Augusts intro

The Rune Knight's headquarters, a place that August never would've have imagined to end up. Not as the free spirit he was. Yet after three years of traveling around Earthland he was changed a bit, not that his behavior was drastically changed. No not at all, he was still the laid back type of person he was before. The person that would have his innocent fun at the expense of others.
However his years of traveling did give him something else he never had before, a goal, something to pursue. Something that he himself could never achieve if he stayed at Fairy Tail.

So now he was standing at Rune Knight main hall, just after he had gone through the recruitment speech and the tons of forms that came with it. Luckily for him the attire that came with the Rune Knights was not really necessary since he already wore the same colors. So for I'm the only thing was to patch his clothing with the Rune Knight insignia.

Now all he had to do was to wait and see who would tour him around. And bring him to his squadron leader.

Vierorin barreled into the lobby running away from Zekkaria, he had accidentally caught a tree on fire while carelessly messing around with his magic. "I've told you time and time again! You can't carelessly wave that magic around you foolish boy!!" He tripped over himself and fell on his face. Zekkaria then landed on the back of his head and then clamped down on his right ear with both of her Pincers. He squirmed for a moment and then noticed someone had came in, he looked up at the man and said, "Um.. Hello there and welcome to the Rune Knights... My name is Vierorin Gorak... and my companion on the back of my head is Zekkaria..." Zekkaria clamped down harder on his ears once more and then turned to the newcomer, and nodded her head at him.

Cathrine came running into the lobby a few seconds behind Vierorin her shotgun raised and loaded with its water ammo. Vierorin had been messing around eirlyer and set a tree on fire. Luckily Zekkaria had quickly put it out, butnot before Cathrine had pulled out her shotgun and filed it with water ammo. So now, insted of trying to put out the fire, she was trying shoot Vierorin.

When Cathrine came into the lobby, she saw the fire mage talking to a person she had not seen itn the Rune Knight Head Quarters before. "Hello I'm Cathrine, are you here to join, pr are you here to ask for our help?"

'Hey there' replied August back with a rather warm smile 'Well nice to meet you Vierorin, I'm August.'

August was pleased that Rune Knights didn't appear so stiff as he thought them to be. As a man that introduced himself as Vierorin Gorak had walked up to him and introduced himself. However the moment August started to reply they were interrupted by a young girl, who still had her shotgun aimed at her colleague as she introduced herself as well.

On the back of August's head appear an anime sweat drop as he looked from the shotgun towards the girl holding it. A bit worried that she was some sort of trigger happy fanatic. 'Ehm... hi' he replied with a bit of a reserved tone. 'I'm August, the new transfer from Fairy Tail.'

It seems that his previous guild wasn't all that more peaceful then the Rune Knight headquarters.

In truth, the Rune Knight Headquarters was only in disarray due to rebuilding efforts going on around the area. This was plainly obvious as those initiated Rune Knights going into and out from the building held themselves with a sense of maturity and the poise of veterans used to putting their lives on the line.

Trundling by at that point was a long procession of the standard rank-and-file soldiers of Fiore's army, carrying boxes of what could only be considered machine parts and lacrima. Overseeing them, an average-sized man with a clipboard. He wandered between differing areas of the main lobby, supervising construction and upgrading efforts being carried out as well as checking off the stream of supplies coming in through the doors.

One eye fixed on the nonstandard commotion going on near the front desk, causing the auburn-haired man to move closer to the group until he was standing above them with a quirked eyebrow. He passed the clipboard off to an attendant who had been entirely obscured behind and then reached down to straighten his uniform.

Left hand lifted, causing his Archive's main terminal to come off of hibernation as he tapped a few buttons on the console and read the results with a glance of his eyes - taking in the profiles and identities of the three standing before him, proof of how quick information traveled at the Headquarters. "Cadets Remington, Gorak, and Joy. I am Colonel Reldaphos, Head of the Intelligence Division of the Rune Knights. While on-duty or not in the barracks, do remember to wear your uniforms." He cast another look over them. "... The use of offensive magics is frowned upon within the building, we have a training yard where you can go wild, so try not to set anything alight again Cadet Gorak. Likewise, quick thinking in handling the situation caused by your fellow cadet, Joy. We must always look out for one another."

Jerrishan collapsed the Main Terminal into its Portable Terminal form and let it become completely transparent, keeping a screen off to his side. "I am, however, not here to particularly scold you so much as remind you of the decorum that should have been explained to you already. Thanks to Acnologia's attack and the losses that we, Era, and all of Fiore have incurred as a result, we are bringing in new blood during a turbulent time. As such, overall levels of strictness are down. However..." He fixed those before him with a steely look. "We are still the elite arcanists of Fiore's military, and the militant chamber to the Magic Council directly. Have pride in your new duties, and make sure that you look the part. We are not a mage guild, we are not mercenaries. We protect the civilians from rogue mages and mage guilds, and carry out the will of the Council. Try to be presentable most times, we do not want Council members seeing us as a patchwork quilt instead of an effective and uniform peacekeeping force."

He finished speaking to the new recruits, and waited to hear what they had to say. As the last surviving Division Head of the Rune Knights he was currently the highest-ranked Knight in the building - he had more objectively important things to do with his time as one might imagine, but Jerri knew he should spare some time give the newcomers a taste of what was to come. ... Maybe a tour. No one knew the complex better than he.
