The life of servitude (Private- Ophelia, Ni-Ju, Abigail)

Ni-Ju stood outside the gates of the Katulai Mansion, awaiting the arrival of the new maid.
Really hope she is a nice person He thought wryly to himself, envisioning a a seven foot tall ogre of a woman with manners resembling the beasts of the wild. Looking out towards the road he could see someone making their way toward the manor.

"Why are you waiting?" A voice called from behind Ni-Ju. Ophelia walked towards the front gates of her manor. She wore an elegant white floppy sunhat that had a floral printed bow wrapped around the hatband along with a cream colored sheath dress that stopped at her knees and hugged her curves. Her open toed stilettos clicked along the ground as she approached her butler. "Oh, and here she comes now." The noblewoman placed her right hand on her hip as she spoke to him, "Now it's not so lonely in here, we should be lucky that she actually accepted my offer to stay here and become a maid. In fact, I think she liked the idea." She couldn't help but chuckle at his rather antsy behavior towards the new maid. "Are you intimidated, little one?"

"I can't say I'm not, mistress, I was so excited I got up early this morning and baked a cake to welcome her arrival." Ni-Ju replied, nervously straightening his tie. "But regardless of how I nervous I am, I will try my best to act in a manner becoming of a servant of the the Katulai household, Mistress Ophelia" He added, blushing just a little. Just be professional. Repeated in his head over and over as he waited for the final approach of his soon to be peer.

Abigail had just arrived in Hargeon Town in her white sundress pulling a cart filled to at least three times her height down the street and was already running late to meet the woman she'll be working for and living with in her mansion. "We wouldn't be so late if you would stop reading those romance novels." Goop said to her while he looked like a bracelet on her. "Shut up I could say the same thing with you and eating that pile of rusted metal." Abigail replied to her metal slime. It was a bit difficult to pull her large cart because she didn't want to use her magic unless she absolutely had to. She made it to her destination after about a total of ten minutes, due to her not being used to this town's layout yet. She saw the woman she'll be working for and standing next to her was the person she'll be working with. "I am terribly sorry about being late. I'm not used to this town yet so I don't know my way around that well." She said bowing to them apologizing and slightly blushing about this embarrassment. "I am Abigail Nightstalker and this little guy her is my friend Goop." She said introducing herself and the metal slime to both of them.

Ni-Ju bowed low to Abigail to hide the bright red flush in his cheeks. "My name is Ni-Ju Hachi and this is our mistress, Ms. Ophelia Katulai."He said trying to hide his nervousness and for once managing to halfway succeed. "If there is anything that I can do to make your stay here more pleasant, please don't hesitate to ask. He promised. Dropping the formality a little, Ni-Ju whispered" I really hope you like cinnamon cake, Ms Abigail, I've been up since dawn preparing your welcoming party ."He whisper conspiratorially.

"Welcome welcome~" Ophelia cooed as Abigail finally arrived. "We've been waiting for you!" Immediately, the woman approached her and pinched her cheeks. "You look perfectly young and able! As Ni-Ju said, I'm Ophelia and you can refer to me by Miss Ophelia or Lady Katulai, either one is fine! My aren't you and your little slime friend just precious. Ni-Ju be a dear and prepare her clothes and nice warm meal and also prepare the feast. Are you hungry? Thirsty?" The noblewoman let go of her face and opened up the gates, she then walked back to the mansion and gestured Abigail and to follow along. "I will show you your quarters after you get all nice and comfortable~ And then after that we have a little parrttyyy~ And finally, we go over your duties!" She appeared to be rather excited as she began sauntering back to the front doors of her mansion. "Bring your things along~ I hope you don't have too much on you!"

Pulling her cart in she saw just how big the mansion really is. Placing her cart were it won't be in the way while she started to bring in her stuff to the room that was given to her. The room was rather big making it much easier on putting her stuff up. While she was putting her clothes away there was a knock on the door. "Coming" She said when she just realized she had some unmentionables in her hand. Quickly putting them back in her suitcase and closing it she then opened the door glad she avoided an embarrassing situation.
