Magic
Primary Magic: Calculatory Rune Magic
Secondary Magic:
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description:
Calculatory Rune Magic is a special form of Rune Magic which relies solely on mathematical runes. These runes become more and more complex as their effects become stronger, so they will naturally have longer casting times as they increase in strength (with few exceptions.) Being comprised solely of mathematical runes means that the magic is more complex in nature and therefore more difficult to cast than other rune magics as it increases in rank.
Alistair uses his calculatory rune magic to increase the abilities of himself, his allies, and their weapons. He also uses it to decrease the abilities of his foes and their weapons. He uses this supportive magic to augment his physical abilities and weapon skills, as well as making his enemies weaker and also augmenting his ally's magical and physical abilities.
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Abilities/Powers:
Rune Literacy: Able to read runes, so Alistair can understand the effect of a rune-based spell at or below his own rank when it is cast.
Rune Transcription: Alistair has the ability to rewrite runes in addition to being able to read them, so he can also nullify rune-based spells at or below his rank that take more than one post to cast, but it takes the same amount of his magic as it did for the caster to cast the rune spell.
