Job: The Rarest Flower

Aaron stood on the dirt path leading into the so-called spooky forest. It certainly did live up to its name, with crawling mist and unnatural levels of darkness beneath the trees. Aaron looked down at the paper in his hands, it had an image of a small flower on it, the one that he was supposed to be searching for. Underneath the picture the phamacist had scribbled something about wolves. Unfortuantely they had refused to go into detail about the wolves and what dangers they could pose. Aaron looked back at the forest and sighed. He might as well get this over with. He reached behind his back and pulled his scythe free, he had a feeling that he would be needing it soon.

Aaron began to walk up the path, and soon he was surrounded by the darkness of the forest. He could hear rustling all around him, though he didn't really pay attention. Aaron knew that anything truly dangerous would be stealthy, and so he could ignore the more obvious sounds of other animals foraging. He continued walking for a while, when he heard a soft sound behind him, like that of fur brushing against a limb. That sound was a lot quieter, and much more likely to be dangerous... Aaron braced himself, holding his scythe in a postion to strike at any moment.

Aaron ducked and raised his scythe over him in an overhead slice just as he heard the wolf leap from behind him. As the wolf soared over him he felt his scythe sink into the belly of the wolf and drag through its gut. His scythe caught on a bone and pulled the wolf backwards, along the arc of the blade, Aaron followed through with the slice and slammed the wolf on the ground. It was obvious as he ripped the blade back away from the body it was very clear that the wolf was dead. Aaron stood back up and looked around, He could see three other wolves that had come out of the trees to surround him. He heard what sounded like another wolf growling behind him, but as he whipped around to face the threat he was knocked aside by an immense paw, the impact threw him against a tree and knocked his breath from him, but he quickly recovered. He stood once again to see that the three normal wolves were once again advancing, but what drew his attention was the immense monster that was slowly walking behind them, as if it was directing them. Aaron tensed, and then relaxed just enough to get a hold on his magic.

All right, it's fairly obvious I won't win with brute strength, so I guess It's time to start using my magic huh. Aaron raised his hand up into the air and pointed straight up. Void Arena. A purple magic circle formed around his finger, and a black substance began to jet out, then it seemed to explode out as a black dome formed around the wolves and Aaron.
