Kurai is a very quiet and reserved person when she is around people. She doesn’t want anyone to really know what she is thinking. This way they have idea what she is planning, or what she actually knows or understands. From being raised by a woman who was chased from her home for being a witch she tends to have a more cynical view of the world. She believes that people without magic should bow to people with magic simply because they are weaker. She believes that no magic is truly superior to another as the magi using them are vastly different. It is the mage that makes the magic not the other way around. Kurai’s primary opinion is that women should always strive for beauty or perfection. This is because she believes a woman’s beauty to be her greatest asset and trait. She strives to keep herself looking beautiful, clean, and womanly taking great pride in her appearance. If something is wrong with her appearance she goes out of her way to either fix it or cover it up even if she must put off a mission in order to make sure that she looks the best she possibly can. If she thinks she knows a way to improve someone else’s appearance she won’t hesitate to tell them as such even pointing out flaws with how they look. Kurai makes friends when she has to, but she is not by any means close to her friends.
In Battle:
When Kurai engages in combat she fights with a very reserved style making sure that she doesn’t lose her head, or be goaded by any petty attempt to make her angry. Of course there are ways to get at her if one were to damage her appearance, or make her look bad in any way she will go ballistic and do everything in her power to kill her opponent. Beyond that she fights very strategically, and will not risk putting herself in a situation that is unfavorable for her. If she is fighting with a teammate or another person she will make sure that they are up to her standards of general appearance. If they aren’t then she will refuse to give them aid in a mission unless it affects her own success. Still it will be very reluctantly, and possibly even too late most of the time. If she chooses to serve under someone they must be stronger than her physically, mentally, and their skill with their magic must be greater than her skill with her own magic. The last and most important thing to her is that whoever she serves must also meet her meticulous standards in general appearance. If the person she serves has all of these traits than she will serve without question, and obediently. If the one she serves fails in even one of these categories she will still serve, but not very obediently, and not without question. She will also be trying to think of how she can become better than them, and make them serve her.

* Beauty Eternal: Kurai’s main goal is to be beautiful forever finding true beauty should last the ages.
* Power: Kurai wishes to be the most powerful Mage in her school of magic over all others.
* Rule: Despite her hatred for mortals she still views them as having a purpose and that purpose is to serve people with magic. So she wants to rule over them.
Fears:
* Being Ugly: She is terrified of becoming ugly in any way.
* Powerless: Her greatest fear is losing her magic and becoming mortal. If this were to happen she’d end her life without a second thought.
* Dying: She views death as a very ugly thing, and people who die are ugly as they aren’t able to fix their decaying bodies. She fears death because it will mean she can never be beautiful ever again.
General Appearance

Physical:
Head- Her hair reaches down to the small of her back and is a silver white color making her look enchanting. Her blue eyes are piercing and it’s almost as if she can see into your soul if she stares you in the eyes long enough. Her mouth although it looks small she doesn’t mind, and she wears only red, or purple lipstick to make her lips stand out.
Torso- Kurai has a wonderful hourglass figure as her bust is a D cup size her waist being extremely tiny. Her skin is soft and smooth to the touch almost like a feather or a delicate flower. Her hands are long and spidery almost like a piano or a flue players hands with rather small fingers usually painted purple or black.
Legs- Her legs are average length, but they are spindly and remind people of dancers’ legs. They have muscle in the right places, but once more they are also soft and smooth. Her feet are small, but show signs of being a ballerina or a gymnast. Her toenails are rarely painted, as they are rarely shown. If they are they match her fingernails.

Clothing:
Head- Her widow’s peak is accented by a golden ornament that keeps her hair from her face. Around her neck she wears a long necklace made of green jade beads a memento from her mother.
Torso- Kurai looks like a traditional priestess from ancient Japan. She wears a light blue kimono under a deep blue, or deep purple Haori Jacket that reaches down to her knees with long flowing sleeves that cover her hands. Her Haori is held together by red ties, and coming across her shoulders is a red tassel.
Legs- Over her legs she wears deep gray hakama that reach down covering her feet and brushing the ground. She wears a purple oobi to keep her Hakama up and in place so she doesn’t have to worry about it.
Feet- She wears Tabi socks that go up to her shins and cover her feet. For shoes she wears hard soled slippers to allow her for flexibility and freedom of movement while giving her the walking support she needs.
