Elijah stood outside of the mansion, he was supposed to take a date to. The date was supposedly some noble woman, who was seemingly very rude and a mean person. Not someone Elijah would like to be at a ball together, honestly there was only one person he would like to be together with on at a ball, and that was Janneline. But she wasn't here, so he would have to deal with this stuck up noble girl. They would probably be younger than Elijah as well, so that wasn't very good, well he didn't mind, at all really, just when it came to nobles, the older ones were usually nicer.

As he stood there, a white carriage pulled up in front of the mansion and a girl in a red dress walked out. She had brown hair and was quite tall, with a fairly fine chest. The dress was very stuck to the girl's body.

Elijah was quite impressed by the look of the lady, though it seemed like this girl was only going on her looks. Which was okay, he guessed at least. As she approached, Elijah bowed to her and gave her his hand, which she hesitantly took. Not even an hello was done in between them, both stood silent. Guess it was a mutual response between the two, something Elijah hadn't expected to happen. He knew this girl was going to be cold, but this cold, no this was too much. There had to be a way to cheer her up and make her be nice and sweet again. There just had to be and Elijah would find this way during this short night.

When they entered the building, the girl looked up to Elijah, as expecting for him to do something. But it was another reason, she was checking the guy's looks, to see if he fitted for her escort. ''At least you look quite nice, the people back at home were right about something for once.''

Elijah was kinda surprised at the compliment, wasn't he warned that this girl was just horrible in nature and would try to demoralize him. Well it didn't seem like it to Elijah, it just looked like that the girl was different, maybe not in a good way, but still, just different. This didn't really phase him at all, as now he could actually talk to the girl and see the problems she was having. But first, he needed something to drink.

''Come with me.'' He took the girl's hand and pulled her to a table. ''I'll go and get us something to drink, you wait here, i'll be right back.'' And without hearing her response, Elijah was off to find something to end his thirst with. And he did find something, two classes filled with champagne. It wasn't really something he enjoyed to drink, but it would have to do for now. As there wasn't anything else.

As Elijah, got back to the table, the girl was sitting there quietly, playing with her hair. He handed her a glass and sat down next to the girl. Taking a sip from the drink, Elijah couldn't held back his questions. ''I wanted to ask, why are you called so rude, from what i have seen of you, you look really nice and not rude at all.'' The girl's eyes widened over this, it seemed like no one had cared to ask that before. She was still silent, not wanting to budge.

''Where are my manners, i never introduced myself. The name is Rendlev, Elijah Rendlev.'' He knew it sounded silly to say his name like that, but he couldn't help it. Now though, the girl seemed to have enjoyed that and a sly smile appeared on her face. ''My name is Elizabeth and you are right, i'm not rude as people think i am, though, i am just not cut out for a lifestyle like this, so i act rebellious or well my aunt says so.''

Elijah couldn't help but to have a small smile on his face, due to the talk. He had been right, there had been a reason to Elizabeth's actions and her seemingly rude personality. It was an act from what he understood. ''You know Elizabeth, i was quite like you a few years ago, the same problem, but the stuff happened and that ended. But the point i'm trying to get across here, is that you should talk to your family about it, if they really do love you, they will understand what you are telling them and they won't criticizes you about it.'' 

The girl looked a little baffled about this, not sure how to react to what the guy had just said, though happiness was visible in her face. Pure happiness. She wasn't able to say anything from the looks of it, but there was no need to, she was just happy and that was good. ''I'll do it.'' Was all she said.

Elijah had a wide smile on his face now and decided to cheer up the girl even more. He got up and held his hand out towards her. ''May i have this dance?'' The girl nodded happily and took Elijah's hand. With that, Elijah pulled her to the dance floor, where the two started to dance. Elizabeth looked incredibly happy and relaxed now, for some reason, she seemed happy in the companionship of a vampire, out of all the people here. But Elijah didn't mind, although this was getting a little too touchy, not that he didn't like it, but he wanted to be like this with Janna and no one else. 

But he wasn't going to ruin this girls' fun, so he let her continue, this night wasn't going to last long anyways, maybe like a few more hours. And tomorrow i have another job. With that thought, Elijah let out a sigh, not loud enough, for anyone to hear.
