General Information
Name: Irene Sanne-Léa Winters
Gender: Female
Age: 13
Birthday: 04/30
Sexuality: N/A. She's too young. (But probably pansexual)
Special Characteristics: A pair of black butterfly wings, with pink sections (my current avatar shows chibi versions of the wings).
General Personality
Personality: Irene is an extremely religious person, and follows a set of rules assigned to all members of the religion, as well as worshiping the twelve goddesses. Her attitude towards other religions and seeing them be expressed, is tolerant, but only because the set of rules dictates that she should respect non-believers. Nonetheless, Irene refuses to tolerate others who badmouth her religion, and reacts quite violently if that kind of action persists around her or anywhere within earshot. Actually, if she ends up hearing it on the grapevine, anyone involved will be in hot water with Irene. The girl has a patron goddess, like all followers of the religion, who is named Ciardre. She is the second in command among the goddesses, and represents order, darkness, and faith. Her symbol is the butterfly.
Irene is typically friendly towards most people, but holds a slight disdain for those that are obsessed with a certain person or thing in their life. For example, she hates fangirls and couples that are constantly lovey-dovey. Irene is a very free spirit type of person in general, and will sometimes refuse to do something just because she doesn't want to. Although Irene can't be called a tsundere because she is usually outgoing and bright to most people, she has rather volatile emotions and will quickly turn either violent, angry, or both, etc. She takes a very straightforward approach to most things, but depending on her mood occasionally likes to play around and dodge the truths of things. Irene may not be unwelcoming to strangers, but she does prefer to stay with people she already knows-- however, that being said, she has no problems introducing herself to other people, even though she would prefer that they come to her. Irene occasionally assumes an uncaring attitude towards her friends, but doesn't mind admitting when another person is important to her. However, she is not a patient person and refuses to wait for people to catch up to her in any way-- either skill-wise, when absorbing information, when physically moving around, etc. Irene can sometimes have loyalty issues, and will abandon her friends, acting flighty in times of danger even if she cares about them. This too, the girl will admit freely and often without shame.
In battle, Irene usually takes a damage approach and typically will refuse to play a support role unless forced. She follows orders for as long as they suit her needs as well, and will openly express the fact that she must be motivated to do something, and will not be able to follow commands given if they clash with her personal beliefs. Irene is a good, or at least a decent leader, since she is accurate in gauging a person's battle worth simply by appearance, prior actions and observing them, information and knowledge that both she and the person have, their ability to understand orders, etc. as well as pure instinct of who is reliable and who is not. She has a very poor sense of direction, but also possesses a knack for ending up in the place where she needs to be most-- basically, luck favors her greatly. When fighting other people, Irene might or might not aim to kill, depending on her mood. The times she will definitely kill them includes if they meet one of the following requirements: they are completely wasting her time and killing is the fastest way to end the battle/encounter, or if they have annoyed her in some other way. Irene tends to be unpredictable.
Likes:
- Butterflies: Being that the butterfly is her patron goddess's sacred creature, Irene respects butterflies very much. She finds beauty in their delicacy, but also their strength and stubbornness, able to break their chrysalis themselves as a test of their will and physical power.
- Being Active: Irene isn't the kind of person who will just curl up with a good book and stay inside all day. She wants to be moving around, or talking with people.
- Animals: Irene has a great deal of respect for all animals, some what due to the fact that she owns a dog and a cat at home, and has ridden horses in the past.
- All Weather: Whether it's stormy or sunny, Irene loves to be outdoors. She doesn't mind the rain, nor the burning sun, and doesn't get burnt easily.
Dislikes:
- Jewelry: Irene dislikes jewelry in general. The only kind that she might wear are earrings, and then only studs.
- The Color Pink: This one is self-explanatory. Irene dislikes the color pink, in any shade-- it seems much too bland and happy-go-lucky for her.
- Swearing: Although Irene has an easily ignited personality, she makes it a point to never swear and dislikes it, especially when the words are involving religion.
- Being Judged: Irene tries her best to keep an open mind when it comes to other people, and dislikes being told what she should and shouldn't do. When it comes to her own preferences, she'll simply say something like, "I don't like swearing, stop." instead of saying, "You shouldn't use that word." The girl was lectured very much on self-respect and what she can and cannot do without having no self respect, as a child, before she joined her religious community.
Motivations:
- Having Fun/Amusing Herself: Irene loves to have fun, and does what she wants to do so. She'll make a side effort not to step all over other people's dreams, but is mostly focused on her own.
- Finding Ciardre: Irene's patron goddess disappeared from the spirit world a few years ago, which prompted the girl to leave her religious society on a quest to discover what happened to Ciardre-- additionally, if possible she wants to bring her back to the spirit world, if willing.
- Adventure: Irene loves to climb to new places and plunge into battle with new people. She might cause a ruckus just because she likes to be the center of attention and targeted-- it's all so exciting!
Fears:
- Claustrophobia: Irene has a fear of tightly enclosed spaces. This includes small rooms with no windows, closets, some types of transportation vehicles, etc. Additionally, since Irene loves to fly and be out in the wide, open spaces, the extreme difference between there and in a claustrophobic space is increased.
- Anatidaephobia: Irene has a tremendous fear of ducks, which may sound rather silly, but she avoids them at all costs. The girl would rather walk into a fire and burn alive than try to face down a duck or be forced to.
- Taphophobia: In general, Irene is afraid of being underground because she has claustrophobia. However, she also has taphobophia, which is the fear of being buried alive. There has been an instance in the past when Irene fell into a hole and was trapped under mounds of dirt, and no one knew where she was-- it was a frightening experience, and cannot be easily forgotten.
General Appearance
Height: 159 centimeters
Weight: 48 kilograms
Hair: Extremely long black hair, which falls past her hips-- Irene also has bangs that are tapered at the end
Eyes: Reddish-orange, depending on the light
Skin Tone: Fair, with an occasional slight blush over the cheeks. No freckles or beauty marks, etc. Does not tan whatsoever, doesn't become sunburned unless there are very extreme amounts of sunlight.
Appearance: Irene has a slim physique and seems to be a delicate and intelligent person, just going by how she looks. Her mouth can often be set into a smile, but her eyes are typically either narrowed or open in an innocent look. Irene typically wears the color black when not wearing her special dress, and is dressed very properly-- such as more formal clothes, like a dress or blouse and nice slacks. Irene's wings are not always visible, and materialize whenever she wills them into existence. Despite the fact that she has no problems wearing other clothes, the girl typically wears a special dress, which was given to her by her patron goddess and is extremely important to her. (The girl who is modeling the dress looks nothing like Irene).
Guild/Council
Guild: Guildless (For now, at least).
Tattoo: On the right-front side of her stomach, black in color.
