrowed eyes as his blue scarf blew in the wind as he stared down seeing Chikane sitting out in the open in her new form or was it her old form? The young Dragon Slayer had so many thoughts flowing through his head as he put his hand up to his lips as his fangs sank down into the skin as a small trickle of blood came from it he clenched his fist. It was then that he heard the first howls; "So... It begins." He noticed the movement in the Shadows that began to encircle Chikane.

Naziel's eyes widened as he noticed that his Guild Master was just sitting there; "Move you fool!" He thought to himself as he sprang forward in a sprint down the hill. As he began to reach the bottom of the hill he was moving at breakneck speeds as he used a small mound to launch himself into the air, landing on a roof. As Naziel charged he finally saw where the Werewolves were encircling Chikane, before oneprepared and propelled itself forward with jaws open wide as it leapt.



Naziel reached the edge of the roof as he saw the monster crouch and attack. All that could be heard over the sound of the wolf howls was the roar of a Dragon as Naziel bounded from the rooftop; "ARRRRRH! GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER!" He cried as he came crashing into the ground with an explosion as the dust flew around the area, all that could be seen and heard was a deep growl coming from Naziel's chest as he stood upon the back of the crushed Werewolf as it whined; "I said... Get away from her." Naziel's expression was cold and angry as he looked around him realizing the Fairies were surrounded.

Chikane smiled when she heard Naziel return to attack one of the werewolves who had decided to jump at the flame mage. It was great that he had decided to come back at that exact moment, although the guild master could easily have knocked the wolf aside and continued with her meditation. But now wasn’t the time for that, now was the time to take out a pack of werewolves. And seeing as how another one decided to be brave and rush at Naziel’s unprotected back, Chikane decided it was time to show how much she could actually see with her eyes supposedly ‘closed’.

The brown haired guild master immediately shot up, at speeds no one could really notice unless you had trained to watch for that kind of stuff, and stuck her arm out for the werewolf to run into. When it did hit her arm, it flipped mid air before flying over Naziel and hitting one of the other pack members, sending both of them flying away from the Fairy Tail duo. Chikane stood tall and proud, Naziel still behind her, the guild master looked over her shoulder at him in order to speak. “We will have a discussion later about what happened. You and I need a long talk about what you were going to say.” Chikane spoke over her shoulder before turning back to the werewolves and igniting her hands on fire, smirking as she did so. “But for now, it is time to fight these guys. Don’t let me down Naziel.” And with that, the guild master charged towards a trio of werewolves. She was a bit worried about how the water dragon slayer being able to handle his own, but she knew that it was all just in her head. He could definitely take them on with no problem, and as long as she didn’t mess up this should all end up fine.

And then the two could have their talk.

Naziel looked over his shoulder with a flat expression, he didn't know how to deal with Chikane right now. But the job came first. This domestic situation could be dealt with later and that 'talk' would be an awkward one at that. Naziel gave a light nod before letting out a roar of anger as he turned to her as a magic circle appeared around his fist; " You... Bastard! Water Dragon Pressure Fist!" He cried as his hands became coated in his pressure pure water. His fist pulled back as he fired it forward. He was aiming directly for Chikane's face but at the last second it missed her face by centimeters as it crashed into a Werewolf that had tried to come up behind Chikane. He merely looked into her eyes as passed her with his speed causing wind to explode up behind him laying into the Werewolf and the two others that tried to take their counterparts flanks in support! " I'll kick the crap out of every last one of ya!" He snarled as he threw lightning punch after punch laying into all three in a tremendous volley before watching the Trio fall several of the wolves began to snarl, snapping their jaws but stepping back. "I'm fired up." Naziel spoke in a low voice.

Chikane took the fight right to the wolves, wasting little to no time taking them down. It wouldn’t do to keep her mind occupied on what happened earlier, so these guys should provide a worthy distraction from Naziel for the moment. Thinking about him made her heart race a bit, so when she accidentally headbutted one of the wolves with extreme force it snapped her back into reality. The wolf was thrown back violently, to which the flame mage sheepishly rubbed the back of her head and looked at its friends. “Uhm…….Ah’m guessin’ that you didn’t like what Ah just did to your friend huh?” The wolves growled violently at her, and charged the guild master, which made her sigh briefly.

“Ah thought so.”

Chikane twisted around a few claw strikes that were aimed for her, keeping a hand on her blade at all times. While the urge to pull it out was strong, she knew that she could very well slice the poor beasts into nothing if she wasn’t careful. So instead, she focused on trying to find an opening to use a few weaker spells and just knock them back. However, one almost struck her in the face, which did not sit well with the guild master at all. “Ah really hope you did not just try that ya bastard!” The wolf attempted another claw strike, which was responded to by Chikane grabbing its wrist and twisting it painfully. “Now ya made me mad!” She punched the werewolf twice in the face, causing a nose break and knocking the poor thing out completely. Noticing what she did, Chikane was about to apologize before she ducked a lunge by the third wolf in the group. Once again it was mostly the guild master avoiding hitting the wolf, but she eventually tripped it up before slamming her leg across it’s unprotected chest. The wolf wasn’t finished and managed to get back up, but Chikane wanted it to fall quickly. So she struck it twice with hard blows, causing it to stagger and barely be able to stand, before she used her Dragon Kick spell to knock it away one last time. It hit a hut, knocking a wall down but also knocking the wolf clean out.

“Now that is what Ah’m talkin’ ‘bout!”

Naziel was dealing with a nasty looking werewolf that was particularly fast, swiping and diving into houses so he lost line of sight often; "This is becoming a nuisance! Stop hiding dammit!" Naziel shouted with his teeth bared. He noticed that Chikane was getting some more attention than he had initially anticipated. He looked over at her before dodging one Werewolves swipe as he drove his fist into its Diaphragm before the Dragon Slayer hit his back with hers; "Let's fall back for a moment until we have a better strategy, we need to outlast the night... Not get a flood all in one place!" Naziel tapped her shoulder before charging towards a fortified Stone building with a thick oak door; "Head for the keep and we'll make our plans inside! GO!" Naziel cried as he gained a slash across his forearm before driving his knee into the monsters chin knocking it out cold. The remaining Werewolves seemed to be sinking back into the shadows to wait for their next attack.

Chikane started backpedaling to watch the rest of the wolves with a careful eye. The guild master was no fool, she knew for a fact that more of them were just lying in wait for the duo to find. Maybe they were setting up an ambush of some kind? Whatever the case was, Chikane wasn’t going to go in anywhere unprepared. When she felt something hit her back, her head snapped immediately to the side to see what she might have collided with. When she figured out that it was Naziel’s back, she calmed slightly and nodded to what he had said. It was true, they would need a plan in order to stay alive and healthy throughout the night. Fighting them head on might work for now, but when the numbers game really was against them it would be wise to come up with a plan of attack. The flame mage covered Naziel’s back as he ran towards the keep, watching the werewolves carefully until she knew they were out of range. One could never be too careful, as she had learned from her teacher on many occasions when he would hit her while she was doing everyday tasks.

Who would think to be on the defensive while eating in the safety of their own room?

Chikane turned on a dime and started to run after Naziel, catching up to him but still lagging behind barely. She was doing that on purpose, wanting him to be in the lead for now. While she could easily take control, the guild master thought about how none of her members would ever be able to grow if she always took the lead. Sometimes it was better to be the chess pieces instead of the player, giving the controls to someone else and just going with the flow.

It hadn’t done her wrong yet, so she wouldn’t complain.

Naziel bolted for the open door like it was the stairway to heaven, he flicked past various Werewolves as they attempted to stop his and Chikane's escape. The water Dragon used their like vaults as he leapt across each one, ducking a diving his way through until the opening was only a few feet away; "We gotta go now!" He cried as he leapt into the doorway and Chikane followed suit. Naziel kicked the large Oak door hard as it slammed closed, picking himself up to force the bolts across the locks as loud thuds hit the solid door with growls and snarls.

Naziel lets out a loud sigh as he drops his head for a moment and slides down the door. The room was dark except for a few lit candles, the room was empty excluding some chairs and a small table, there was a small jug of water that sat in the center with some chains and collars scattered around the room. It was clear that whomever lived here had made an effort to stop themselves from leaving their home and becoming the mindless beasts that now prowled the village outside.

The water Dragon got up and walked over picking up the jug and putting it down next to Chikane; "Have a drink, it's going to be a long night." His voice was gentle but commanding as he smiled at her. He had to put what he had witnessed behind him, she was after all his Guild Master and nothing was going to sway his loyalty, even though she talked funny and looked different, she still had the same smell. The sweet smell that was always around her as well as her aura which always seemed so calm and collected. Naziel moved over towards the door as he began to blush slightly thinking about her.

Chikane rushed inside the building after Naziel, just barely making it in time to avoid the onslaught of werewolves that had tried to attack the duo. Chikane wasn’t winded, but instead started to walk around the room that they had ran into. “How lovely….” She joked, but in all seriousness the flame mage was quite shocked at how far the people in this village went to make sure that they didn’t harm each other. Of course it didn’t work, but it was surprising that they would keep themselves chained like beasts in order to ensure that they didn’t harm their friends and family. She sighed and walked over to the chairs that were spread around, ignoring the sad atmosphere.

“Ah’ll take a drink later. Ah’m not really thirsty at this moment.” Chikane stated as she took a seat on one of the chairs and sighed. While she could go and deal with most of the lycans at the moment, she would rather let Naziel plan for how they would go about this job. The flame mage raised her hand and lit it on burning flames, lighting more of the room up than what was currently available with the small candles. She placed her chin on her free hand and gave Naziel a look that was curious.

“Soooo Sugah, got a plan to get us outta here?” The guild master knew he could come up with something, it was just a matter of what it would be that got her curious. This was enemy territory, with an unknown number of enemies and barely any knowledge on the landscape. While Chikane could even the odds incredibly, she wanted to know what the water dragon slayer could plan himself.

It was all a matter of him figuring out how to accomplish this mission.

Naziel leant against the wall and closed his eyes considering the paths that they may take to get out of this mess. He considered the roles that the pack would play, to think as the predator and not the prey. He knew full well that they had to move as a unit to utilize their destructive capability which would mean that they would have members circling the town to make sure they didn't leave but also to keep their territory safe. No doubt the pack would be planning a trap of some kind to catch them off guard.

His closed eyes enhanced his senses as he opened them with a grunt before going to his knees and putting his head to the floor; "There's water running under here... That will be our way out. Once out we separate for a moment making them believe we are fleeing, we circle back and attack each others followers." He shrugged at the idea as it wasn't his best but it was most certainly effective. He had seen bears and other beasts utilise such tactics before so why wouldn't it work now?

He looked back at the floor smoothly running his hands over the cobbled surface. "We need to get down there. So do you wanna bust it open or shall I?" He grinned at the Guild master playfully. Anything to do with destruction Fairy Tail mages knew pretty much as a second nature. It didn't take long for members of Fairy Tail to bust through stuff.

Chikane simply cleaned her nails as Naziel began to speak of his plan. Truthfully the flame mage knew that there was running water underneath them, but wanted to see how far Naziel got with planning. Impressed that he managed to get as far and without much complications, Chikane nodded her head towards his plan. “Not exactly the greatest or most effective plan, but I believe that it should suffice for what we need it to.” Chikane stepped out and started tapping her foot randomly on the floor. This method of doing things had two proper responses to what might have been happening. In the first case, Chikane might have been losing her mind completely and was tapping on the floor like a madwoman. Not necessarily the biggest problem, but something Naziel might have wanted to look out for in the future. But the second case, which was indeed what she was doing, was that the flame mage had began to look for a weak spot in the floor. When she found one weak enough to her liking, she raised her right leg up in the air, seeming to do sort of a splits motion, before lowering her now flame covered foot to destroy the floor. Smirking, Chikane looked back at Naziel.

“Does that answer your question?” The hole began to rapidly expand, and thus more of the bottom could be seen. “You take the lead here. Ah’ll take the back and make sure nothin happens that I can’t control hun.” Well, that was half of why she was staying back. The other half was to assess the damage caused by breaking the floor, and how much would come out of their payment for the mission. She sure hoped it wasn’t a lot, but then again that was wishful thinking for any Fairy Tail mage.

Destruction came naturally to them better than anything.
