Job Title: King of Fighters
Rank: S
Player Requirements: Two wizards maximum. This can only be taken by A and S rank wizards.
Job Requirements: The person must pass to at least the quarter finals of the tournament to get a reward and must win in order to get the full reward. The word count on the mission is dependant on the number of posts. 20 posts total: 1000 words, 30 posts total: 800 words, 40 posts 500 words, 50 posts or more 300 words.
Job Location: Sphere Island
Job Description: 'Hello i'm a bit short on money and there is this tournament you see. You bet on a fighter, or group of fighters and get money based on how far they get. The further they get the bigger the payout. Plus the odds change depending on how favoured the contestant is. Relative unknowns like yourself should get excellent odds and i'll split the winnings with you 50/50. If you win you get a big prize too. There are seven rounds Unless you get to the fifth round, which is the quarter finals there is no pay out. Not all of the fighters are human or even humanoid though. Its a great tournament and its hosted beneath the ground at Sphere Island. So you up for it?'
Enemies:
Unlike most missions the monster dice will not be rolled to determine your opponent by themselves. No, that would not work for a tournament such as this. So here is how it will work.
If you are solo then each time a round starts(so at the beginning, or after you beat your opponent), roll a single monster dice plus a normal dice. If you are in a team then roll two of each dice. The only exception to this is the final round. You do not roll a dice for this. The enemy will always be the same. With the exception of the final boss none of the opponents will have set attacks or fighting styles or anything of that nature. How they fight is up to you. All you get is a picture.
As you can see i'm not giving you an amount of hits to do. Be reasonable though. You aren't one shotting these guys unless you rp it extremely well. Even the weak ones are highly skilled.

- final boss:
This guy is so good, none of the godly fighters have beaten him. None of them have even succedding in breaking his armor. He is going to take one hell of a beating. Even if you get a lucky shot this guy is not going down easily.- Armored:
- unarmored:
This opponent as mentioned is insanely strong and mostly fights with pure physicality. However, if his hand is forced he will use insanely powerful heat magic. He is an S rank mage who specialises in fighting other mages. He is the favourite and has remained undefeated for 10 years. He is skilled and has high enough magic power that all of his spells have a three post cooldown.- spells:
Thermal Disinfection: Uses intense heat to destroy any poison introduced to him. This is done automatically one post after poison occurs.
Heat Aura: He surrounds himself with an aura of intense heat for three posts. This is A rank in power and will burn anything that comes within 5ft of him.
Burning Aura: A strong version of the heat aura. This increases the strength of the heat to S rank. Its range is 5ft like the heat aura. This also lasts three posts
Scorching Aura: The strongest version of the heat aura. This is equal in power to the burning aura, but the range is increased to 10ft and it lasts four posts.
Heat shield: A wall of heat that is A rank in strength and able to block two A rank attacks. This lasts two posts or until destroyed.
- weapon:
Burner Blade: A 4ft long straight sword that is legendary in quality. It is his weapon of choice once his armor is broken. This enables him to use powerful offensive spells.
Heat Blast: The user swings the sword and generates an intense blast of heat that is S rank in strength and has a range of 20ft.
Heat Spear; The user thrusts the sword at a target sending a 'blade' of hot air towards them that is almost solid due to the density of the air. This is an S rank spell.
Heat whirlwind: An advanced version of the heat shield technique where the user spins generating an all around whirlwind of heat that works as an S rank shield and is able to block two S rank attacks or equivalent. This however only lasts a single post.
As you can see i'm not giving you an amount of hits to do. Be reasonable though. You aren't one shotting these guys unless you rp it extremely well. Even the weak ones are highly skilled.

- Jewellery of Champions:
A piece of jewellery whose form is decided by the user before receiving. This piece of jewellery is one of the legendary magical items and the first of its abilities provides a 20% boost to all physical stats. However, its effect is active and lasts only five posts. It does stack with other boosts though. Its second ability is determined by the person who wears it.
