Kaseki and Maria's Guild Intro

Kaseki stood staring at the green object. "Is that a serpent, or a woman?" he thought to himself. "Perhaps she is inside... I must find my love, it's been so long... Y'kno, I think I'll marry her when I see her." Kaseki walked past the rocky formation and found an interesting building. He held up his piece of paper. It had a really... really... really bad drawing of the place. He nodded.

"This is Lamia Scale. Here is where master went." Kaseki said to himself.

He advanced to the doors of the building and opened them wide. He was skeptic of a guild so well hidden. He jumped behind a door, hiding himself. He peeked in to see a wide array of faces. Many of them looked at him, the rest simply carried on with their duties. Kaseki came from behind the door and walked cautiously in. He looked at all of the faces.

"...So many humans... I hope they don't notice my skin... or even my leaves..." he muttered to himself.

Such a new place to an old soul.

"Dad? Daaaaad! Where are you?!" Maria called out clearly annoyed. Where had Kaseki gone? She had just strayed from the path for about a minute and once she came back, he was gone. 'He's always leaving me behind,' she frowned as she walked aimlessly around the unfamiliar territory.

She spotted a rocky formation not far from where she was and, knowing her father, he had probably ventured out that way. She quickened her slow, steady pace and upon nearing her destination, an enormous building caught her eye. She detoured and headed off towards the place, perhaps the people occupying the place could help her find him?

She approached the open doors and peered in nervously. So many people occupied the place. She hoped they were a friendly lot. "Um... Hello. I'm Maria Zaroff," She introduced herself quickly and cautiously to the group, "I'm looking for my father, Kaseki. Could any of you please help me?"

"Maria? OH MY GOD, MARIA, I TOTALLY LEFT YOU BEHIND. Kaseki was ashamed to leave his own daughter behind. He went to the entrance quickly to welcome his own daughter. "Maria, I'm sorry. I just saw this green thing and well... Here we are. He smiled.

He reached out to hug her. "I'm so glad we can finally be together, as father and daughter. he stopped to look at her. He never really noticed the blond of her hair, or her skin, or eyes... "Maria, if you're my daughter, then why do we look so different?"

"It's totally fine, dad." Maria sighed, "And green thing? Strange... I didn't notice a green thing...oh..." Her father easily got distracted, but she was used to it. Kaseki was almost like a small child that she babysat, but it was alright....sometimes...

Kaseki then reached out give her hug. "I'm so glad we can finally be together, as father and daughter." He said before he moved a bit away from her and took a good look at her. It was as if he was seeing something for the first time. "Maria, if you're my daughter, then why do we look so different?" He asked clearly puzzled. Maria frowned, it wasn't a new thought but it wasn't one she dwelled too long either. "I don't know... Maybe I was adopted?" It would make sense seeing that they looked nothing alike.

"Dad? What is this place?" She asked him as she tried to veer from the topic, "What's a building doing in a lone place like this?"

"What's a building doing in a lone place like this?" Maria had asked him. "Well, dear... aren't we here to find out?" Kaseki smiled. Maria was one of the few that could actual see from under the shade of his hood. She saw through his bone mask. "I guess so... Why is there all this marble here?" Kaseki looked around at her question. It was something he noticed, but paid no attention to.

"I haven't a clue. Let's ask someone." Kaseki spoke.

Today a strange pair entered Lamia Scale. On this day Zuo Cii guild master of Lamia Scale would make an appearance to find out just who they were and what they were in his guild for. The guild hall being made entirely out of marble made it Zuo's personal magic play ground, after all he could manipulate stone(especially marble) as easy as he could breath. So naturally he could only make the grandest of appearances. His starting location was irrelevant as he could go from anywhere in the guild hall to anywhere else in the guild hall almost instantly, in fact he actually forgot where he was coming from because it mattered so little. Zuo had just detected the presence of two new people in his guild and dropped into the ground as if it was a pool of water. He then moved through the ground until he could feel the two walking close above him, the old man studied the direction they were moving in from the sound of their foot steps and moved to a spot only a few meters in front of them. With his positioning down Zuo rose up from the ground sitting in a throne of marble that he had made on the spot.

Zuo lounged in the lavish throne as if popping out of the ground in the middle of a building was the most normal thing in the world. He lazily inspected the two before him. "Oh hello there. Who are you? What business do you have within Lamia Scale? How may I help you? What is your favorite color?" The old geezer squinted at them, his pale green Lamia Scale tattoo apparent over his right eye. They were an interesting pair and he was rather curious as to the reasons behind them coming to Lamia Scale. He tapped his forehead as he waited for a response as while he had no where to be he was very much in a hurry to get there.

Zhu sighed as he walked down from his room inside of the Lamia scale guild hall. He had been exhausted and after the drama that had occurred in the guild not too long ago he was seriously wanting a break from everything. Still he was more focused on getting things done for the guild after all he owed it to Zuo and Kari.

As he walked down into the main hall of the guild he noticed the lavish throne that could only ever belong to their fearless, and insane leader Zuo. Zhu walked down and noticed that his guildmaster wasn't alone. In front of him were two wizards who were rather odd in appearance, but they looked slightly similar. He wasn't sure what the relationship between the two wizards was, but he knew that he wasn't about to get caught up in any trap or test Zuo had planned for them. Zhu heard his volley of questions, but he wasn't about to question his superior. So instead he walked up behind Zuo's throne appearing on the left hand side of it "Try not to scare everyone away with your very interesting magic Zuo-sama." He looked to the new comers and gave them a nod "Welcome to the Lamia Scale Guild Hall." As the two new comers looked on him they could see his blue lamia scale tattoo on his well muscled stomach, and the blade he had on his hip.

Maria marveled at the magnificent, marbled building as she and Kaseki walked slowly through the guild's many halls. I wish I could live in a place like this, Maria thought happily to herself. What fun she would have and the adventures she could seek.

A strange man suddenly rose from the ground sitting upon a pure marble throne. Maria's surprised face quickly turned into that of awe and bewilderment. "Woah..." Maria whispered more to herself that to anyone in particular, "That is so cool..."

"Oh hello there. Who are you? What business do you have within Lamia Scale? How may I help you? What is your favorite color?"

Such an odd man, Maria thought amusedly to herself. It reminded her a bit of her father. She grinned widely as she began to introduce herself and her father. "I am Maria and this is my father, Kaseki. We...stumbled across this place and were very curious about it. As to our business here, my father is more qualified than I to answer that." Favorite color? "I'm very fond of purple, blue, and green..." Maria said softly before she glanced at her father. It was her father's turn to fill in the gaps.

A man appeared the odd man's side, greeting them kindly. "Hello." She said as she acknowledged him. The two.men seemed quite nice and she was grateful. Hopefully, she wouldn't be wrong about her thinking of them.

Kaseki smiled again from under his shade "I am Kaseki, a two-million year old spirit. This is Maria, my kin. Her soul is also that of a spirit. You see, I am a plant creature... My kind is regarded as DemonWolftrap. Now, you as my favorite color? Easy, True purple. Now you may ask our business. I have heard stories of great guilds, my daughter and I would like to join yours." Kaseki looked at the two gentlemen. "Now, I know what this process entales.. however, because I am mainly wooden and metal, how will I receive such a tattoo?" He looked over to his daughter. "And where will you place yours, my dear?"

"Tattoo?" She really hadn't thought about it. Hm... "I'd prefer it on my wrist and its color to be black so it can go with any outfit, no?" Maria could be such a girl at times. She thought hard abouther father's dilemma. "How about we carve it?" She suggested, "Then paint over it to any color you'd like?"

Kaseki thought about the carving away at his body. It was was wooden, reinforced with IronBark, so it made sense. However, he wondered how much it would pain him. He pointed at Zhu Feng's Tattoo. "Did... did that hurt?" Kaseki thought about it.

"I have no skin, there is no placement of something under me, such as ink. Can't I just be painted or something?" he asked.
