~The History Arc~
Hikari grew up in east Magnolia with her mom and dad. She had a happy childhood for the most part. Hikari was a beautiful girl, she had long, scarlet hair like her mother and her father's nose. They would often take trips to the Rose Garden in Bellum. However, when Hikari was only 10 years old, Hikari's father lost his job working for Sorcerer Weekly and fell into debt. While Hikari's mother, who was always frail and sick got worse. Eventually Hikari's father had an affair then left the two of them with his debt and ran off with his new lover. Hikari couldn't believe her own father would do such a thing to them. Hikari ended up hating her father with every fiber of her being and her absolute hatred of her father caused her to hate ALL men. Now, Hikari and her mother were left to pay off her father's huge debt. Seeing as her mother was too sick and frail to work, Hikari decided she would work to pay off the debt, but being only seven years old, she had an extremely tough time finding work. No place would hire her because she was just too young. She tried everywhere in all of magnolia to get hired. A year passed by and she still couldn't get a job. Then, a letter arrived at their home in east magnolia, it had no return address, but it was addressed to Hikari and her mother. When Hikari opened the envelope, it was filled with a bunch of jewels and a letter from Hikari's father. When she knew it was him who sent the letter, she tore it up in rage. However, the jewels were a different story, she could use them to pay off part of the debt her father left them with. With part of the debt now payed, Hikari resumed her job hunt. However, she still had no luck. Years went by, then finally when Hikari turned 13, she found a job. She worked as waitress in a local cafe.
