Job Description:
Strong mages needed! Our Duchess/Duke is moving from his/her summer home in Hargeon Town to his/her winter home in Clover Town! We need strong escorts to guard our Duke/Duchess on his/her way to the winter home! You must be disguised as our lord's/mistress's love while you guard them to dissuade bandits from attacking while on your journey. You must camp overnight to spare our lord's/mistress's strength while on this journey. Failure to do so will be a deduction from the largest amount of money offered for C-Rank missions, 10k, to the bare minimum. 5k.
Enemies:
Weak: Bronze Beetles
The animals are natives to the paths coming to and from Hargeon Town. These animals are said to be called "Bronze" beetles because of the way their backs shine in the light. These beetle are the size of a dog and tend to travel in groups of three.
Normal: Thieving Bandits
These bandits are unparalleled at stealing belongings. They can take jewels without you noticing until your at the next town. They are rather quick, but stand no chance in a real fight. They are equipped with daggers.
Strong: Murderous Thieving Bandits
These are like the thieving bandits' big brothers. These bandits have seen the harsh life that banditeering and thievery bring. This new look on life have left them with one simple conclusion. The best way to get safe money is to kill the holder. Beware fighting these men. You may not want to harm them, but the same cannot be said about you to him.
Reward:
If the Duke/Duchess is brought to their winter home after a proper night's rest, and not harmed by bandits- 1500
If you push the Duke/Duchess through the night to Clover Town, or if they are harmed in anyway- 500
(Note: If the Duke/Duchess is encountered by a Bandit of any kind, the Bandit gets a roll to see if they strike the Duke/Duchess. However the Duke/Duchess does not get a block roll and is dependent on the MISS dice to be rolled in order to not be harmed. This action takes 100% priority in the mission, and should be the very first thing read when reviewing. This is to make the mission harder and disable anyone from always getting a 100% full jewel reward).
Being outside like this, on a gorgeous spring day. Where the sun would shine brightly bringing out all the flowers and small animals that had hid themselves during the cold and harsh winter. Was really something that August could enjoy, the serenity of it all. The fresh spring flowers that would sprung out of the ground, and the birds chirping in the trees. Where greenish leafs would start to fill up the trees branches once again.
Well if it only wasn't for one small disturbance.
'HEY, WHY IS THIS ROAD SO BOUNCY!! YOU THERE HOW MUCH LONGER IS THIS GOING TO TAKE!!!'
Out of the carriage window appeared a face of lady in her mid thirties, with a red victorian style hat on it. Something that was typical worn by the female members of the aristocrat group. This was Catharina Oakwood the duchess of Hargeon Town. Who had reguested a mage escort since her own men suddenly had fallen sick. Well sick was maybe not the right word for it, hungover was a better word for. Really really hungover. So much that they were still recovering at Clover Towns infirmary.
So in their absence she had asked Fairy Tail to send them a proper mage to escort her back home. But if August knew that the woman was such a spiteful person he would've never accepted the job.
With a huge sigh, August would turn around a bit on his horse. So that he could reply to the woman.
'Miss we just left Hargeon Town, we still have two days of riding ahead of us.'
With a small tch sound the Catharina retracted her head from the window and would sit quietly again in the carriage. Yet August would doubt that she was just sitting there quietly, he knew her kind of personality and it was just a matter of time till she had found something else she could complain about.
