Job Requirements: Find the mysterious white flower deep within the Spooky Forest! Minimum of 10 posts. Must defeat at least one batch of monsters. 150 words per post.

Job Location: Spooky Forest

Job Description: The medicinal shop in Magnolia can't seem too pay their workers enough too journey into the Spooky Forest too gather a specific type of flower needed as an ingredient in a powerful medicine. Find it for them! But watch out...something's lurking, stalking, snarling.

Enemies:
Weak: Goblin x3 (Who knows what they're doing, and why they've decided too follow you. But they are not friendly...at all. A few hits should clobber them out for the count though.)

Normal: Wild Pack Wolves x4 (Four wolves have been stalking you...and they've decided you're lunch! Defeat them with at least 2 hits on each one of them! They attack with claws and fangs, each will attack you once each round, roll too block!)

Strong: Lone Wolf (This wolf rolls solo, and that alone should prove how tough he is! He attacks you twice each round on his own. Every so often he'll attempt a pounce attack too pin you too the ground. Roll 3 "Block Die" if he does this. If you roll 2 or more Blocks, you don't get pinned. If you get pinned he bites you for "4 Attack Die", though you can still attempt too block. Take him out with 5 hits!)

Boss: Dire Wolf (This wolf is....huge too be honest. He stands about ten feet, quite big for a wolf, indeed. He'll attempt too run circles around you too confuse you, but stay focused! Every so often he'll dive in for an attempted bite or claw swipe against you. Roll 3 "Attack Die" each time he dives in for an attack! Roll 3 "Block Die" too see if you get away. If you don't block you'll be shredded for C-Ranked damage, be careful! His normal bite attack also deals C-Ranked damage and can truly hurt! Put him down with 10 hits! Good luck!)

On this particular day Kurai was a bit happy, but also a bit annoyed. She really didn’t want to do this particular mission as it meant hunting through some dirty forest full of gods only know what, but she was happy to do this job as it meant she could be in a forest full of darkness, and she was hunting a rare, and beautiful flower. This particular job was as much fun, as it was annoying.

Kurai really didn’t care for the dirtiness that usually came with trekking through such places. Still she wasn’t going to let the job go unfulfilled. She needed to complete the job she had been tasked with or it would make her guild look bad. She really didn’t want to make others look bad and if she didn’t do her job then she would look ugly in the eyes of the wizard world. That was something she didn’t want either.

So here she was simply walking through this ‘Spooky Forest’ Kurai scoffed at the name of the forest. She saw nothing about it that was ‘Spooky’ in the slightest. Yes the forest was dark, and yes it did seem a little on the eerie side, but there wasn’t anything ‘Spooky’ in its depth. She sighed as she thought about this, and part of her wish she would be able to find something that could be called ‘Spooky’ and give some life to the name.

Still she had much to do and not a life time to do it in. She was sent here for a rare and beautiful flower, she was told she would recognize it on sight, and that it was called “The Soul’s Blossom.” Truly a flower that had been given such a name would inspire passion in the hearts of even the ugliest and most barbaric of creatures. She was sure of this.

As Kurai walked deeper into the forest she heard the darkness inside of it calling out to her. She knew well that all forms of darkness had their own voices, and it was always her joy to hear their voices. She smiled softly and looked to one particular dark spot among the rest of them “My friend. Can you tell me where I can find the flower known as the soul’s Blossom?” The patch of Darkness seemed to move and shake as it tried to answer her question. Kurai giggled as she watched it react in this way.

When it finished however her smile was no more, and instead she held a soft frown on her face “Oh I see…Thank you for telling me.” She stood up slowly and turned around to face where her back had once been, and peered into the darkness. She saw a figure hiding in the darkness, unaware that the darkness would never hide things from her.

'Monster Dice' :

Kurai smiled as she saw the wolves still hiding in the darkness of the forest foliage. She smiled softly nodding her head “Please Darkness pierce my foe with your true power.” As she finished her prayer and held up her hands two dark orbs appeared over her index fingers and she smirked “Now all I need to do is wait for you morons to make the first move.” She didn’t have to wait long soon four wolves jumped out of the foliage. She smirked as she quickly shot bot of her blasts into one of the wolves. It sank into its flesh and the wolf fell dead.

The other three looked to their comrade and this gave Kurai the opening she needed “Darkness please allow me to borrow your hands.” Two hands made of darkness mirrored her own and she directed them to another wolf. These hands wrapped around the wolf’s throat and began to squeeze down on it choking the life from it. As it was losing its life it gave a yelp that caused the others to go to it. They could see the hands and they all tried to bite at them and tear them off of their comrade.

Choking Darkness Begin

Kurai moved only one of her hands away from the wolf as this was all she needed in order to keep the spell working. The wolves were occupied by trying to save their comrade whose struggles were becoming weaker, and weaker as time went on, and it continued to be denied oxygen. She didn’t want this opportunity to go to waste so she smiled and whispered another prayer “Please Darkness come and show this worthless creature the strength of your claw.” She gestured to one of the bigger wolves and from the ground raised a long sickly purple claw that wrapped around the wolf’s entire body.

As it yelped and struggled the last remaining wolf looked to Kurai and growled loudly. Kurai smiled and the dark claw and arms tightened around the captured wolves bringing a yelp from the clawed one. After a moment the claw sank into the wolf’s throat repeatedly and the wolf fell to the ground dead. At the same time the other wolf lost the last strings of its life were ripped from it. She smirked and directed the hands towards the last remaining wolf wrapped the hands around its throat this time “You were foolish to challenge me.” With her last free hand she redirected the claw back towards the remaining wolf.

The wolf struggled as it tried to breathe, but its life was snapped short as the claw sank into its neck cutting it down like its comrades had been. With her victory assured and no further threats to be seen Kurai dismissed her spells with a sadistic grin on her face “I have won you pathetic dogs. You should never challenge a child of darkness with your pathetic teeth. Filthy mongrels.” She turned and walked away from the scene without another thought in mind. As she continued to walk however she realized she heard a stream going. This was valuable to her.

She followed the stream and soon she stood there in front of a beautiful bush of flowers. These flowers were too amazing for words she simply sat there and stared at them. These were the flowers that she had been sent to collect. She was truly amazed by them and she slowly made her way closer still. As she did however she saw something was coiled around the base of the bushes. As she neared it slowly rose up and revealed itself to her.

As the creature rose up from its resting place it turned its head to look at her. Kurai was truly amazed to see the beautiful creature. She had only heard of such a creature in the temple where he trained as a girl. This was a dragon Snake, and they were the avatars of darkness in the animal world. She smiled as she continued to near both the plant and the creature in general. As she got closer however the reptile hissed and bared its great fangs at her.

Kurai stopped and smiled “Oh serpent. I am not your enemy. In fact I am one of your greatest allies. Here allow me to show you just what I mean.” She knelt down and spoke “Darkness please allow me to borrow your hands.” As she moved her hands towards the great serpent the dark hands she asked for moved with her showing her dark power.

They gently gripped the snake and brought it towards her. The snake wasn’t very surprised by this, but as it drew closer to Kurai it seemed to relax. Finally when it was a few feet from her she smiled and nodded her head lightly “That’s good. You finally see just what I am referring too. I know much about your kind great serpent. The Priestess spoke of your kind as noble and certainly intelligent. So I was hoping that we could enter into some arrangement.”

The snake tilted its head as it looked at her seeming to try and understand what she was talking about. She smiled as she gently let him down and dismissed her hands of darkness “Well then serpent how about we make a pact. As long as you find me worthy of your aid I would like you with me so we might make my fights and missions easier on me. So tell me what do you want to do?”

The serpent tilted its head a few times and after several long minutes it looked at Kurai once more. Slowly it slithered and wrapped itself around her coiling up around her to hold its head next to hers. It gently rubbed its face against her cheek letting its tongue flick against her nose. Kurai giggled softly as she pet the Dragon-serpent’s head “That’s a very nice thing. I am glad we could come to some arrangement my friend. I shall call you Shinjin. Now then Shinjin is there anything else about the soul’s essence I need to worry about?”

Shinjin shook its head lightly as he looked back to the bush he had been wrapped around and the flowers that were there. Kurai smiled and walked over to the bush and began to cut off several of the flowers that were there. She took her time in collecting the plant and putting it inside of the box she was given.

She continued to clip flower after flower adding them to the box that she had been given. She was told that she had to fill it full of the flower, and that was what she intended to do. Still she couldn’t help but wonder if she was really willing to cut away all of these flowers. She sighed to herself as she finished filling the box. She really hated this, and hoped the flowers would grow back. Seeming to sense this Shinjin slithered off of her and traveled deeper into the forest. Kurai sighed as she followed after him “Oh for the love of shades Shinjin where are you going?” After a few moments she saw what he was doing. In front of the mouth of a cave were several bushes of the flower she had been sent to retrieve. She was happy by this and moved to take one flower. She carefully put it in her hair smiling “Come shinjin let’s go home.” She turned and left as her new partner followed her and the mission was complete.

Well done, i loves this, however while i know the word min is 150, try to oush yourself to develop your writing skills ^^ it wil make harder jobs easier.
