Arrival of the New Member

Blaise walked around Clover, his katana hanging on his back. It has been a few hours since he had began looking for Blue Pegasus, the guild he was willing to join, and he was really irritated by the fact he was uncapable to find it. He never knew how to walk around Fiore's cities and villages, since the biggest part of his life had been spent in the Purgatory and this was actually the first time he set foot in Fiore. The first time he set foot in Fiore indeed. He was still uncapable of understanding why did he appear in Fiore if he had fallen into the Purgatory while at Minstrel. It was a mystery for him, but he was not gonna question it. Besides, his entities had told him pretty clear that they prefered being in Fiore.
And then he finally found it. In front of him was the majestic building that was Blue Pegasus' Guildhall. A smirk made its way on Blaise's face as he walked to the Guildhall and looked around. It seemed to be pretty noisy, full of people having fun. Blaise shrugged and entered the Guild, then looked around again, rose his hand and with a blank expression, greeted everyone with a simple '' Yo.'' And walked to the bar, getting himself a drink.

Veona wasn't normally the type of person to sit around in a noisy place, normally she would tell everyone to shut up or just throw them an icy glare and the entire place would go quiet, but she didn't feel like dealing with everyone today. Hiding behind the bar and with headphones in her ears, she read her book silently, ignoring everyone else. For some reason at one point, her music was louder then she expected and she noticed that it was because the guild had quieted down a bit. Dasher stopped her music and stood up from her hiding spot only to notice a new face in the guild. A boy, he looked close to her own age, with long dark purple hair and blue eyes seemed to be the cause of the sudden loss of commotion. Veona sighed and jumped over the bar, approaching the new member with her usual deadpan face, “Erm, do you have any business here?”

Blaise noticed everything going silent as he entered, except for a music playing in the background. His eyebrow shot up at the instant as he glanced around the room and then turned around as he noticed that the annoying group of fangirls that he managed to escape from before was behind him. Numerous ''Kyaa'' and '' Blaise'' were heard from behind him, until, that is, he took out his katana with a quick movement and turned at them, Katana rosen. '' Okay, I've had enough. I give you 10 seconds to dissapear. 1...2...3....4...'' EVen at the fourth second, all of the fangirls were away. He managed to notice a girl talking to him. '' I go wherever I want, girlie. I am her to join the guild, though.'' He answered shortly and coldy.

Veona blinked at his curt and icy tone. A frown formed upon her lips and she glared at the man, she found it rude to speak to someone you barely know in such a way. "I doubt our guild would except someone with such a rude attitude." The summoner growled at him as she took her headphones out and plugged them back into her ears. Taking out her deck of cards she sat on one of the bar stools and started reassembling it, some of the units weren't in place. She looked back at the purple-haired boy once more and spoke with a tone that could probably freeze the room, "If you're going to talk that way to someone who was just trying to be nice, you should probably know that the exit's behind you." Then the white-haired female turned back towards the cards and didn't sent him another look.

Blaise let out a cold laughter escape his lips. This girl though he was actually rude. How interesting. He walked to her and stood in front of her, his katana back on his shoulders. '' You actually consider me rude, girlie? I think you haven't seen my bad side. '' Blaise said and crouched so he could look her in the eyes. '' I guess I was a bit rude. Let me get this again. I am Blaise Dex King and I am joining Blue Pegasus. Happy?'' He put a hand on her chin and mover her face so she could look at him. '' You look like a strong person, girlie. Now that you know my name, can I know yours?'' He asked, a grin spreading on his face.
Blaise was not the flirteous type, but there was something special in this girl that made him nice towards her... Well, at least half nice. He might not be interested in her in the romantic way, but he wanted to have her around for possible future collaborations with her in the mission area, never mind the fact that now she possibly hated him.

The female summoner blinked at the latter's actions, she wasn't used to sudden closeness with a person, especially someone of the opposite gender. Well, when you make an exception for Ren, he always hugged her and played with her hair and touched her precious cards without permission. Veona smacked Blaise's hand from her face and sent him a small glare. "I'm Veona Dasher, please do restrain yourself from invading my personal bubble." She told him, with the same icy tone as earlier and walked passed him towards her Guild master's room. She took a bunch of papers out from his desk and headed back towards the purple-haired boy. "Here, sign this." She told him as she handed him a pen without making eye contact. "It's the form for getting in, when you fill it out your in."

Blaise rose his eyebrow as the girl practically smacked his hand away. Okay, it was official: She hates Blaise. The purple haired summon mage only raised a brow and sighed as she gave him some sort of papers he had to sign. Oh dear, information sheets. I hate those, Blaise though. He laid the paper on a table and looked at it.

Name: Blaise Dex King (He was at the point of writing down Captain Superstud, but he kept himself from doing that. No need of being sarcastic and funny even before entering the guild... Right?)

Age: 18 (Again, he was at the point of writing 99 years old, but he kept himself from that once again.)

Birth city: Marseil, Minstrel

And the rest of the sheet went just like that. Blaise was at the point of writing something until he actually decided to write another one and ignore his instincts. He got up and sighed, then tied his hair in a ponytail once again and turned towards Veona. '' Here ya go. All finished up, Veona.'' After saying this and handing her the documents, he walked to the bar and ordered a drink. He needed it.

Veona accepted the papers and blinked how fast he had finished filling them out , he really didn't waste time. She though he was going to goof off, he didn't disappoint however, was she maybe, a BIT to harsh on him? She went up to her office and left the papers on her GM's desk. Then she took out a small box from one of the drawers under the desk and headed down towards Blaise's location- the bar. She sat down next to him, box in hand, "Pick a spot on your body for our insignia." She stated as she spared him a small smile before taking out her cards and looked through them again. She gave him a bit of time to think it over before she turned towards him with her usual blank expression "Pick a color too, you don't want me to make it pink do you, hm Blaise?" She grinned mentally, she didn't usually tease people but she felt bad for being too harsh on the poor boy earlier.

Blaise was calmly drinking his drink when Veona came to him again, a small box in hand. Blaise rose an eyebrow as a greeting to her and turned to her drink. It wasn't until she talked to him that he actually turned to look at her. '' The insignia...? Oh, right. I absolutely forgot.'' He said and got up, then took his white shirt off to reveal his well-shaped body. He could swore he hear a girl go Kyaa, but he didn't actually care. '' I want it over here, on my right pectoral. And please don't make it pink. I seriously prefere indigo.'' He said, his eyebrow still risen, hands on his hips, expecting his guild insignia to be put on the place he had requested politely.

Veona nodded and took out the stamp from the small box, so much for joking around a bit, guess the guy and her just didn't seem to get a long too well. She blinked at his sudden actions, she also grew annoyed at the sudden shouts of a few girls from the guild. She could hear their excited whispers and it caused a growl to escape her throat. "Would you shut up! He's just a boy for god's sake." She glared at the girls causing them to freeze in place and apologize. She sighed and stamped the insignia on the spot that the boy chose. "Sorry about them, most girls here would probably react that way." She sat back down on the stool quietly, eyes focusing on the boy in front of her, "So, whats your story?"

Blaise was surprised when Veona simply said that he is just a boy, and didn't react like most of the girls would have. She wasn't a fangirl. There was something special about her which Blaise considered something incredible, and he began slowly liking her more and more, until he was pretty sure that they could be at least friends or something like that.
He nodded as she said that possibly most of the girls react this way. She then asked him what's his story. He simply shrugged. '' I was borned in Minstrel. I lived there until I was 10. When I was 11, my brother got kidnapped and I was sent to the Purgatory, where I learned magic. That's it, in synopsis. What about you, Veona? What's your story?''

Veona blinked at him, she didn't expect a past such as that one, no wonder his attitude was rather mean. She paused before looking at the boy in front of her and telling him about her. "When I was around 6 my parents were murdered by a mercenary guild and I managed to escape the house, but I was chased down and almost killed by one of the mercenaries. A guy called Ren saved me and took me into his household, he taught me my magic." She finished telling him the story just as her phone rang. "Speak of the devil." Dasher clicked the answer button only to immediately hear Ren's cheerful shout. "VEO, I NEED YOUR HELP! HOW DO I TURN ON THE STOVE???"The summoner's reaction was an immediate face-plant into the bar counter. Not only was he an idiot, but he was also loud enough for the entire guild to hear. A few chuckles were heard from around the room as Veona attempted to calmly answer him. "Ah, thanks, I was really worried there, see you at dinner." Dasher closed her phone and embarrassment washed over her face. "Yeah thats Ren." She stated and shook her head.

Blaise could barely hold his laughter as Veona was called by her adoptive brother, who seemingly wanted to ask her how to turn on the stove. Veona face planted on the bar and Blaise chuckled and patted Veona on the head. When she got up again, embarrased, he smiled at her, feeling that the past tension between them had dissapeared, leaving only something small behind. '' You're not that bad, you know. You're kinda cool, to be honest.''

Dasher wasn't the type to accept compliments with a thanks. The girl blinked at the boy's actions, she wasn't used to skinship, neither was she used to seeing the guy smiling. She tilted her face to the side with a blank face as she looked at his features carefully. Now he was complementing her? Veona found this boy more and more confusing to her. She then poked him forehead with a finger and gave him another blank stare. "You're more handsome when you smile." She told him as she turned back around on her stool, towards the bar, she started taking a look through her cards again.

Blaise got up and ran a hand through his tied hair. He had no idea what to do right now. Since this was the first time he spent time outside of the Purgatory in years, and this was too weird for him to act normally. So he simply looked at Veona and asked her. '' So, anything specific you guys do?'' He refered to all BP.

Veona blinked at him and then remembered that she hadn't shown him to his room. "I'll tell you that AFTER, I show you to your room." She paused as she ran out of the room in a hurry, she came back with a key in hand. She pulled him by the hand as she headed down the stairs and walked out at the gorgeous Blue Pegasus gardens. She glanced at the boy as she headed down another pair of stairs, entering the Dormitories. "Sorry for dragging you." She muttered quietly and stopped in front of an unused room. She turned towards him and handed him his key. "The room's pretty descent, the only think you'd want would be a bar..." She paused quietly as she tried remembering something. "...but i think only S-rank mages and Aces have minibars."

Blaise huffed. So only Aces and S Ranked can have minibars? How annoying. He'd have to go to another tavern every morning, or after a job. He sat on his bed and looked at Veona with a smile. '' So, girlie, you haven't shown me or told me what your magic consists of.'' He said, pretty curious. There was some kind of power emanating from the girl, and he wanted to know what it is, see more of her, get to know her better.

Veona immediately shot the older mage a freezing glare. He had called her "girlie" again. Her hand reached towards her deck as she took out a card while she pushed him back onto his bed. "I have a name, Blaise, and it's only fair that if I used yours..." She raised the card towards his neck and leaned forward, whispering into his ear ".... that you call me by mine." She finished with a light growl as all frost disappeared from her eyes and she stood up from him, sitting next to him on the bed. She showed him the card she took out earlier with a small friendly smile "I use a form of summoning magic, I call units from the cards." She told him as she swiped her hand over card lovingly, her gaze softening.

Blaise's eyebrow shot up as Veona approached him and whispered in his ear that if she called him by his name, he should call her by hers. It was a fair treat, sure, and he was going to accept it. Calling her girlie had became a little habit since the first name he called her was that. She then told him she used a summoning magic that permitted her to summon cards. It was interesting and he wanted to see this magic in action. '' It sounds like in interesting magic. I've never heard of it, though.''

Veona nodded at the boy's reply. It was normal for people to not know about her magic. "Well you see, the magic was solely created by Ren and only me and him can use it." She explained as idiotic smile almost plastered itself on her face but she managed to calm herself down. Ren was an idiot for sure but she had this passion about their magic that made her very relaxed. Was the passion only about their magic though? She shook her head. "What about yours?" She asked Blaise as she stretched her arms and glanced at the purple haired boy. She lay back on his bed, looking up at the ceiling waiting for his answer.

Blaise smirked and got up. He drew out his katana and drew the purgatory symbol on the nearby wall and closed his eyes to concentrate. The symbol glew bright red. '' I, Blaise Dex King, summon Ren the Siren!'' Blaise yelled. His red magic seall appeared and a woman with black wings appeared. She dressed a white gown and had a sword on her hips. She bowed in front of Blaise. Ren, the only monster Blaise knew that was near to normal. He greeted her with a small nod and turned to Veona. ''I use the Purgatory Monster Summon. I summon monsters that are found in the Purgatory.'' He said. He then turned to Ren and dismissed her. He then turned to Veona, waiting for her reaction.

A look of amazement crossed Veona's features before she quickly covered it by running a hand through her hair, she wasn't used to seeing other summoners around, a quick smirk appeared on her features. The boy interested her in ways more then one, magically and character-wise he seemed like an amusing person. "So, I guess I'll leave you to yourself." She told him as she left the room, he was a guy, he needed his privacy. "If you need me for anything, anything at all, just come to my room, it's on your left.
