Decisions had been made and it was now time for Lyserg to go about a dealing with a very influential man. Interestingly enough, he had been sought out for this assignment. Unusual, as he had hadn't expected Slayer to deem him trustworthy enough after just one encounter. It did play into his hand though. It would likely be a concise meeting that would be beneficial to everyone it needed to be beneficial to. With a kingdom's worth of money at the back of his hand, Lyserg decided to go about this meeting alone. He wouldn't presume that the help of any other members was worth something. Their loyalty was strong and malleable, but it had blinded them to see that which is important.
Lyserg would project an outcome of several million jewels towards his business partners if the operation were to go over quickly. About to step into the guild directly and without restraint, he wanted to make this connection as deep and accurate as possible. He had anticipated many things about the people he was supposed to encounter, and it was unlikely that they would deny this offer with the stakes that were set out. It would be a quick transaction that would support Tartarus' further actions in the best manner. Ultimately, Lyserg was likely the best man for this as he had no profile in Fiore or Earthland at this point in history. His name may stand within history textbooks of this world, but with the prospect of today, he didn't assume that those were read all too much.
Rolling up on the guild's grounded arae, he would ask to be led skywards to discuss matters with the guildmaster. Then he would leave as quickly as he came. No feelings, just cold money.
Having no presence at all and laying low, he didn't want to alert anyone of the surrounding people or even any spies that the future opponents may have set out.
Everything needed to go off smoothly. He would quickly discuss the future with his business partner, deliver the area in which the money was held and then step out, back towards Tartarus. Predictions were positive, and he was even being realistic. Nox Animus, the group of mercenaries couldn't refuse the offer he was about to make. Opening the door to the building, a silent roam went throughout the room he set foot in.
There was murmuring as a flash of light flooded the hall. Letting his gaze sweep around, he envisioned crooked creatures. No obligations, no restraint. They would be perfect.
"Who is your leader?" He quickly spoke to the members, expecting to be snapped back at. But this was all going according to plan.
