It was a normal day in Hargeon, the town that housed the Lamia Scale guild. Peaceful one could say really. Nothing was really happening and people were minding their normal lives, like every other day. No one really bothered to cause anything in this city, as there was a legal guild situated here. A fairly powerful legal guild at that. Dark mages, well the ones in guilds at least, weren't so stupid to just waltz in and start causing mayhem. That would really be stupid, too stupid to be honest.
But there was a dark mage in this city, a dark mage recognized by the magic council. He was in this town, for only one reason. To acquire a passport, of which he could then use to travel to the other countries in Earthland. It would be a fairly tedious task, as getting one seemed difficult for a dark mage. Especially one that had wanted posters of him up. Of course no one really wanted to arrest him yet, he was merely recognized by people, as an evildoer. This man was Indar Blackshield, a mage of the notorious dark guild Savage Skull. Though he hadn't been part of that guild for some time, he still had managed to climb onto a high spot in it. One of the pillars of Savage Skull, was quite the title for a mage.
Although, getting a passport meant having a disguise. Which Indar had already taken care of. He had gotten different clothes, not his regular blue jacket, instead he was wearing a suit. And well, he had combed his hair backwards, which was a rare occasion. Indar also was wearing a monocle on his right eye and had a fake mustache and beard on. The guy had dressed up as a noble gentleman. He looked strange like that, but he wasn't being noticed, so it was working.
He made his way to the office, where they were giving passports to people. Indar really appeared like some noble, people got out of his way quietly and quickly. It was quite humorous to Indar and he was really tying to hold back the laugh. After a few minutes of waiting behind the two people in front of him, Indar made his way to the desk of the official. It was getting a little strange now, as Indar had to do something horrid. Come up with a fake name. This was bad, very very bad. He hadn't got a clue what to say or how to say it.
''Sir, could i get your name, i can't give out a passport without it.'' The official wasn't noticing Indar's nervousness. But the guy gathered his courage, placed one of his hands onto the table and said. ''My name is Sir Edward Lemmington.'' It could have been a lot worse, like a lot worse. But strangely, it went through. The man behind the desk wrote in the name and handed Indar the passport. Indar grabbed the passport and quickly walked out of the building. He made his way into an alley, tore off the fake beard and messed up his hair again, though he kept on the monocle, he really liked it.
''So, my name on this is Edward Lemmington. I really should have come up with something more normal.''
