Job: The Rarest Flower [Adrien Fionn (Blood Bird) & Zenshin Hitsumo (Zenshin)]

Adrien sat on a log at the edge of the so called Spooky Forest, dressed in his usual attire of a black blazer with matching dress trousers, a blood red dress shirt, black neck tie and white sneakers. He ran his fingers through naturally spiked snow white hair, he sighed with relief as he took a deep breath of the forest air, it eased the feeling of homesickness he had been feeling ever since his visit to Oak Town a few weeks ago. the thoughts of the events that happened at Oak Town brought a smug smirk to his face but it quickly faded with a stern expression that showed he was deep in thought, his guild master Zenshin Hitsumo had asked him to go on this mission with him that was given to the Sabertooth guild by a medicinal shop in Magnolia that can't seemed unable to pay their workers enough too journey into the Spooky Forest too gather a specific type of flower needed as an ingredient in a powerful medicine which lead to them taking up the job. But it puzzled him why Zenshin had asked him to go with him on this mission as he was just a D rank when he could have asked other members to accompany him like Rin who was C almost B rank. This thought continued to confuse him rattling his mind as he waited for Zenshin to arrive.

Zenshin needed to boost the morale of his guild as well as be on the lookout for any potential future guild masters of Sabertooth. Although he already had one in mind, it didn't hurt to have multiple options. And to do that, he needed to get to know whatever guild members he had left. One of the guild members was Adrien. Adrien was a blood make mage as far as Zen was aware, or something similar to one at least, whom he hadn't really gotten to know. He's seen him around the guildhall and although he might not know it himself, he's actually quite close to achieving a new level of power. What better way to get to know someone than giving them a little push to help them past a certain threshold of strength, and he had found the perfect job. They were tasked to find a herb in the forest that was quite rare but apparently quite useful in making medicine. As such, he took it upon both of them do serve the clients of the job diligently and quickly. Upon arriving at the location they had agreed on outside the Spooky Forest, Zen greeted his guild member, "Hello Adrien, thank you for taking this job with me"

Adrien stood up once Zenshin walked up to him and greeted him casually "Hello Adrien, thank you for taking this job with me" this caught Adrien off guard though his face did not reflect this as it kept a blank expression, he nodded politely in response "..........It's an honour Guild Master Hitsumo......" Adrien then looked towards the forest and studied the wild plant life around them seeing several wild flowers knowing what they were looking for would be much deeper within the forest, which raised a fact that Adrien had been overlooking until now "....Guild Master Hitsumo....please excuse me for being so direct but you or our employers have been very vague about the flower we are looking for within the forest....is this intended or perhaps just a mistake or miscommunication between all of us......."
Before Adrien could even get his answer a giant black bat three times the size of an exceed with golden eyes and sliver Celtic tribal markings died into its wings and fur along with the Sabertooth crest on its back flew onto Adrien's back clinging to him like a rucksack. "Adrien I need food quick before I start lose my grip on Doom and Jolly!" Adrien sighed but then took out a small energy snack bar made up of dried fruit from his blazer, unwrapped it, broke a piece off gave the bat. "Drac you need to be more carful." he told the Bat who tried to reply but couldn't from chewing his food. Once Drac was settled he then turned his attention to his guild master ".........My apologise Guild Master Hitsumo for my partner...Drac's...sudden interruption......"

Guild Master Hitsumo? My my... how amusing. I don't want to hear it from you Egia he thought to himself addressing the dragon that lived around his neck and didn't hesitate to mess with him when the chance presented itself. Lucky for him, the chance didn't present itself often. "There's no need to be so formal Adrien. Zenshin is fine. Or master Zenshin if you really want to refer to me as such" he said. He could deal with "Master Zenshin", but "Guild Master Hitsumo" was just too much. "I'll know it when I see it by the way, so don't worry about it. It looks like this, though, since I imagine you also want to be on the lookout for the flower." Zen said before recreating a flower that was almost identical to the one they were looking for. In his hand was a thorn-less, completely white rose that emanated a faint glow. "The flower we're looking for has small purple dots on its petals, so be vigilant" he said before beginning to walk into the forest. He'd take the lead this time, and he was sure Adrien wouldn't mind.

Adrien was slightly surprised that Zenshin didn't take notice or if he had pretended not to notice Drac's interruption, but Adrien let that trail of thought go when Zenshin spoke "There's no need to be so formal Adrien. Zenshin is fine. Or master Zenshin if you really want to refer to me as such" Adrien nodded in response to show he understood what was going on, then he answered his question about the details of the flower "I'll know it when I see it by the way, so don't worry about it. It looks like this, though, since I imagine you also want to be on the lookout for the flower." Zen told him before using his magic creating a flower that Adrien assumed was the one they were looking for 'So this is the magic of the Sabertooth's Guild Master...Recreation magic....' Adrien thought as he watched Zenshin's magic take form, he had only ever heard rumours of the magic and never saw it until today most likely due to the fact that Adrien tended to stay away from the guild hall with the exception of the times he went to get a job or the times he was meeting up with Rin there, unlike Drac who was always there if he wasn't with himself getting spoiled by the other members. In Zenshin's hand was a thorn-less, completely white rose that emanated a faint glow. "The flower we're looking for has small purple dots on its petals, so be vigilant" After Zenshin described the flower Adrien recognised it "...Woodland Perennial Rose..." He thought allowed as he began to follow Zenshin when Drac spoke up "So Adrien what's the job this time? It must be important if you are accompanying Zenshin."
"A medicinal shop in Magnolia can't seem too pay their workers enough too journey into the Spooky Forest too gather a specific type of flower needed as an ingredient in a powerful medicine, our job is to find the flower which seems to be a Woodland Perennial Rose."
"Then it seems like I had my expectations to high, that flower shouldn't be to hard to find."
"They maybe common in Seven but in this forest they maybe rare or only grow in one location within it."
"I suppose..."

So he recognized the flower? I guess he's seen it before. Or he's a botanist. I doubt it's the latter though he thought as he led on. "So where'd he find you Drac? You seem like something out of Sin. I'm curious how a large creature such as yourself could meet and befriend a person like Adrien" he said as they walked, not bothering to turn around and look back. That would be uncomfortable. Hopefully we can find this flower. I don't want to take too long on this job and have to tell them that we failed. I doubt that'll be the case. They wouldn't waste my and Adrien's time to find a flower that wouldn't be somewhere here. It's rare, not nonexistant after all Zen thought again as he stopped for a second. He blinked once and then again. "Wow, what luck. We haven't even walked five minutes and the flower is here." he said, honestly surprised that the rare flower wasn't so hard to find after all. "I guess you sometimes just win. Isn't that right you two. Haha!" he said as he used his Origin Perception on the flower in case something happened to it before picking it up and putting in a pocket inside of his coat. "Well, let's return with the good news" *Snap* I knew this was too easy... ugh

Drac shifted into the smaller version of his default bat form and perched himself on top of Adrien's head"So where'd he find you Drac? You seem like something out of Sin. I'm curious how a large creature such as yourself could meet and befriend a person like Adrien" When Zenshin addressed Drac with a question without looking back at them both Adrien and Drac turned to look at their guild master and Adrien's eyes quickly strayed away from his guild master continuing to look for the flower. "I am nothing like those beast from Sin I assure you Zenshin and being compared to them is an insult and a compliment at the same time. You see I am a nature spirit that brings both fortune and misfortune to those I choose and as for how I met Adrien...." at the mention of his name Adrien's body tensed up and he clenched his fists and Drac chuckled demonically, but only Adrien could hear it was nothing but a forced nervous laugh "Let's just say we are both from Seven."
As Drac finished up replying to Zenshin's questions they walked into an open space within a circle of trees that looked similar to a meadow with a few wildflowers in bloom in random places, Adrien quickly noticed the Woodland Perennial Rose they were sent to find but their guild master beat them to it "Wow, what luck. We haven't even walked five minutes and the flower is here." They watched him say sounding honestly surprised that the flower wasn't so hard to find due to their lucky break. "I guess you sometimes just win. Isn't that right you two. Haha!" Zenshin said as Adrien and Drac watched him used his magic on the flower before picking it up and putting in a pocket inside of his coat. While their guild master put the flower in his coat pocket Drac's ears twitched and lightly dug his claws into Adrien to let him know something hostile was coming, Adrien then picked up on the rest as he un wrapped the bandages on his hands and forearms and rolled up the sleeves of hi blazer "Well, let's return with the good news"
*Snap* a wild pack of four wolves emerged out of the trees one at each main point of a compass of where they were standing meaning one was at Zenshin's and Adrien's north, south, east and west.
"BLOOD MOULD BULLET!" In one fluid movement Adrien swung his arm aiming at the wolf at their south that was blocking their way back and from one of the scars on his arm blood flowed out of his arm and formed a sphere before condensing and firing off as fast as a bullet hitting a wolf square in the face causing a small dust cloud that disappeared within seconds, Adrien then swung his other hand in a motion that resembled a person cracking a whip "BLOOD MOULD CHAIN!" blood from scars on his other arm began flowing out forming links and condensing into a chain that he used like a whip to strike the same wolf he had shot knocking it out.
Drac on the other hand shifted back into his fully sized default bat form after flying off Adrien's head and towards the wolf at the east, dropped from above onto its back. The Drac turned into a shadowy black smoke engulfing both him and the wolf absorbing it, before the smoke reformed into Drac in the form of an black Irish wolfhound twice the size of a normal one with golden eyes. "...I thought you might want to join in the fun......Master Zenshin....so we will leave those two to you..."
Adrien told his guild master not turning to  face him. Drac then howled in agreement with Adrien's statement before growling loudly at the remaining two wild wolves of the pack making it clear that he was know the alpha but this didn't stop them from attacking Adrien and Zenshin. Adrien retracted his chain which wrapped around the arm the blood came from and then faced the remaining wolves preparing to defend himself hoping they would hit him.

OOC: the two dice rolls are to see if Adrien was able to block the attack from the remain wolves each roll represents one wolf.

Drac's passive abilities used:
Absorption of monster/animal: Wild Wolf absorbed, formed gained: D rank forest wolf, Cool-down: none due to being passive but Drac will be unable to absorb any of the remaining wild wolves.

So they're both from Seven. That would explain their knowledge of the flower he thought after the bat, thing, responded to his question. "You're right Adrien, I would like to join in on the fun. Unfortunately though, fighting these pups isn't as fun for me as it is to you. When you are stronger, we will get to go on jobs that will offer true entertainment he said, hinting at the higher ranked jobs that he hadn't posted on the guild's board since none of his members aside from Marick would be able to handle them. "But regardless, I wouldn't want to disrespect your gesture" he said before stepping forward and taunting the wolves with hand gestures. The one on the left didn't wait before charging him, which was quite a mistake. It moved quickly, but not quick enough to fool the recreationist who had taken down far greater foes.

In a single movement, the wolf took off from the ground and lept at Zenshin, who was already sliding his right foot back behind his left while turning his body. This movement could be compared to a door opening. Then, he raised his knee as quickly as possible so that it was bent at a ninety degree angle in front of him, crushing most of the bones that lined the underbelly of the beast. It let out a sharp whimper before Zenshin raised and brought down his right arm as he put his leg back down, pounding the spine of the creature while sending it into the ground. He glanced over at the other wolf that was hesitating a bit, and for good reason.

Adrien had blocked the two wolves strikes with ease using the blood chain that was wrapped around his left arm, when Zenshin responded to his statement "You're right Adrien, I would like to join in on the fun. Unfortunately though, fighting these pups isn't as fun for me as it is to you. When you are stronger, we will get to go on jobs that will offer true entertainment Adrien watched Zenshin say as he taunted the wolf to their north with a series of hand jesters which caused it to leap at him which lead to Zenshin beating up the wolf with a two strikes without using only his magic by raising his leg to knee the wolf in it's underbelly while it was mid air before striking it back to the ground by pounding the wolf's spine with his right arm.
Adrien then noticed that the wolf to their west was hesitating a bit, and for good reason after seeing what they had just done to the rest of the pack. Adrien cracked the chain making the sound of a whip and breaking a boulder near by the last wolf causing it to jump away from it whimpering followed by Drac howling a second time along with barking at the  last wolf. they then watched it run away whimpering with it's tail in between it's legs. Drac then walked over to Adrien's side before shifting back into his default form and spoke what the two of them were thinking "Well it looks like that's that...." Adrien then turned to walk back towards their way back out of the forest taking the lead back as the blood that formed the chain dispersed an flowed back into him through his scar which closed up before he rewrapped his hands and forearms in bandages and unrolled the sleeves of his blazer. Drac then flew onto his back once again "....let's go deliver this flower......"

"What a smart wolf. It's going to breed smarter and smarter wolves until they just instinctively avoid mages like us, haha. But yeah, lets get back and deliver the rose before we get ambushed again" he said, agreeing with Adrien's suggestion as he went back the way they came. They eventually ended up back at the counter of the Magnolia medicinal shop and he put the flower onto the counter of the shop and the woman attending passed him the jewels. "Thank you Saint Zenshin! I can't believe you're the one running such a menial job. You are really a Saint among saints, never too busy to help us commonfolk out" she said, praising him for being the one to go on the small job. "I appreciate that, but it was both of us. And besides, what kind of guildmaster would I be if I didn't do what I expected my members to do" he said before gesturing at Adrien to start heading for the door. They were done here.
