Post by Felicity 14th April 2014, 3:03 am

Era was becoming more and more dull; each day only further reiterating the same old facts which Aedre had begun to begrudgingly accept as she stayed within the city. She hated the city and had no idea why she was still there, but there was something about it, something which seemed odd enough about the whole to keep her here. If she knew the reason why, then she probably would be more inclined to hasten her departure, to return home and not have to deal with anything else, though if she were to even do that, then she would find herself back in the depths of Spooky Forest, where the people were arguably as corrupt as the people in Era. Besides that too, with regards to the Magic Council being the main occupying force in this city, so was Savage Skull one of the complaints that she held towards everything there. The Magic Council was weak, but so was the entire populace of this thriving city. Aside from her, there seemed to be no one on the street that deserved her acknowledgement, or for that matter, anything like her help or respect. She would damned if there ever came a time in which she was going to be forced to acknowledge or be put in a position where she needed the aid of whomever was in this damned city or the damned Council, whether it was the foolish Chairman or any of the other members; not like she knew any names of them now.
This severe hate was what made her choose Savage Skull, she had found herself someplace which accepted her hate for what it was and only helped nurture it.
Either way, regardless of why it was that she was still in Era, it wasn’t for her to worry about right now. Now, it was more just how was she going to go about her day. As she walked through the streets, her eyes constantly wandered throughout the streets, examining the people, noticing everything that they were doing, all the while seeming to be utterly shocked and fascinated by them.
'What the hell are they doing? Ugh... kids and their stupid games. Er... why would that shop be so dirty? No wonder he looks so alone, crepy like a worm anyways.' And so on and so forth.
Random thought upon thought ushered into her head, each one of them of something differnet, but each one nonetheless having a deep impact on her. While most people were probably inclined to think that she was merely just someone who was angry at what was going on in the instant that they passed by, in that moment she was calculating multiple ways in which she would end up killing them.

Post by Felicity 14th April 2014, 3:43 am

Fortunately for the people, not once did she actually act upon those, but it still was something that they ought to consider themselves grateful for – if that is, they even realized they were in such a close position towards facing death. As they all seemed to grant Aedre looks disdain, they continued along with their days, thereby doing whatever the hell they wanted to, only looking back to make sure that the pinkette wasn't following them. She wasn't, as she felt no reason to pay any more attention to them than she had already thus far, and they felt the same. Except for one other individual.
He appeared from the shadows, as though he had been watching the Slayer walk for a long while now, and for as attentive as she was, she missed the sight of him. It wasn't her fault though, as much of him was hidden underneath a thick black robe which covered the entirety of his body, there being nothing to distinguish unique features of him, rather only the faint outline of his robed body in the darkness. However, for as mysterious as he might have looked, so he was when he appeared before Aedre all of a sudden, without there being any movement around him, no dust being lifted up, nor any sound which accompanied him, "Powerful, and yet, so ill tempered. You are indeed unique."
Aedre stopped in her tracks as she turned her head around to notice the black robes of the figure. Even in the direct sunlight, there were no images of the man, no way to indicate who he was, nor what gender it was, as its voice sounded more like an echo than it did that of an actual person. She glared her eyes as she turned entirely around and crossed her arms over her chest, slightly irritated that this figure felt it necessary to disturb her. At least though, it recognized power within Aedre. "And? You act almost as though I’m wrong for my behavior. Should I care about them at all? I don’t know who they are, but should I even? After all, look at what I have done and then compare it to what they hoped to achieve, even in their entire lifetimes."
Her back was turned to the cloaked man, but she could still sense the smirk or deathly grin hiding under the hood, as a whispery breath escaped him, "You're right M'lady. But, would you like to deal with a better bunch?"
    "Huh?"
"There's a Guild in the Mountain Village, disturbing its inhabitants quite a lot---"
But coming to the realization of the creature's identity Aedre cut through his whispered explaination, "Isn't that a good sign for the Kugeki? I always thought we were more interested in such acts. Did I misunderstand our true intentions?"

Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre Empty Re: Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre

Post by Felicity 14th April 2014, 4:17 am

"Why do you have to make everything so painfully amusing, Miss Aedre? It gives me the shivers." It replied to the question that was actually meant to be rhetorical. These minions belonged to the Kugeki, this and a million others. They were usually the messengers, dealing with the meager job of passing Job Sheets and important messages among the Kugeki Kings and members.
"But anyways, the Guild's name is Black Lotus; a small guild now, but slowly thriving with new recruits. If we don't stop them soon enough, they'll be too much of a pain to take care of. They seem to be running some underground business with the resources in Mountain Village. Now we don't care about the villagers or the carnage that they'll unleash, but the Kugeki does not want business deals to take place with their permission. Afterall, you all are the ruling powers of the Dark Side."
The echoing voice of the figure resonated through Aedre’s ears, as though it was extremely loud, but yet nobody around her acted as though they failed to realize that it was there at all. It was a spell or more of a curse on the creatures, for their appearance was solely for the Kugeki's eyes, ears and mind.
Aedre had only nodded to his explanation, "Leave it to me."
Once again, a grin might have adorned the creature's hooded face as he placed a gnarled and bony hand into the folds of its cloak and pulled out a piece of paper.
"Some of our men turned it into an official job from the Legal side, so there's a reward, a client and a no-doubt situation from the villagers."
A chuckle left Aedre's lips and the creature disappeared into a haze of black smoke as soon as he handed the paper over.
Blue hues scanned the yellow and well-thumbed piece of parchment, 'Atleast you managed to make it worth my time.'

    ~5 hours later~

She had walked. A long and tiring walk from Era to the heart of Mountain Village. Sh couldn't take some comfortable transportation due to the motion sickness that she dealed with; all thanks to being a Dragon's child. A Dragon Slayer.
However, the last time Aedre had been in Mountain Village and she had met her twin brother. It was more due to the folds of fate than anything else, but it was a good thing nevertheless. She had managed to meet someone she believed to be dead or something, or more like, faded from her memory actually. This time, she was walking through the dusty road that led to the client's house. Fake or not, she was supposed to get the location details of Black Lotus from this person, since the messenger had left to his comfort without any further explanation. According to the Job Sheet, the client was the brother of Black Lotus's Guild Master, which only made him a better candidate for the position of client.
But what surprised Aedre like always was the way the Kugeki managed to pull all this; its links certainly ran deep into the systems of Fiore. Deeper than one would ever expect since it was part of the Dark Side and led most of the guilds like Savage Skull.

Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre Empty Re: Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre

Post by Felicity 14th April 2014, 5:18 am

Almost nearing the ending of the road, Aedre saw looming above her, a beautiful, serene, majestic, and yet forbidding enough to make her heart sink into her boots. It towered above her, dominating the whole village; a magnificent house built on the edge of a cliff. The grandeur made Aedre sure for a second that her pay will be satisfying for once. She couldn't help but wonder as to why this still wasn't a target for the Dark Guild; was it because it nestled the Guild Master's brother? The chances for that guess were really low, for dark mages never shied away from family members and Aedre was a pretty good example here.
So, to the friendly peasants and tradespeople in the houses nestling beneath its shadow it may have signified protection and home, but to the Dark Guilders, such a magnificent wonder of architecture struck the note of doom and was a sight to make the bravest quail. The outside walls were on average seven feet thick, and the inner courtyard was about two hundred and fifty feet above the river-level.
The pinkette marched slowly up the steep and narrow cobbled streets towards the house that represented a castle in many ways. It was a pity that her client didn't belong to some royal line, or it would've been fun to think that one of the prince fell into the dirtier side of the abyss called world. Entering the main arched gateway, she crossed a causeway astride what had once been a deep, wide moat and passed under a second cavernous archway whose oaken doors swung open and closed ominously behind her with the clanging of heavy iron bars in true medieval fashion. Old houses were always a thing for fascination, with their little, dark secrets. Aedre had spent a good portion of her childhood in such a house and understood the thrill of it.
It was a courtyard with some grass lawns and flower-beds surrounding all four sides with building-like structures six stories high. They stood so tall that the shadows created by the setting sun were unnaturally long and the light had a hard time penetrating the darkness.
The whole place gave of an unspeakably grisly vibe.
The sound of her cracking fingers were heard, before she rang the bell that hung low in front of the majestic door. The sound would have sent a shiver down the spine of the unwary and while Aedre stood there, she prognosticated a talk with the client in her head.
The door opened and a young butler stood on the other side. With a delicate feminine face, neck-length blue hair and similarly colored eyes. He didn't say a single word, but only looked questioningly, asking for her identity wordlessly.
Aedre unfolded the job sheet and handed it over to him, "Came for that." She stated bluntly, her hand hovering lazily in the air.
He turned around almost with a puppet-like motion, as if he were a wooden doll for entertainment and was being controlled by the strings on the ceiling, "Follow me."

Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre Empty Re: Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre

Post by Felicity 14th April 2014, 6:00 am

The butler's voice was the kind that Aedre hated. Especially when it was seen in men; a sickeningly, sweet voice that almost made her feel nauseous. There was something off-place with such people and they usually turned out to be traitors or extremely tortured-to-perfection kind. Seeing his place in the house, the guy seemed to belong to the latter category.
As grand the house looked from the outside, it was nothing less inside. The same immaculate-ness followed her in each and every step, putting a sense of fear that you might just break something or make something dirty. It made you feel guilty for no reason and it wasn't really appreciated by the pinkette. The duo had just climbed up a spiral flight of staircase and now stood right infront of an intricately designed wooden door. Majestic, was the only word that would describe it successfully.
The butler fumbled in his pockets for a second, pulling out a clinking, shiny set of keys held together by a ring, as he started to search for the right one.
"You locked your Master inside?" Aedre questioned curiously, as one of her eyebrows perched up bemusedly. The man stopped for a second, replying monotonously, "Yes. He prefers solitude."
A small smile curved up the Slayer's lips, she preferred solitude herself, but she would never ask herself to be locked in some room. Especially, by the people who worked for her. She never trusted anyone and even if she did, she would not trust them with her freedom of movement. Being locked up in a room would undoubtedly by a hellish nightmare, magnified by the fact that Aedre feared captivity or even the remote thought of it.
The door had clicked open and the butler had already stepped inside, followed by Aedre. Right in front of her, laid the behemoth of all tables in this world, covering the entire width of the unusually wide room. It was strewn with all kinds of paper and files, in other terms; a complete mess.
On the other side of the table, a man sat, though his facial features were completely hidden, as his back was turned in Aedre's direction and only his head could be seen due to the high chair he was sitting on. He was facing a window very calmly.
"Leave, Hayate." A firm voice came from the Master's direction and the butler was off with a quick bow.
'My assumptions were right. Pathetically trained to perfection.'
As the butler's feet echoed and faded into the corridor, only silence followed.
After a wait of about five seconds, Aedre questioned, "I suppose you're meant to give me the exact location of this Guild's hideout, or do you wan----"
"Shh, girl. I'm waiting for him." The man had cut through Aedre's question, thus instilling an instant dislike for himself in the pinkette's mind.
Just as she was about to question who the him was, something swooped into the room from the open window. As it perched on the man's arm, Aedre noticed that it was an eagle; slightly bigger and quite better looking than the average ones. Every single feather was perfect and its eyes were glinting as he seemed to observe the pinkette intently.
"So she is the one?" The eagle spoke! In a normal tongue, normal language. Aedre had always been able to understand animals, but she could differentiate between when they spoke normal tongue or made noises and this time it had asked in a normal tongue.
    'That's interesting.'
"Well, she did come... So I'll leave the rest to you." The man behind the chair; who also happened to be the Master of the house, replied to the bird.

Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre Empty Re: Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre

Post by Felicity 16th April 2014, 3:20 am

Aedre had no idea why, but she already had a bad feeling about this. The exchange betwen the man and the bird made her restless for no reason and she really wasn;t that adept at hiding this uneasiness, "Excuse me. I feel as if I should know what's happening over here... Care to elaborate?"
Their gazes turned in her direction, analyzing for a second or two, before the man spoke, "This is Orel, my companion. He's the only one who knows Black Lotus's hideouts and the like. He'll escort you there and also help you with the battle."
With the man finishing his explaination, a barely noticeable frown was formed on Aedre's face, but she only bit down her lower lip and kept shut. The pinkette preferred to work alone at such times, since no one was able to get in her way and no one other than her was to be blamed for a failure. If something like that happened, that is. A failure from Aedre's part was quite an unlikely incident, since she was a born perfectionist and had the capability to be ruthless, cunning and manipulated when the situation called for it. She also found it rather stupid on the man's part to say that the eagle might help her in the unavoidable conflict with the members of Black Lotus, only coming to the conclusion that he was joking or playing with her head.
She chuckled slightly, "So you're telling me that a talking eagle will help me in battle? Sorry, but I really have better jobs than listening to lame jokes." Aedre stated, her arrogant side showing itself, it was a part of her personality that was just not seen much by the people around her.
The man smirked, as the bird ruffled his feathers carelessly, not paying attention to the Slayer's comment at all.
"You're just unaware of Orel's power. That's all." The man revealed, looking at her with a steady gaze and then quickly shifting it towards the eagle.
"Well, then I guess I'll be accompanying you, young lady. I'll be waiting near the entrance." A sentence was spoken and the bird flew into the open sky from the window behind the man. As he did so, the client turned his chair, now facing Aedre, "My brother is quite a powerhouse. I've sent countless people to take care of him, but none of them ever returned alive. I hope you have a better fate my child." He spoke, his tone suddenly grave and wary of something unknown and invisible.
The pinkette almost cringed when he called her child, but was understanding enough to take it as a common phrase among old geezers like him.
"I'll get going then." With that, the young woman turned around on her heels, opening the door and stepping on a nearby shadow. Her body melted into it and coalesced in the shadow of a old statue near the door. She pushed the behemoth of doors open, being greeted by the faint light of dusk and the silhouette of something large and monster-like standing by the gates.
'What in the world is that?!'

Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre Empty Re: Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre

Post by Felicity 16th April 2014, 4:41 am

"... waiting near the entrance." A sentence played inside her head, causing her eyebrows to scrunch together in disbelief.
"It can't be." Aedre whispered to none other than herself, taking cautious, but hastened steps towards the gates. As the distance closed, her suspicion was only strengthened, for she noticed the silhoutte to be of the shape of a bird, as one could pretty much figure out by the way the breeze seemed to ruffle the feathers.
The old geezer's words sunk in her understanding now, Orel's powers were unknown to her until now, for what stood right before her was a bird that was many times the size of the one she saw inside the office. Her gaze clearly spoke of the surprise she carried and the bird seemed to understand it quite well, "Surprised, eh?" He questioned, his voice laced with a bit of sarcasm.
Aedre simply averted her eyes away as she walked nearer and stood right next to him, she shied away from answering that with anything, for haste of any kind will bring only further embarassement.
"Climb on." The bird stated, spreading its wings and bending down slightly. She quietly climbed onto his back and their journey began!

    ~Half An Hour Later~

They had been flying and flying high in the sky for quite some time now. It was a bit tiring, but Aedre had to admit that flying like this was a great experience. As her fingers dug into the the rich, brown plumage of the eagle's back, she was provided with a sense of security.
Keen blue eyes watched with a light-dazed stare as the moon rose curled through the clouds at around eight in the night, a reflection of the moon shining in her eyes. Aedre's arms freed themselves from being chained to the bird's neck and she stretched it on both sides. Her fingers seemed to be crumbling against the softness of the air and its silky gentleness. Everything about this night seemed intense, but decidedly perfect as well. The horizon was filled with the sound of flapping wings, the one that resembled the blades of a windmill.
"We're almost there." The bird's voice broke the calm in her mind and Aedre once again placed her arms around him, expecting a descend anytime soon.
Below them, swathed in mist, was the shadow of a small town, looking all serene in the purple light of the night. Aedre kept a watch on any kind of movement that she could see below. By then, the bird had opened its mighty wings and angled them downwards, sending them in a barrel roll through the sky. The rushing air tickled the pinkette's skin and they landed silently into the ground. The tumble had ceased, but as soon as her feet hit the ground, a dizzy sensation over flooded her for a split second. It went as soon as it came and the young woman's vision was back to normal.
She turned behind, expecting to see the mighty bird behind her, but was surprised once again as there was not a single soul there.
"Hehe, right here." A voice said in her head, which she recognized it as Orel's.
"Where are you?" She questioned in a urgent whisper, not sure of it this was telepathy or not.
"Look above." Doing as she was told, the Slayer tilted her head upside, only to see the eagle circling above in the sky; in a normal size.
    'What a pathetic joke.'
She thought in the context of the size changes that Orel was capable of.
'Oi, I can hear your thoughts. So try keeping them to yourself.'

Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre Empty Re: Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre

Post by Felicity 16th April 2014, 5:21 am

It was undoubtedly annoying; the fact that Orel could listen Aedre's thoughts and that realization made her try her very best to keep her thoughts to herself. But as expected, she could not do so. No one in this world is capable of keeping their mind empty like a board, then how could Aedre do that?
She simply walked around, looking out for any kind of suspected movement in the surroundings. She had asked the bird to keep an eye out from above, since he really had the best vantage point from the sky.
Several thoughts swirled and ushered inside her head, as her pace fastened or slowed according to the topic of her worries.
You see, she had been in Era for a good while now, even though in reality it had only seemed to be nothing more than perhaps a few days. In reality, her perception of time within these cities were beginning to blend together, in particular due to the fact that it seemed that the days only managed to remain as boring as they lacked originality and uniqueness to them. Each day she got up, bitched and complained about the day, went back and complained some more, did whatever various affairs she might have been involved with, perhaps visit a bar for a bit. Regardless of what she might have done, there were no actions which managed to occupy her time or get her attention that greatly. Combat and battle didn’t seem to exist within the city, especially given that most of the focus as of late had been centered around Era now, in particular being the city’s growing and seemingly constant need to gain aid, in particular because of the fact that there were a great number of incidents which had afflicted them and the Magic Council. It was rather ironic though by the fact that she was herself was responsible for a couple of those injuries and deaths, and perhaps even more twisted was the fact that she felt no remorse, no pain, no pity, or was in the least disturbed by any of it. Now though, the pinkette was beginning to go insane within the town. It was perhaps as bad as a day in Clover Town, though at least within Era, she was able to kill.
She had enjoyed herself tremendously on that day in Era, after her fight with Dryaw she had sneaked into a few allies killed a substantial number of Rune Knights, before retreating to Savage Skull; due to the immense feeling of satisfaction that had flooded her.
Aedre's main aim had always been the destruction of the Council and that say in Era, watching all of the events transpire before her eyes made her feel happiness after many days. It was happiness and not some twisted form of it.
A low hmm rang inside her head in Orel's voice, 'I'm not exactly enjoying these thoughts of this girl. I wonder what he might have said now.'
'What?! Who's the "he"?' Aedre questioned inside her head.
'Oh, did I say something? Um, nevermind, it was just a slip of the... mind. Orel mused back, his thoughts being laced with a bit of nervousness. Aedre instantly knew that something was off, the eagle was definitely hiding something important.

Post by Felicity 19th April 2014, 12:22 am

'I don't really enjoy secrets and s--' Her thoughts were brought to a halt, as Aedre noticed that while she was travelling through the main roads, she had, at some point down the line, accidentally made a turn that she hadn’t intended on. It never affected where exactly she was going, it really didn't. Because at the moment, she was more interested in getting a clue of the Black Lotus's location, which mostly included in her carving out a proper path. It entirely depended on the phenomenon called as luck; even though Aedre failed to believe in it at all. It was much due to the fact that wherever she went was how she was proceeding with things. She never cared much about or if she ventured too far or not far enough, as at this point she held no obligations or duties towards anyone. Well, atleast no duties that she had to take seriously. Third of all, some part of her mind was still occupied with the person that Orel had mentioned, for it just managed to struck a chord with her. But after that she couldn't hear Orel's thoughts at all and had the feeling that he couldn't do that too.
As of now, the pinkette was just walking dumbly in this wrong turn that fate had chosen for her. So, it was only when she passed a particularity unique alleyway that she seemed to stop in her tracks. Turning her head, she noticed what looked to have been a man – or at least, what she thought was a man – standing there talking with another individual, one of which she wasn't quite sure of the gender herself. She felt that she might have seen the man at one point in the past, though in all truth, it was very likely that she had never met the man him at all. At times like these, people's brain just loves to mess with their brains, creating experiences similar to deja vu. Either way, there was something about this whole thing which drew her attention, as though the hooded man was calling her. Proceeding there with a level of caution, she came within only a few feet of the two before speaking, "The hell do you want, Mister? Summoning me like that isn't a great idea." She stated, her voice unusually arrogant. At times, Aedre could be quite full of herself, it was a rare occasion, but certainly possible.
She noticed that both the men were hooded, a shade casting over their faces, thus covering themselves with an air of mystery in the darkness of the night.
"And it really isn't a great idea to roam the streets at this time of the night lady. Who do you think you are? I guess you're new around here." One of them warned, though Aedre couldn't figure out which one did. A barely noticeable smirk appeared on her features, as she could suddenly hear Orel's voice inside her head, 'What are you doing there talking with those people? Its not safe.'
'I have a feeling that I'm talking to the right people, Orel.'
    'Black Lotus?'
"Yes, I'm new. I was looking for my younger brother, but I lost my way." The young woman explained, her voice turning into a fake apology in a matter of seconds, not to mention the fact that she made an acceptable-sounding lie with expertise.
'I think so. Is there any way of confirming?'
Silence loomed for a single heartbeat and Aedre fleetingly feared that the men had somehow seen through her.
"Well, Ron will lead you to your house then." The one on the left said, pointing to his fellow.
'Hoods. It plays the role of a guild insignia. The villagers won't wear them due to the fear of being considered Lotus's members.'

Post by Felicity 19th April 2014, 1:16 am

'Well, I found the right people then.' Aedre mused back in her thoughts, as one of the men walked past her, indicating that she could follow him. But that was not going to happen, right?
With a smirk adorning her face, Aedre crossed her arms in an X shape, as the wind began swiveling around her frame and a colossal amount of water condensed on her arms.
"H-Hey! What are you---- Sh-She's a mage!" The man who was still standing to her side shreiked out, causing his fellow guild member to turn around in surprise. By then, Aedre's arms had taken the form of a massive Dragon's Wings and she had stretched them in an outward direction.
Without giving them enough time to react, the pinkette spun slightly on her feet, sweeping the Wings on the ground in such a way that it sent the two men flying in the air.
Both of them were sent careening in the same direction, hitting a huge statue in the center of the street. Not wanting to miss even a single heartbeat, Aedre swung her arms high in the air, before sending it down in their direction and crashing it straight into the hard ground.
The water splashed all around, causing an explosion like state, which only expanded in a ten meter radius. The intense pressure of the water was so strong that it sent the ground cracking below, while tossing the two men outwards. Both of them landed in opposite directions, sprawled onto the ground in exactly similar positions; looking like some sort of twins at this moment.
Their hoods were drenched with water, but had also fell of their faces, thus revealing their identity.
The whole attack had caused quite a ruckus and had beckoned many villagers on the windows of their houses. Aedre's keen vision noticed several noses pressed to the glasses as they watched with sleepy yet glinting eyes.
'You're quite noisy, you know. I can hear and see this from several meters away.'
'Sometimes, brute force wins over brains and stealth. Atleast for me.'
'What else would I expect from a Slayer...'
'Yea--- Wait. I never mentioned my magic.' Silence loomed once again, as there was no reply from Orel's side. At this moment, Aedre was pretty certain that the eagle was hiding something very important from her. There was a sort of mystery about this bird and the way he seemed to know a little too much about her.
'Suspicious Orel. You're suspicious. But I'll worry about that later.' She thought, as one of the men had staggered onto his feet.
He placed his palms together, aiming it in Aedre's direction, as an orb of darkness condensed in front of his hand.  small smile lit the young woman's features, since such coincidences were exactly what she waited and yearned for.
A second later, the shadows seared through the air, aiming in her direction. The bolt hit her, thus enveloping her whole body in a shroud of darkness, a maniacal cackle by the man echoing in the area.
But much to his dismay, the pinkette had simply waved her hand in a collecting-like action and the shadows were right in the palm of her hand. She placed it near her mouth, eating it like one would so with some fruit, albeit without biting.
    "Not bad for a snack."

There was surprise glazing the man's eyes, but he slowly seemed to realize the matter at hand.
"Y-You're a Slayer?" He stuttered in utter fear.
"Bull's eye." Aedre stated mischievously, as her feet left the ground and she rushed towards his direction in a heartbeat; her eye also at the other man who was still sprawled on the ground.
The first punch glanced the man's chin. He noticed too late that it was a feint, though, the second punch doubled him over and expelled the last bit of choked air from his beer-weighted belly. It was a heck of a shot. Outside of having the wind knocked from him, which he would hate for the rest of his life, the man noticed a fair amount of pain with the gutshot, which was something he wasn't used to. A hit to the face, yes, or even the kidney...but the gut shouldn't have been much more than discomfort, if that.
Fortunately, he might have been used to it all. He seemed to be the kind of guy who knew that even being out of air was something he could deal with expertly.
He stood straight though, eyes bulging with rage, and stared at the pinkette —some pretty-faced young woman with a smart mouth— right in his shifty little eyes. She stood tall and perfect, better with the little snack she enjoyed some while ago. The man failed to have her where he wanted her.
“You…little…” He took a lurching step forward with each word. On the third, he swung.
The blow felt too sluggish. The man knew the second he launched it. A spry, smirking Aedre ducked under it smoothly and before the man could even register the dodge, however, another body shot, this one to his ribs, sent fresh ripples of pain through his torso. He didn’t fall—he made absolutely sure he did not fall—but it was a lot closer than he’d have liked. In other places and villages, where he was more well-known as a member of Black Lotus, his reputation would have already taken a beating whether he won the fight or not.
But, Aedre went in for another shot. The man simply tried to shove her off and seeing her scoot back a bit gave him a second wind and he tried to land a futile attempted punch.
Aedre still stood there, holding her position and also the smirk on her face.
It was unreal. Between the pain in his guts and ribs and the general confusion, the sight of the woman on her feet, perfectly un-hurt, after the patented him was beat left-right-left was not something he wanted to see. He threw a haymaker that the Slayer ducked but didn’t parry, then another that she swung under again—and responded in turn with an uppercut.
    Click.
The sound of the man's upper and lower rows of teeth making unplanned contact sickened him. Still, he kept his feet. He had to. Falling down was not—
He fell down on the ground with a bad ache—both in his head and his ego.
“Dammit.” he said, his throat sore from the effort of speaking that single word.
However, Aedre had already shifted attention to the one that now stood right behind her, back on his feet with an unrivaled confidence.

Post by Felicity 22nd April 2014, 5:04 am

"Think you're quite stong Slayer? Guess what, you haven't even seen a small bite of Black Lotus's true power! I have a bevy of men working for me, each stronger than the other. You will never be able to deal with them on your own." The man spoke, his hands placed on his hips, voice jubilant, full of pride and confidence. Apparently, he felt more ready to take Aedre now. More likely due to the fact that she had only used one of her weaker spells on them and he had ended up concluding it as her full strength. But among his words, what caught her attention the most was when he said that he had a good chunk of people working under him. Would that mean he was some sort of leader? But a Guild's sole leader is its Master... 'This man? Seriously?'
Taking a deep breath, Aedre started preparing for one of her spells, as a blue aura swirled and converged around her frame, giving it an extremely imposing visual.
"You said... people under you... So, I guess you're the Guild Master?"
A smirk formed on his smug face, "Bull's eye." He stated, making a bad try at imitating Aedre's words of a few seconds before.
The blue aura around continued the expansion, casting an ethereal light all over the young woman, as she gave off a bemused smile to the man before her. He did not make a single move, indicating that he'd let her make the first move once again. Boy, did he have any idea that Aedre had a thing for surprise attacks, not to mention that she did hold expertise in that case. With a snap, the blue aura turned into pressurized water, now changing shapes into a vortex-like sphere, surrounding its caster.
Aedre's blue hues locked itself on the man and a second later, she burst forward, causing the ground beneath to crack slightly and the wind to move behind her like a helix due to her speed.
Reaching right in front of him, the pinkette would be still for a split second, as the vortex would burst itself in all directions and splash the man wet once again. The streams of vortex attacked like a whip, hitting his body several times and almost knocking him off his feet. But the Guild Master won't be that easy and Aedre was well aware of that.
In between all of this too, he had started to initiate one of his own spells, or so the Slayer guessed by observing his body movements.
"Not so easily." She let out, as the whipping would cease slightly. She had noticed that the man's shadow was positioned right in front of him and that she was actually standing on top of it, so with a smirk, the woman's feet melted into the shade and so did her whole body.
"Fuck it!" The man cursed in dismay, as Aedre's spell disappeared into thin air, leaving him more drenched.
However, her body coalesced right behind him, as her hand landed a crucial chop on his neck.
    "Bull's eye, right?"

With a grunt escaping him, the man's eyes would've bulged due to the sudden impact of the chop and he bent forward slightly. However, regained the previous position and made a futile attempt to hit in a backward direction with his elbow. Unfortunately for him, Aedre had shadow-stepped out of the way and ended up right in front of him.
With a small grin making its way onto her face, she took one step forward, her foot really planting into the hard ground beneath.
Two crushing overhead strikes came from her side, which, due to the suddenness came as a surprise to the man.
"You---" He started, but Aedre shut him up with a left uppercut and was internally glad that she didn't need to hear any nonsensical blabbering from his side. Oh, how she despised that.
Using some momentum from her previous strikes, the woman step hopped to the left and delivered another hammer like right hook. The man stumbled to the right, spitting a blob of blood out and muttering a few curses beneath his breath. Just then, Aedre spun in a backward direction and held her opposite leg forward for a spin kick aimed right at his stomach to end the melee combo.
As soon as the last attack made contact, the man backpedaled out of control and fell on his back, ending up glaring at the pinkette.
"Tch, tch, did I make the Guild Master angry? Will I have your wrath upon me now?" Aedre questioned sarcastically, simply trying too get on his nerves and piss him off.
    It seemed to work.
"Not only me..." The man trailed off, as his hand shot towards the sky and a black magic circle formed right on top of his palm. With a blinding flash of dark light, a pentacle rose into the heavens itself and burst in a fire-cracker like fashion.
'The King has called his Pawns.' Orel's voice resounded in Aedre's head.
    "... But my entire Guild."
His hand fell back to his side and he tried to stagger back on his feet. Orel had made the young woman realize that the pentacle was actually a sign of help, something that the Master used to call forth his minions; better known as Guild Members.
"You're their Master and you can't stand up against me... What would your members do? Pathetic! That's what Dark Guilds of these days have become. Except a few handful like Savage Skull itself. Now wonder the Kugeki is disappointed."
At the mention of Aedre's Guild and alliance, the man's gaze flattened, "You... You mention them as if-"
"-As if I'm part of them?" She cut through, interrupting his stuttering speech.
An eerie chuckle escaped her lips.
"Well, I'll be honest, atleast with you..."
The pinkette rubbed her hands together, before intertwining her fingers and flexing them, as she could hear several footsteps reverberating on the cobbled streets of the village.
    "... I am."

A look of dismay crossed the man's face, as he stared at the pinkette with widened eyes. A member of Savage Skull was no joke, it was not to be taken lightly. This fact had now embossed itself in the man's mind, causing his body to shiver ever-so-slightly. Aedre only looked at him in disdain, in her opinion, the dark side had really become pathetic, while the Legal Guilds were uniting more and more, their bonds as strong as ever. A Guild like Savage Skull was left alone to fight for its cause, alone against the million that would be ready to stand up against them.
If it was a matter of numbers, the Magic Council really had far more than their opposing forces. Nowadays, they were growing in terms of power as well.
The situation was not looking good, infact, it was turning bleaker by the second. As against them, what did the Dark Guilds have? A few elite like Savage Skull and some of these pitiful fools like Black Lotus, and very evidently, the numbers of the latter category outnumbered the former one.
"Hey! Stay away from the Master!" A voice called out, though Aedre didn't turn back at all.
She could figure out from the noises of the approaching footsteps, they were still about half a dozen meter away.
Both of her hands soon came close to each other, as the air around her caught speed, swiveling around her frame as a small orb of incandescent water took birth in her hands. Still keeping contact between the tips of her fingers, the woman slowly brought separation to her palms; so the Guild Master of Black Lotus could see a beach ball sized, fluid sphere in her hand.
"Watch~" She stated, her voice mischievous, trying to piss the man even more than he was at the moment. It certainly was fun, fun that gave a sick sense of pleasure to her. Thus, flailing her hands back, Aedre released the sphere in the air, making it float twenty meters above the ground. It pulsated strongly for a second, before degenerating into twenty streams of water with arrow-like tips. They would all home in on the men that approached in the pinkette's direction, four arrows for each.
There were sounds heard in the background, sound of men falling and letting out groans of pain, as Aedre walked closer to the Guild Master and picked him up by the collar. She made him stand on his feet with her strength, leaning forward such that he lips were only a hair apart from his ear, "You were fun... But, sadly, I'm not here for fun." She whispered.
At the same time a sword had materialized out of thin air in her right hand, a bright teal colored blade that shone in the pale moonlight.
She pulled back her face, a small sigh escaping her lips and her eyes had taken a last look of the face; she had driven the sword through his stomach.
A low, barely audible groan left him and Aedre's grip on his collar loosened, so that he fell on his back; still clutching his abdomen as blood poured out of the deep wound.
    Death... would approach slowly.
The Slayer turned behind with a spur of her heels, as the teal sword was transferred over to her left hand and a new black one; similar in size but not structure, had appeared in her right. Keen blue eyes fixated themselves on the men who had staggered onto their feet.
'Have to get rid of them all...' She reminded herself.

The men had shock painted all over their face, afterall, they had witnessed the killing of their Guild Master and had failed to take any action that could have stopped it from happening. In Aedre's opinion, they were no different than the million out in the world; ones that believed that they were too weak to work against fate. What they forget is that a person can never be fate... So its not even reasonable to walk ahead by saying that they were helpless.
Noticing the looks on their faces, she figured out they were probably thinking the same; concluding themselves as weak or helpless when they hadn't even tried their hand at it yet.
The pinkette's tongue clicked disappointingly, as she let one of her swords graze over the other, letting the metal voice ring in the silent night.
At this very moment, the Guild Master had taken the privilege of his last shuddering breath; at the sound of which a smirk graced the young woman's lips.
"How dare you?!" One exclaimed, setting himself off in Aedre's direction, apparently trying to punch her in the face. As he came quite close to her, she spun on her heels once again, such that she was to his side, with their backs facing each other. Her hand instinctively shot up, as she hit the back of his head with her elbow, one that caused him to stagger forward and almost lose balance. It was quickly followed by a slash to the back with one of Aedre's swords and the man had already tumbled forth onto the ground.
By then, the pinkette's spin had come to an end and she was already facing in his direction and could see him with his face buried in the dust of the ground.
With a single step forward, the woman placed the tip of her sword on the back of his neck, "I dare in the name of duty and I kill due to the same."
A chuckle was heard from his side, causing Aedre's eyebrows to scrunch up worridely, she was a bit dense when it came to humour; even though it probably wasn't even the man's sense of humour, but sarcasm.
The sword pressed deeper into his skin, causing a small trickle of blood to roll down on his pale skin. It shone in the moonlight, just like the blood on the swords that the Slayer held in both her hands. As of now, it was becoming quite evident that the night... would be a bloody one for sure.
"I don---" Aedre had started to say something, but was brought to an abrupt stop when she felt the air warming up slightly, her enhanced senses were really great compared to normal humans; almost feral.
Her pupils dilated for a second, she slowly turned behind, only to feel a warm air current passing inches away from her face, sending a shiver down her spine. There was also a brilliant flash of light that she saw, whizzing past her.
A fireball it was. Conjured by one of the men who were now agitated enough to not let another comrade of his die, while he stood calmly with folded hands.
The fireball had actually moved past Aedre and landed in a nearby shrub, setting it ablaze.
"Improve the aim and I can say that you're worthwhile for a fight." She commented; thought not as a sense of superiority... but actually underestimating her opponents. They just failed to seem like a challenge to her.

Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre Empty Re: Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre

Post by Felicity 2nd May 2014, 4:56 am

Before any of the men could prepare another spell and fling it at her, Aedre decided to end the miserable life that laid trapped in the body infront of her. For some strange reason, she felt sorry and apologetic to it, even though the fact was that she had nothing to do with his strength or ability to fight. Maybe it was because he belonged to a Guild, which ended up as the reason for all this. But why the hell was Aedre worried about it?
Was this senseless killing and torturing taking a slight toll on her state of mind? The answer might have been positive or negative, but atleast, it won't affect the current conditions. Aedre just had to make sure of that.
'Softening a bit, are we?' A voice played inside her head, traced by sarcasm.
'I think you've known me better than that. Afterall, I can't get rid of the feeling that you're quite... analytical.'
A low chuckle resounded, only in the confines of her mind though, as the young woman pressed the blade deeper and deeper into the flesh that had toughened with years of lacking care. The blood trickled down as slowly and painfully as ever and low groans escaped by a flutter of the man's crudely-shaped lips. It was downright torture, nothing else; it was only meant to impose inferiority into the hearts of her enemies.
Time really gave her a lot of experience with this.
A feeling that another spell was being readied behind her back, maybe not one, but several. With a click of her tongue, the pinkette raised one of her feet of the ground.
In the blink of an eye, her leg was being shrouded in an ethereal blue light, that slowly transformed into rippling, clear-blue water.
If someone was to close their eyes and listen calmly, they could have heard the seas and the oceans; even in the unquietness of tonight's air.
The blade was taken back and the at the very same heartbeat, the feet landed on the back of the man. There was a crude shatter of the bones and the man had taken his last breath, for blood filled the inside of his mouth and poured out in substantial quantity. His ribs was what was affected, maybe puntured a lung is what Aedre did, but she turned behind with a practiced flutter of her peachy coat.
She did not have a liking to watch the carnage that she unleashed. Undeniably, the Slayer did have a softer side.
With the usual smirk gracing her lips, she pushed herself forward to the direction of the man that stood to the extreme right.
She charged at the him with a foreswing with one sword, following it with a backswing on the other, the blades as shiny as ever in the moonlight; decorated furthermore with blood.
An arcing shot sliced the skin of the the magus's midsection. It failed to be a crucial hit at the chest by perhaps a couple of centimeters. He staggered. Aedre swung, missing once again, though managing a deep gash on the hardened flesh of his abdomen. He managed a smirk-like expression, maybe at the spryness of his dodge. Aedre had to admit it was impressive, but this time, the sight disappointed her severely.
As if answering to a dilemma in her head, 'You're not rusting, its just a matter of passion.'

Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre Empty Re: Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre

Post by Felicity 2nd May 2014, 10:57 pm

Only a soft nod was issued from Aedre's side, as she dodged a punch that her opponent threw in her direction. Her pupils dilated slightly and the sword was thrust straight into the man's chest, causing blood to spurt out from the wound, as well as his mouth.
With a bit of a grimace on her face, Aedre backstepped and the sword came into contact with fresh air and not the insides of the man. Just as she was about to turn her attention to the four remaining members of Black Lotus, the pinkette felt something wriggling and movement right beneath her feet. Her eyes widened in the realization that something was trying to trap her from below and she turned her vision below.
Coiling around her feet, in an attempt to chain her straight into the ground, there were several snake-like structures of sand that collected in a mass beneath her. It all acted like a sticky bob of gum, trying its very best to keep her attached to the ground.
Aedre tried to move her legs slightly, actually checking out the strength of this trick. She could hear the mad cackle of the men, who seemed to believe that they had caught the Ace of Savage Skull this easily. How instantaneous was the working of the human mind? It simply attached itself to the slightest hope of victory, turning it into an absolute win. As if it wasn't even given sufficient competition. Aedre had begun to understand one thing; the human mind was naive, it only made you look like the best... but its only in your mind. Its an image that is created. It gives nothing but hope.
People say that hope can bring victory, but in Aedre's eyes, it was only half-truth. How can hope help you to victory... especially without efforts from your side.
'Naive.' She concluded, her cold gaze now piercing the very sand that coiled around her legs, her mind working on ways to get out of this mess.
"I'm loving the fact that ya'll are enjoying yourself~" The Slayer stated, as a substantial amount of magic poured out of both her arms, coating both the blades. With a small grin adorning her lips, Aedre started to make small circles in the air; on either side of her.
Starting from the hilt, the teal blade had swirling water whereas the black had some mass of shadow. In a few seconds, the elements coated the respective blades, only to extend out as a thin stream.
"Watch and learn." Aedre spoke, as both the whip-like streams were simultaneously hit onto the sand that clutched at her feet. The grains simply flew in all the directions, leaving a bewildered expression on the men's faces.
Aedre pushed herself straight in their direction, landing a couple of feet infront and using the whips to lash them out half a dozen times.
Not being able to withstand the strength with which the whips hit, it caused the four of them to tumble onto their backs. Seeing the perfect opportunity in this, Aedre brought both the swords close to each other, which caused the whips to expand slightly, enwrap each other beautifully and then converge into a single spiral that shot straight in their direction.
The spell would reflect in the four men's eyes for a second, before it completely obscured their bodies from Aedre's vision. There was an explosion, which, when settled, only revealed the bruised and hurt bodies laying wasted on the ground.

Seeing those bodies, a wave of relief washed over the young woman. She breathed in deeply, noticing how good it actually felt to do so. She had been ignoring the fact that she had a life to live, for herself. After joining the Guild, she had become more ambitious or maybe less ambitious; depending on how one sees it. The only thing that revolved in her head was to get strong; strong enough to defeat any person who stood in her way. But the worst part was the realization that it was an impossible feat. No one is unbeatable, everyone has a weakness, maybe its in the form of a power or a person, but its there. So it were just two vague ideas, that were turning itself her entire life.
    'Strange.'
Several more footsteps echoed around, the hostile levity in the battleground could be felt on one's skin. There was just an unpleasantness in the surroundings today, maybe a result of the turbulent swirl of thoughts inside the pinkette's mind. It was a pervading harshness that hadn't been there before, never existed around her. Or perhaps, she had merely grown used to it, grown to accept her current conditions and state as a world complete in itself, with its own standards and its own great figures, second to nothing because it had no consciousness of being so, and now she was looking at it again, through an entirely new perspective.
It was invariably disappointing to look with a new perspective at things upon which one had expanded their own powers of adjustment.
Perhaps the presence of the eight new men, who had arrived at the scene gave the place a new sense of oppressiveness - cause it'll stand out in Aedre's memory forever, from here on. It was different than the thousand battles she might have fought before, cause never in her life had she really taken a break and thought, about her actions. It was true that she had always felt a swelling pride inside her, not one that made you over-confident, but one that makes you stand out as a confident individual. Someone who can stand on their own two legs and move ahead, no matter how bleak the circumstances looked. The pride was about her ability to take decisions, cause in her opinion, she had never been wrong about anything. Atleast, in the matter of decisions. Those were good enough to turn the odds to her favor, even though the wish was the weakest of its kind.
She was thinking a lot of her past in this very moment, just trying to recover something, some idea of herself, the one that had gone into the crucial moments of decision making. Her life was confused and disordered from ever since she could remember and to be honest, she had no belief that it would ever settle down. But, the Slayer knew that if she could return to a certain starting point and go over all of this slowly, she could find what the thing was...
"There's a lot of you out here... right?"

She could see them now, eight silhouettes, their bodies outlined by the light that poured out of a nearby street lamp that was placed just behind them. The pinkette had a fair idea that she was outnumbered and no matter how much she overpowered them; if they worked as a team they'll be pesky to deal with.
Her pupils dilated slightly, taking a deep breath to calm her nerves and get some better thinking into her head. Her fingers held the handle of both the swords tighter, en-wrapping it securely, thus making her reign and control over it. The Slayer crouched slightly, glancing at all her enemies, only sizing them up, before she shot in one of their directions. This was probably a bad idea, considering that attacking one left her vulnerable from all sides, but it was the only one that ensured success of any kind.
Besides, she had better plans in her mind.
Reaching right next to one of the men, Aedre sent a downward slice of one of her swords, aimed at one side of his shoulder. But with some lightning-fast reflexes, the man had reacted and Aedre's blade only met metal; another sword.
    'ReQuip, huh?'
With some quick thinking on her part, the pinkette's sword dived ahead, while the second started in a wide slice, then rushed suddenly down towards the man's side. But he was not one to lose so easily, it seemed, as his skill over weaponry was at its epitome. Matching up to the Slayer's speed, the man came down with one scimitar to parry the first attack and sliced across with the other to foil the second.
A sort of desperateness climbed into her mind as she had a furry of blows from the ReQuipper's side and she had to work frantically to keep them at bay, but then she saw a small gap and aimed a backhand that managed to sweep both the scimitar's out on the same side.
Aedre's other sword followed closely, a cut aimed straight at the man's heart, one that he just couldn't block.
Once again, the blade met blood, leaving nothing but a limp, lifeless body on the ground as soon as the blade was retracted back in her direction.
However, Aedre's moment of victory was stolen from her, though, by the instincts of another man. She sprang to the side ahead of another plunging blade, then twisted and ducked under the new ReQuipper's deadly cut. The sword nicked her under the jawbone, leaving a painful gash. When she completed her roll and found her footing despite cobbled pavement, she showed no sign of acknowledging the injury. The young woman was extremely agile by the body, all thanks to her magic and people who had seen her before in a battle will always remember that for their own good.

Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre Empty Re: Freedom Is A Myth | Job | Solo | Aedre

Post by Felicity 7th May 2014, 5:56 am

A twang! of a string was to be heard, subtle, yet very audible to the delicate Slayer hearing. For a second, Aedre considered that one of her opponents might be using a bow and an arrow as their choice of weapon, cause she could definitely distinguish that sound from a million others; no matter how similar.
Her sense were only sharpened further when she got incredibly aware of her actions, wanting to keep an eye and an ear out for a swishing arrow. At the same time, her two swords were swirling in a descending, crisscrossing pattern, trying to attack the man in front of her with perfectly measured strikes. Her eyes remained beyond him though, at all of his companions.
To Aedre, her fighting with this new batch of men had taken long, but in actual timing, it was only two dozen seconds or so. The other men were still to cautious and fearing to take a step forward and begin an attack.
Co-ordination. That's what they lacked in a serious amount.
    The well-feared swoosh.
Blue hues instinctively tightened and dilated a bit. She was expecting a pierce right through her body, a cold and merciless shiver had performed a dance on her spine.
A quick gasp, followed by a groan and a soft, muffled thud.
Aedre's eyes shot in the direction of these strange chain of sounds and this time, bewilderment was etched onto her features.
Right there on the ground, laid on of the members of Black Lotus, as an arrow had pierced through his chest from the backside, while red blood oozed out and seeped through the thick layers of clothing on his cruel body.
A few feet away from the remaining men, stood another silhouette, one that lacked even the slightest kind of typical effiminity. The body could take care of extreme leverage for sure, the muscles rippled out of the arms something like a plumage jutted out on top of the head. The most noticeable feature were a pair of wings that stuck out of its back.
    'What in the world...'
"I do so love to watch you fight," Orel's voice spoke, sounding as if there must be a smug smile adorning his face, "But I cannot take the chance that you will be slain - not yet."
The voice's source was the new arrival in this battlefield, the one who wielded the bow and had killed on of Aedre's enemies. Well, wasn't this a strange twist in the events that are transpiring?
'I see that you're confused... Yes, this is me.' This time, the voice was right inside her head.
'What kind of games are you playing?'
A chuckle resounded and, as if on cue, the figure before Aedre would actually step into a proper spot of light, so that it would reveal one of the strangest scenes that the pinkette has ever encountered.
In front of her stood nothing less than a beast. Along with the silhouette's features she could see the greenish tinge on the skin, the battle scars and the face that resembled an eagle's; something that came along with a sharp beak instead of a mouth and claws instead of hands.
What kind of a monster had she got to accompany her?

She had to adjust, that was the only conclusion the woman came up with, as she noticed that the men around her were also busy staring at the beast that now stood in front of them. It wouldn't be too much to say that Aedre wasn't the only one left surprised, for even in the world of magic, such forms and creatures are a wonderful and fascinating sight to behold.
It was in the wake of this moment, that the pinkette realized the hidden... or not so hidden meaning in her fake client's words. She had really believed that there could be absolutely nothing more or special in the avian back then. She had believed only in the outer appearance and it had been extremely deceptive.
With a slight grimace on her features, the young woman readied her swords once again, as she tried to slash the torso of her opponent, while he was still eyeing Orel's all new form.
"I guess I should join this fight then!" The eagle stated, as she burst forward in the direction of the other five. He was gliding smoothly through the air, as if trying to shed the wind into pieces; all with the help of two massive wings that jutted out of his back.
Just when he set foot before them, one of the men crouched down and leaped in. The eagle planted his foot, and delivered a massive haymaker to his face and as he began to open his mouth to say something, the avian had already sent tumbling backward and away from him. Another came in as Orel stepped to the right and delivered a shattering right hook to the side of his face, as he heard the man groan and fly off to the left.
The bird then leaped forward in a single frontflip, and extended his leg into a stomp kick. Crushing right through one of the Black Lotus members, as he turned and batted another two, catching them in double open knuckle backhand as he spun and extended both his arms.
Orel then back pedaled away, dodging the men who were now back on their feet after those massive combo hits from the beast's side. The men were now starting to show signs of real trouble, because of Orel so easily ripping through their defenses and even causing some serious bruises due to his immense physical strength. For a split second, the men might have promised themselves that they weren't dumb enough to be beaten by some eagle-like beast; thus making sure to try their very best at defeating him.
Thus, another Black Lotus member jumped in, as Orel performed a hopping step kick into his lower jaw, causing him to stare straight into the night sky due to the shock; by then, he planted and stepped forward, thus delivering a close, earth shattering punch to the man's exposed stomach and thus causing him to fall straight onto the ground.
