'Monster Dice' :

"Alexei-san, is there a problem?" The girl asked Alexei, frowning.
After deliberating for a few more seconds, he spoke. "No," he said softly, "the opposite. I think-"
Just as he was about to continue, a voice rang out from the other side of the door. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Ojou-samaaaaaaaaaa HELPPPPPP!!!!!!”


Alexei made a small choking noise before getting up, irritated at being interrupted. "Why now?" He muttered, shuffling through his bag and pulling out a small pouch. Opening the pouch, Alexei pulled out a regular sowing needle and latched the loop onto his pinky before opening the door to let whoever yelled in.


He was surprised at what he saw. A girl in a maid outfit was running around the edge of the lake, a bull trailing behind. He let out a tremendous sigh. "Why are people so stupid?" He mumbled, although he ran out the door to help the poor girl anyway. "Over here, ugly!" He shouted, trying to get the bull's attention.

"Ahhh!" Ania squeaked as the scream rang out. She bowed her head in fear and put up her hands to her ears as her hair covered her face.
"Why now?" Alexei muttered, irritated at being interrupted. Ania heard him do something but she wasn't able to see what. She only pulled her head up when the sound of the door creaked open.
Panicked, Ania quickly stood up to cower behind Alexei. She followed him even when he ran out of the door. There she saw a maid being chased by a bull. Without thinking twice, Ania stared at the monster, emphasized the sound produced by the maid,and deafened the bull.
The monster staggered. It still gave chase to its prey, but it was now much much more slower and probably deaf for a time.

“Ugly!!!” Abigail complained as a young man taunted the monster. “Even if it’s a monster, I would rather if you bring your manners with you” She enlarged her eyes to prove her seriousness with the topic, when a loud sound came from the woods.
“Ahhhhhh!!!!!” The sound, that was like a certain scream from a character who had lived his life in the forest, came from a 12 year old female, that was swinging wildly from a vine, holding a certain weapon that was obviously deadly.
“Ojou-sama, get down from there!!” The maid shouted, advancing from her attacker since it was mysteriously staggering.
“Tsumujiguruma!!!!” Marielle replied, ignoring her guardians plea once more.
The weapon spun from the child’s hand, and with great force, the young lady threw her weapon towards the enemy. When it hit. Marielle swung down from her vine and landed gracefully besides the persons who went out of the house.
“You two are mages right?” she said, putting a hand up as her weapon spun back to her. “A little help, maybe”
She said a lot proudly, charging towards the bull once more.

"Umm..." Ania worried, as Alexei ran to help fight the bull. She shifted from foot to foot, not knowing what to do. "A-a-a...."
Ania's body shook from fear and unconsciously activated her magic that concealed her and her magic presence. She ran behind a tree, where she cowered behind it.
Gazing up, the snow-white haired mage saw the movement of the tree's leaves, waving off in all directions.
An idea struck her.
Quickly, she imagined, a big red cape, waving in the wind, as a soft orange light enveloped the leaves, turning Ania's imagination into reality.
Ania looked at the bull as the cape's movement enraged it.
The monster, snorted. Forgot its deafness, and charged right into the tree.

Marielle attacked, dashing with her rapier pointed at the enemy. She side-stepped along the way as the bull rushed with his horns. Wild-heartedly the young girl laughed, whipping her sword without care as one of the mages charged with her.
“Glad to have you onboard” she saluted, leaping at the bull with force and thrusting her weapon at his side.
The monster made a loud growl. Its eyes red with fire of anger. Marielle took her weapon out and the crimson blood flowed from its side. The young girl jumped out of the bull’s reach, as it scratched the ground with one of its front hooves.
“Oh- oh” Marielle said as the enemy prepared for his attack.
The bull snorted smoke from his ringed nose, looked at Marielle’s direction with its evil black eyes and just like lighting… Dashed!

Marielle anticipated the attack, she somersaulted in the air even before the monster could get near.
Unfortunately, to her disappointment, the bull passed her.
“What?” The Sky mage complained, irritated at being ignored. “Great, you like that big waving cape more than me… Really?!”
