Decisions had been made and it was now time for Lyserg to go about a dealing with a very influential man. Interestingly enough, he had been sought out for this assignment. Unusual, as he had hadn't expected Slayer to deem him trustworthy enough after just one encounter. It did play into his hand though. It would likely be a concise meeting that would be beneficial to everyone it needed to be beneficial to. With a kingdom's worth of money at the back of his hand, Lyserg decided to go about this meeting alone. He wouldn't presume that the help of any other members was worth something. Their loyalty was strong and malleable, but it had blinded them to see that which is important.

Lyserg would project an outcome of several million jewels towards his business partners if the operation were to go over quickly. About to step into the guild directly and without restraint, he wanted to make this connection as deep and accurate as possible. He had anticipated many things about the people he was supposed to encounter, and it was unlikely that they would deny this offer with the stakes that were set out. It would be a quick transaction that would support Tartarus' further actions in the best manner. Ultimately, Lyserg was likely the best man for this as he had no profile in Fiore or Earthland at this point in history. His name may stand within history textbooks of this world, but with the prospect of today, he didn't assume that those were read all too much.

Rolling up on the guild's grounded arae, he would ask to be led skywards to discuss matters with the guildmaster. Then he would leave as quickly as he came. No feelings, just cold money.

Having no presence at all and laying low, he didn't want to alert anyone of the surrounding people or even any spies that the future opponents may have set out.

Everything needed to go off smoothly. He would quickly discuss the future with his business partner, deliver the area in which the money was held and then step out, back towards Tartarus. Predictions were positive, and he was even being realistic. Nox Animus, the group of mercenaries couldn't refuse the offer he was about to make. Opening the door to the building, a silent roam went throughout the room he set foot in.

There was murmuring as a flash of light flooded the hall. Letting his gaze sweep around, he envisioned crooked creatures. No obligations, no restraint. They would be perfect.

"Who is your leader?" He quickly spoke to the members, expecting to be snapped back at. But this was all going according to plan.

A shadowed building, filled with members of a guild, who would do anything for the right price. Quite the gloomy mood excited in the room, one that would scare most people away from it. Though, it gave off the wrong image, the guild wasn't gloomy at all, it was just filled with people, who lacked morals. They would kill, if it meant profit or considering a few special cases in the guild, they would do the killing just for the fun of it. Like the man, sitting on a chair, in one of the corners of the room, inside of the shadows.

The man, known by some as one of the coming storms, to a few people as the metallic god slayer, but to the people in the guild, he was a friend. But this man, like the others, would do the bidding of others, if the price offered was to his liking. The man was known as Indar Blackshield, a member of Nox Animus and well, some could say he was a savage in battle, killing all of his opponents.

He had been minding his own business, as the door opened, shining light into the room. Someone entered, someone Indar hadn't seen before. The man called out, asking about their leader. Hearing this, a smirk appeared onto Indar's face, this kind of thing usually meant a job. He got up, his black jacket and blonde hair moving, as he did so. He walked in front of the man, who had just entered. A smirk on Indar face, he asked: '' And why would you need to know that? ''

Someone had spoken up. Tall, slender, seemingly thin enough to break by just touching him, a handsome face and gruesome clothing. Like most of the people Lyserg had seen in Fiore. They looked so much alike that he began digging up an irrational disgust for them.

It seemed as if the boy before him however, was the only one whom he wouldn't waste time with. Having gazed through the faces of all the people present, none of them emitted a particularly strong aura or possessed a satient presence. None. They all seemed like spineless rugrats to him that were still in the shoes their mothers had been putting them on just a few days ago.

A quiescent face glanced back at the blonde kid however. It was a face that didn't rely on magical pressure or any significant physical feature. It was backed up by a cold, hard determination that would tell anyone who could discern left from right he wasn't here to mess around.

Disliking the tone, but disregarding it completely, as he could feel that picking a fight at this moment in time was neither beneficiary or necessary, nor did it have any positive prospect. "I am here to offer him a deal with the chance towards fifty million, child. I do believe that it would be in the best interest of all if you preserve the pace I presented."

While before, all of the people sitting around the hall had been staring at him reluctantly, ignorantly and belittling, Lyserg could almost hear the silent rip their eyelids made as they split apart. Time and time again Lyserg was baffled how simple it was to crowd control. The individual on the other hand, much more dangerous.

Before the blonde man had a chance to speak, Lyserg held the floor. "Before you ask me about details or if I'm serious, let logic do the work for you. And if that doesn't work, try to let your premature intuition do the thinking for you." Lyserg wanted to make his standpoint as clear as possible.

Starting to slander around, Lyserg looked left and right at the varying characters within the guild. Primarily, they were faceless to him. Copies from one another. Ausgestanzt, as he would call it in his native tongue. Laughable. But the masses had always been like that. In 2400 years, they hadn't begun changing even in the slightest.

Approaching the blonde man without any sign of confrontation, but an ocean's worth of grumption, he was seeking to go about this as quickly as possible. "So, child? Will you tell me where he is?"

Post by Nero_ 17th May 2014, 3:39 pm

Victoria had been sitting in the room, a dark hoodie over her face, a black cloak over her body. She watched the whole scene in front of her unfold, not moving a muscle. Catsu was hiding under a cloak. Why was Victoria there in the first place?

She was there because she could sense that there was something inmortant on there. Or well, it was everywhere, but specifically here. She had noticed quite a stirr in the activity of the Tartarus guildmembers, and those were known as not some od the quietest and calmest people around. They were quite troublemakers. And if a Tartarus member showed around, Victoria was willing to see what was going to happen.

The strange thing was that, apart from her, Indar Blackshield was there too. He wasn't sitting in a dark corner, but he was somewhat in the center of the place. Victoria sighed and remained in her place, causing quite a few people around her to glance in her direction, wondering when she was going to even move a muscle.

Suddenly, a man spoke up, asking who is the leader. Victoria rose her eyes at the instant, and noticed a man looking around the bar. He didn't seem a week guy, but hey, appearance could lie. Victoria rose her eyebrow and shifted in her seat, causing Natsu to let out a muffled surprise exclamation, as he wasn't expecting Victoria to move so bruskily now, after staying stoic as a statue for at least an hour. Victoria noticed, as well, that Indar asked the man why he needed to know that at the instant. A silent growl escaped her lips. She pushed a lock of red hair behind her ear and listened to the other man talk to Indar. He was still asking where the leader was.

Damn, Victoria couldn't stay silent any more. She got up and Catsu fell from her lap, then walked towards Indar and slightly slapped the back of his head. '' Tsk.'' This was all she said. Indar was a close friend of hers, but she normally did this to him when she was pissed, angry, or simply in a neutral mood. She turned towards the other individual, her stormy gray eyes puercing through his figure. '' I am truly sorry, but I believe we have no intention of telling you who our leader is until you present yourself to us. Quite tempting it is, a deal so well paid, but I wouldn't trust anyone who offered such a deal to our master without even saying who he is. A bit suspicious, it is.'' She said. Her voice was cold, careless, authoritary. The hoodie fell off of her head ad revealed her face, something she didn't plan on doing so early just for the sake to remain anonymous if this guy was actually a Rune Knight that came here to bust the guild. She was expecting it.

Post by Ethan Ran 17th May 2014, 4:14 pm

The people gathered in the building tonight would probably come across as a flock of honorless, vicious beasts who'd do anything for the right prize, they're probably right. Though some members hadn't been able to adjust to that way of thinking just yet there was still certain members who had adapted to their way of living. Ethan Ran Delt was but one among them, he didn't care for much except his own personal interests and what might coincide with those. He didn't care too much about authorities but had still agreed on joining the guild due to personal reasons.

It was a pretty much ordinary night all in all. Everyone was doing their own thing as their guild wasn't as social which would be expected from a guild centered around making money, they didn't need to socialise to function as a guild. Ethan was minding his own business as he polished his glasses which had gotten pretty dirt during the evening events. He noticed someone entering and quickly out his glasses on to get a better look on the stranger. It had to be a stranger as pretty much everyone was here already. The man seemed content as he was appearently sizing them up. He suddenly spoke up as he asked for their leader. Ethan deemed this kind of behaviour suspicious right of the bat. He didn't seriosly think he could just waltz in and meet the boss did he? Ethan was about to rise up and confron the man himself but Indar beat him to it as he walked up to the stranger. '' And why would you need to know that? '' The man seemed annoyed by Indar's tone and Ethan couldn't really blame him, he could be very disrespectful at times but that's what made him interesting in a way.

The man had been quite for a while but Ethan could guess what he was thinking from the very look in his eyes. There was a very noticeable hint of indifference as he let his eyes wander across the hall. That alone annoyed Ethan as he didn't like to be taken lightly. The man thought himself to be completely in control as he took to word once more. "I am here to offer your leader a deal with the chance towards fifty million, child. I do believe that it would be in the best interest of all to preserve the pace I presented." Ethan's eyes widened at the proposition and was suddenly very interested. Questions that immiediatly rose to mind wassuch as who the man was and what he could possibly want him to do with such an amount of Jewels. Then as if reading his mind: "Before you ask me about details or if I'm serious, let logic do the work for you. And if that doesn't work, try to let your premature intuition do the thinking for you." The man's condescending didn't let off in the slightest as he spoke to them. The stranger's only redeemable quality as of now seemed to be his ego. Ethan didn't really mind as it was all business in the end but some respect what so ever wouldn't hurt.

He eventually rised from his seat and walked down the hall towards the 2. "So, child? Will you tell me where he is?" Ethan patted Indar on the shoulder to signalise he'd handle it. Not that he didn't trust Indar but there was some things Ethan wanted clarified by their mysterious guest. "You think you can just walk in here and demand meeting the master? How about you tell us just who you are and we might actually consider letting you through" Ethan usually wouldn't mind letting him go as he trusted the master wouldn't have any problems figuring things out but Ethan had gained a personal interest in this man and found the offer very suspicious as it was. "We wouldn't want to have our precious time spent on just any nonsense now do we? No offense right? It's all business" Victoria had also stepped forward and voiced pretty much the same opinions as himself. Ethan was set on getting some answers before he'd just let him waltz in without a second thought.

    OOC:

How bothersome. It was obvious that these people were no professionals. They couldn't grasp the simpleness of easy transactions and regulations. Lyserg wasn't surprised as this grouping of mages had been relatively new and... subsequently lacked some experience. Truly bothersome to Lyserg. Especially because it was their manpower that made them attractive and the only possible candidate for the task he needed to hand out.

Visibly hostile, two members had come up just after Lyserg uttered the words 50 million. Attempting to inquire about who he was, it was obvious that these people didn't acknowledge the general concept of a messenger. Now it was troubling to Lyserg that he had come alone. He had not expected businessmen knowing the yes and no's of these kind of dealings by heart, but surely more than a bunch of hostile ruffians who were putting their pride before what they made themselves out to be.

Blatantly disregarding the notions of the two children that had walked up to him, Lyserg glanced around. The adverse atmosphere was now centering around him. Sighing inwardly, but accepting that he needed to take care not to step on a landmine right now, Lyserg would comply and attempt to go about this diplomatically.

"Business... yes. None of you realize that I am just a messenger?" He said anticipatory. Lyserg wanted to make them realize how childish the act was of three people building up against someone whom they currently clearly outclassed. "I am sure you are versed in the art of magic and can tell apart when your strength trumps someone elses, eh? I am not here to discuss business with you, but Alexander Zenneth. Information is explicitly supposed to be relayed to him."

Taking a few steps back from the trio, he skimmed them. All three of them, immature. Having clearly not encompassed the age of puberty, they all presented themselves like leaders. Truly, their strength was nothing Lyserg could himself against, but that wouldn't be for long anyway. If he would be who he was supposed to be and would be in the near future, this would have gone differently.

"As to who I am, that is a completely unimportant matter. I am merely a messenger of someone who's name is not meant for anyone's ears that aren't your leaders. Are you suspecting me as a spy? If I were a spy, what would be my reason to speak to your leader be? Please think through this logically." Riveling his forehead, Lyserg hoped that he could convince them of the act to realize that their way going about this was quite uncomfortable. Especially because Lyserg had informed himself and knew that the guild often received requests in this very manner. "I have researched you. This assembly of mages. You are currently public. The Magic Council wouldn't act against you... couldn't act against you without valid reasons. I am furthermore not here to gather information, but present information."

Talking was a strain. With these kids, it was exasperating. Even though he had only said so few words, Lyserg understood that he had overestimated the trio before him. Either they would accept that business wasn't run based upon exchanging knowledge under henchmen. And it was indeed true that Lyserg was just a henchman. His role in this was unimportant. Although he was told that he could use a few allegories to proceed faster, he saw no need as it would work just as fine without them.

"If any of you wish to scrutinize me after I have held discussions, I will stand target for questions. But this... is not the business I came here to make." If things would stay uneventful, Lyserg would need to go on slightly more crude.

    Post by Viola-chan 17th May 2014, 7:30 pm

Eating, that was what she was doing, she had been to focused in eating her meal to notice what was going on just behind her. The cheesy noodles filled her mouth like heaven, a few comedical tears falling from her eyes at the taste along with a happy and sparkly aura that surrounded her as though she were an angel. This was just the start of a good day, that was all she would think when ever eating. But, surprisingly, a strange aura had entered the guild hall, though the aura around the place was regularly calm, and everybody seemed happy, now it had changed with one snap of a finger.

Familiar voices rang through her ears, along with another voice who did not sound so familiar to her at all. Most of all, that was when Viola would then notice how bitter the voices sounded, in-fact as the raven-haired girl turned around in her chair to see what was going on, a frown appeared on her face, some-thing, that never usually happened. She rose from her seat, her small heeled boots clicking against the floor as some of the members looked at her with fear in their eyes.

Viola poked her head in-between Victoria and Indar before rudely pushing in-between them her face scrunched up into a un-pleasant expression. "Come'on that's no way to treat a guest." she said eyeing the two of them, along with Ethan before stepping forward to examine the man.  "I think I just saw Alexander a moment ago, but first.." she paused her frown suddenly vanished as she stood up-right, a blissful smile making it's way onto her face. "It would be nice to know your name first, I'm Viola, and you might be..?" she eyed him for an answer, a teasing expression on her face as she awaited an answer.

Though the others didn't seem to trust this man, it was clear to Viola that he was indeed just a messenger. Besides, if this man did try anything funny, Alex would be the first one to stop him, she knew that herself.

Post by Krow 18th May 2014, 2:54 am

Aaron watched the scene unfold, he sat with a chair turned backwards, his arms slung lazily over the backing of the chair as he slumped upon it. He had a slightly confused look upon his mug. Aaron's nose seemed to twitch every few minutes. He could tell from scent alone that this individual wasn't human, he had a unique scent. Aaron grumbled some as he stood up, grasping the chairs backing in his right hand he flung it forth at the intruder.

Aaron now approaching the small crowd with clear annoyance playing upon his features. He was quick to shove his way past Indar, Victoria, Ethan, and Viola. Aaron was horribly under-dressed, wearing only a pair of black pants, no clothing covering the upper portion of his boy. He glared up at the intruder, his nose twitching a few times as he now caught a better hint of the man's scent. “Hey, what the hell are you? I can tell ya aren't a friggin' human!” He exclaimed rather coldly, the red and black haze he had trademarked now flowing off of his body.

Aaron now peering over his right shoulder at the others, “Don't bother getting the Master. If he can't beat me in a fist fight. . .” Aaron grinned some he continued onward with his self-serving declaration, “. . . letting him see the Master ain't gonna work. That work for you guys?” Aaron said as he turned his attention back towards the intruder. “How 'bout it? Sound like a deal to you?” Aaron had zero interest in why this individual wanted to meet their Leader. He however, had no intention of letting this being have a face-to-face, let alone be in the same room as their Master without fighting him first.

At truth, Aaron was just restless, he just wanted to beat the crap out of someone or something, preferably someone. Aaron had already grown tired of fighting human's, and this person couldn't be human. This kind of scent was too overwhelming for him to be a human. The young Monster, despite his confident exterior, was internally terrified. The pressure he felt coming off this being, while not too much different from his own presence, was something that worried him. Aaron had only ever encountered a single entity aside from the male before him, whom possessed such a frightening pressure.

Rose sat in the back listening to the situation that was going on with an unknown person and the rest of the guild. She was literally wearing nothing that day. When the situation had gotten a bit out of hand she stood up and walked over to the group and pushed her way to the front "Yo what the f*** you doin' here?!" she said in the most deppest voice she could make "You's betta get outa here befo' we hurt ya!" she continued before she couldn't take it anymore and started laughing.

She apologized while she was still laughing before collecting herself and starting again "So why do you wanna see our master?" She said with a now serious expression "If you want to hurt him I wont let you.... he is my Love bug..." she said with a pout. She had to play this off until the guy would either find out that she was faking or tell her why.

An hour earlier- Daemon stood silently in the shadows looking at a member of the tartarus guild arriving on a small ship on the port side of the main ship. Daemon stared at the man pulling out a sketch pad with the man's piture and face on it. While there was no record of the man in the MC records in the underworld he had made quite a name for himself yet that information was useless at the time being as Daemon activated his shadows of anarchy to fade back into the shadow to inform his boos of his "guests arrival."

Daemon shifted slightly in his chair behind most of the guild and the unknown tartarus member with a lit smoke in his mouth. Daemon had already kept tabs on him from the moment he took his first step onto the ship. Daemon glared at the man's request to meet Zennieth and silently stood up and moved around his friends and guildmates  using the shadows of the tavern.

Daemon's lineage shadows of anarchy was Ideal for stealth tactics making him a prime choice for being on of Nox Aminus's black ops . He used it to move from shadow to shadow  unseen until he was behind the man from Tartarus .

Once Daemon was behind the man he grabbed the man into a headlock using his automail arm. If your here to talk to our boss you first have to go through us ." Daemon grined darkly as he increased the pressure on the mans skull. Daemon could easily crush this man skull with his animal like strength but decided to show the guy just how close the guild stood amongst the unknown  and threw him to the others.  My name is Daemon spade Nox aminus's wolf in sheeps clothing who the fuck are you ?

Vash had just gotten out of bed from a massive hangover he had yesterday. He slipped on his clothes, as he was mysteriously naked, and woke up Vulcanus. "Wake up you dumb Vulcan! Let's get to work!" vash shouted. After two minutes, Vulcanus had gotten up, but he seemed as drunk as Vash was, and that was odd, as most vulcans don't drink. They got out of the room, and when the duo headed to the guild hall, it was empty. Vash went out into the city to get answers, and that is when he heard the guild had some 2nd base in talonia. Why the hell was I not told of this? Assholes! thought Vash. Several moments later, Vash and Vulcanus arrived at talonia, and went to the location the meeting was being held at.

Luckily, Vash got there to hear the beggining of a strange man's deal, and his face lit up in a huge grin when he heard the man was presenting them with millions. Fifty million to be exact. He watched everyone get angry and what not. Why are these dumbasses getting furious? Do they not understand what money is? Vash thought. "Woah woah woah! Hold it people! What the hell are you doing to our fine, fine guess this evening? Sit down, have a drink and whatnot. Better yet, tell us more of this deal and the money you are giving me... I mean the guild?" said Vash to the man. He was prepared to kill anyone in the room if the man told him to do it. Vash would do anything for money after all.

Alexander just silently watched from the balcony on top with interested look in his eyes. It was not every day that somebody came walking up the front door of the bar he used as an advanced Base of Operations. The guild was awfully protective of him and this made him chuckle a bit, this was very amusing to watch despite the annoyance to a customer. This was like watching the mob mentality against a poor guy, but innocent person he wasn’t that was for damn sure. If this was a run of the mill job he wouldn’t be hiding his identity. This job was going to be illegal that was for damn sure, but this was also a secret test for his guild mates… And their behavior seemed to be one like a street gang, numbers over the ‘weak’ guy. However to give the guy credit he had to have balls to be able to hold his ground like that. So drinking a glass of whiskey he just calmly watched the pure beautiful chaos unfold.

To give credit to some of the people here, he had to admire their loyalty. He never once asked for it and thus this behavior stoked the fires in his soul. Now there was just the issue of stopping this clusterf***. Viola and Vash however were handling the situation like they should have, they will receive commendations later. Alexander jumped over the balcony and landed behind the man quietly. He simply said, “Apologies for my guilds overzealous need to protect me. I am Alexander Zenneth and am interested in your transaction in a bit. For now let me have a few words with my guild.” He turned around to look at everyone straight in the eye and calmly said, “If he was a spy he’d be asking to join guild, not ask for a job. Second next time a customer like this pops in secure a private room, give the man a drink and call me.”

Alexander then motioned him to a private table and had him sit down. “Okay this is how it works. Tell me job and I set the price depending on what you ask for. You will pay us AFTER the job is done, unless we need special equipment on field. Then we will ask for their market price. However if we fail, there is no reason to pay cause we did not keep our end of the contract. I am guessing you know what happens if you fail to keep your end of the bargain so I will spare details.”

    OOC:

As the scene before him unfolded, his anger, annoyance and doubt grew by the second. Every word these people uttered was light-hearted, there was not amount of seriousness in their words. And he had come here to do business, not attend a playground for pubescent teenagers that had spent too much time honing magical power to browbeat others. It was culmination of sentences, meaningless phrases and acoustical level that had Lyserg just wanting to leave. He was wasting his time, he was sure of that. "Why doesn't everybody calm down and even try to let a messenger speak..." He whispered with a quiet moaning in his tone. Just as someone approached him from behind though, Lyserg turned around and skimmed the man. He offered him a seat, disregarding the rest of bigots that were surrounding him.

Lyserg was starting to approach the man, keeping the same stern expression. "If you wish to wait, you may address me after I-" In that moment, Lyserg noticed the presence and cut himself off. Turning around, a white haired, red-jacketed man landed right before him. Right before described even too far of a distance. There was nearly no distance between them, and their faces were nearly touching. Turning around, he then held an announcement towards his bigoted guildmembers as they had absolutely no conception of business. He was unexpectedly good-natured towards them. Lyserg could have spatted dozens of things at their faces that described their plaguing attitude in high detail. But now was not the time. Taking a seat to where he directed him, Lyserg became calmer and noticed the feeling of disgust shrinking.

Quietly, submittingly listening, Lyserg instantly understood the way this man did business. The only problem was, he was too fair. It was apparent that Mister Zenneth had no idea about the contractors he was about to make a deal with. Lyserg's loyalty swayed however. He wouldn't keep this man in the dark as he wanted the operation to be a surefire success."Mhh." He silently voiced. "Under normal circumstances that would sound like a fair deal to me. However, you do not have an idea who you are dealing with here." Grabbing into his cloak with his right hand, openly lifting his left hand to signalize that he wasn't about to pull a fast one on Zenneth, he slid out an envelope on the table.

It was a completely neutral and sterile envelope. White, nothing written on it, not even glued close through a slight amount of saliva on the upper end. "Be discrete about the envelope. Take a look in there, and you should understand." In the envelope, there was simply Tartarus written on a blank piece of paper in black capitalized letters. The envelope hadn't been prepared by the guild, but by Lyserg himself. He didn't want to alarm anyone and keep closed tabs for this. "I would be uncomfortable showing you where I'm coming from by undressing." He stated, hinting at the fact that his guild symbol was hidden beneath cloth.

"Please burn all papers as a sign for me that you understand. And I ask you to not speak the name out. I am almost certain that there are people surrounding us that are following this conversation prick-eared." He added calmly, sterile. Then leaning in on the table, Lyserg placed his palms flat on the wood and gazed at Zenneth emptily, revealing no thoughts. It was likely that the people around here were listening, which is why Lyserg needed to choose his words carefully. "I understand that you wish to go about this deal like you always do, but I ensure you personally that it is not the best idea."

Likely, Zenneth was now suspicious of Lyserg's nature. "I do not wish to be on bad terms with you after this operation ends. Please accept my conditions." Lyserg truly did not want to let this end in chaos as that would only bring him trouble. And he was not a man to go back on his word. "I am befitting you half of the payment beforehand, and the other half once the job is done. I do not wish for the people on my end of the line to change their minds about the... regulatory process of the deal, if you understand?"

Lyserg was attempting to hint at the fact that Tartarus was a guild of criminals. They wouldn't pay their amount of the deal if there was a way to avoid it. As such, Lyserg wished to create an atmosphere of personal trust between him and Zenneth. He didn't like the fact that Tartarus was this way. And he was confident that a businessman like Alexander Zenneth would be able to discern truth from lie. "I will be the one personally delivering you the payment at the end, but I ask you to accept my terms to ensure the success of this operation."

If Zenneth would somehow begin to have doubts about the trustworthiness of Tartarus, finding out that Lyserg came from exactly there or demanding to know it, he would likely call off the operation from his side and the whole plan would be lead balloon. "What do you say?" With the superficial side out of the way, Lyserg would be able to go deeper into the systematic of this scheme.

Post by Zeon 21st May 2014, 11:51 pm

Alexander actually knew what he was getting into, because a person that walks in a guild hideout like this and openly seek Alexander in this fashion meant only one thing… dark guild involvement. What kind however was to be determined soon, but obviously would operate in secret due to the superior amount of Legal Guilds. Alexander grabbed a lighter and lit up a lacrima cigarette. It may seemed like a redundant action to have a lighter when he was a Flame Demon Slayer, but the problem of not being able to consume your own flames would go into effect. A small annoyance to Alexander, but easily fixed. He inhaled the smoke as he listened to the client.

Looking at the paper, he looked at the single paper and closed it. Alexander simply said, “Not surprised, but you are still a customer regardless. However I agree to you paying upfront now, but before agreeing to anything I want to hear the job first.” He then lit the letter and envelope on fire with the lighter and placed it on the metal plate in front of him to let it burn out. Soon there was only ash in its wake, but Alexander’s mind was judging pros and cons to accepting a job from Tartarus. The Flame Demon Slayer Guildmaster wanted to hear the job before accepting anything. Alexander stood up from his seat and started walking, gesturing the man to follow. There was too many eyes and ears for a job like this. They needed to go to the sound proof room that he had installed upstairs. That and there were things in there that would be needed for a contract of this magnitude. Alexander opened the door and let him in before closing door behind him.

“It is safer to talk up here. This is beyond the scope of a simple job if Tartarus is asking for our help. And less commentary from the rest of my guild. I expected better from them, which may need to be remedied soon… So what is the job you are asking for? Your words will determine whether I take it or not.”

Alexander was staring at Lyserg with soul piercing eyes. Like if he was judging every single word that was being said. His eyes were those of one that have scene hell and escaped. However it was mixed parts jaded and other part rekindled. Alexander was a man of contradictions.

Seal The Deal [Lyserg; Nox Animus Members; Zenneth Required] Empty Re: Seal The Deal [Lyserg; Nox Animus Members; Zenneth Required]

Lyserg quietly followed the man into a private room. Satisfactory, as he thought. It was small, had no tables or chairs. "So... the job... yes." He spoke after assessing what the man was about. Not completely sure if he should go through with handing this offer to Zenneth, but rehashing what the rest of his options were, he quickly discarded the thought and decided to progress with this plan. There was no sign of staggering in his words or his face. It was a straight, determined face. Sterile.

Zenneth's on the other hand revealed things to Lyserg. The man's gaze told stories. Stories Lyserg didn't quite appreciate. There were chapters of entitlement, self-righteousness and unreliability. With an inner 'hmph', Lyserg would press himself to speak however. "The short answer would be... to terrorize the city called Rose Garden." Lyserg paused for a bit, waiting for that to sink in and adjust itself.

Letting his tongue glide over his lips to moisten them for a split second, he took a non-audible breath and left a small slit in his mouth before beginning to speak again, with the same monotonous voice and the same, ever-persistent look on his face. "The long answer would be... to place a device in the middle of Rose Garden one day before the annual meeting of the guildmaster's, as well as the removal of your own men from the city until after the device has been set off."

Lyserg revealed one arm and started fidgeting around under the cloak in the impression that Zenneth would be confident he wouldn't be able to pull a fast one, and wasn't here to do so either. "Furthermore..." He added. "I wish for the construction of as many of a certain type of explosive charges as possible." Bringing out the previously concealed hand, it held a book between its fingers and with a motion, Lyserg waved it towards Zenneth slowly walking over to hand it to him.

"In that script, there are blueprints for a very specific... up until now anonymously handled tool of war. Build as many of those as possible, attach them to floating lacrima and bring them up in the air once the guildmaster's meeting officially starts." Lyserg let another pause. Confident that Zenneth would accept and listen before cutting him off as he was obviously not done yet, Lyserg then faced the man with his full chest.

"Timing..." He said as he put up one hand at about waist height with an outstretched finger. "is the most vital point during this assignment. If you accept, I will give you the exact the precise times and dates that I have calculated." Sinking his hand again under his cloak, Lyserg backed up just a small amount. "The device you are to plant central in Rose Garden... is a different one than in those blueprints however. We will be the one's supplying it personally. And it is best that no one is even in the furthest vicinity of it during its scheduled time of detonation."

With a final motion of his head, the first visible change in his phsyiognomy ever since the time he entered the sound-proof room was made. He raised his eyebrows and the static expression cleared up a bit. Letting his hand appear out of the cloak, they opened up slightly and gave a minorly welcoming image. "So... do you accept this basis?" He asked, positive that Zenneth would have questions, or at least comments to make.
