Phoenix Slayer Magic

So... I was suggesting a new magic. Phoenix Slayer Magic.
For Mavis' sake, There are Dragon,God,Titan,Demon slayers magic. So I was wondering if you could add this magic which is for my own opinion.

-Similar to the other slayer's story, been raised by phoenix,left behind, go find it for all your life-

There are only god demon and dragon slayers. Titan slayer is not a magic. Titan is a magic that allows the user to change the size of their body that is all.

Phoenix slayer has been suggested before, but has been rejected. We have enough 'slayers'. We have our slayers who use corrupted slaying magic: the god slayer, we have our slayers who use blessed slaying magic: the demon slayer, and we have our slayers who use neutral slaying magic: the dragon slayers.

Phoenix slayer would not fit into this in any way taht I can see. Also how do you slay something that can essentially be reborn infinitely.

Why would you want to kill me?

More seriously this site has a bit of it's own lore around phoenixs. There is one, "The Phoenix" that serves as the site's native super boss. Handing out magics that are specifically made to battle Phoenixs would clash with "The Phoenix" in two major ways. First it would give a big Achilles heel to the strongest boss enemy on the site and would require more phoenix's to be made cheapening the OP unbeatable fire bird that we know and love to this day.

Also I think it would cheapen the word to make more slayers.

However, a phoenix inspired magic is not necessarily a bad idea. Just don't go slayer with it.

Perhaps go for something like Marco the Phoenix in One piece who is like a fire version of juvia in my mind.

He can basically turn into fire (rather than coat himself in it like a slayer) and use those abilities for healing and offense. The whole turn into fire thing might not work (it may do. it just will need balancing) but being able to generate 'phoenix fire' that can heal or kill could be an interesting way to go.

I'd see it like Rin Okumura from Ao No exorcist where he can generate flames that 'destroy' enemies but only gently warm his friends. in your case it would harm enemies, but heal allies or something

Just for the record it is possible to kill a phoenix. When a phoenix reaches the end of its life span it throws itself into the flames and is reborn from the ashes. So if you disrupt that cycle anywhere the phoenix will die.
