    Job: Bad Neighbor!
    Rank: D
Player Requirements: Minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 mages, 10 post minimum, 150 words each.
Job Requirements: At least one D rank mage, investigate the situation and depending on the circumstances either evict them or hand them over to the proper authorities.
    Job Description:
It’s been two weeks now and Oliver Heilstein hasn't had any sleep for that time. The problem is his new next-door neighbors. Every single night odd chanting and screams are to be heard from the other house and no one knows why. He tried to complain once and went over to the other house… a man dressed in a black robe answered the door and so the client just turned around and left. Apparently he thought he saw the other man covered in stains of blood and there were odd markings on the walls that the client could see. Now Mister Heilstein is too afraid to even leave his home or sleep, fearing his neighbors may do something; he fears that they are involved in the occult.
    Job Location: Magnolia Town
    Enemies:
Novice Satanist – These guys can’t do much; just ordinary people messing with the occult using fake books of the occult.
    Reward: 1,250 jewels

    ________________________

Priscilla stood outside of the home that belonged to a Mr. Oliver Heilstein. According to the job notice she held in her hands, this man was suspicious of his neighbors and wouldn't even leave his house because of them. "A bit of an odd assumption if you ask me. But we'll find out soon enough." she said as she turned towards her partner. She had met this man, Nikolai, when they both tried to grab the same job notice at once. A small argument was had, and then they came to the agreement of sharing the job and splitting the reward.

"What do you think about all of this?" she asked as she knocked on the door and waited for an answer. The two stood on the doorstep outside of a moderately sized, red house neighboring one of similar size and shape. They were waiting for the client to come answer the door, with Priscilla standing with her hands in her pocket, wishing she could be sleeping somewhere else. But Nikolai didn't know that, she kept it to herself.

Dixon replied, "This should be a cakewalk, at least for me. Word on the paper is that the house owner has been participating in some voodoo.....wiccan....fake sorcery crap. Apparently Hellstein won't leave his damn house because that 'creeper' has been hanging around and doing some weird stuff. We could just scare him into leaving the neighborhood. Or, we could just throw his ass in jail. And there's the idea of killing him right there. I have no intention of catching blood on my hands today. The little whinger has two D-Rank mages go do the kind of stuff he could do himself. Whatever."

Dixon was in no way happy to have to split the reward money like that. The whole reason he took up this mission is to buy something from a good friend. 500 Jewels it cost. Yet Dixon wanted the extra money to save up and buy other crap. Also, he had never seen how this girl fights so it bothered him. "What kind of magicks does she use.....What elements......Fighting style..." was what he was thinking at the moment. "Time to gear up."

"Hmm... We will see why he's afraid of them soon enough. Or maybe not." Priscilla mumbled as she looked back to the door, still waiting for the man to open it. They had been standing here knocking for almost five minutes now, and there still was no answer. "Is he too scared to come out?" she asked aloud, turning slightly away from the door as she shook her head. "I guess we just go then, he does not seem to want to answer the door." she said as she turned around and began to walk away, but was stopped by the sounds of several locks and chains coming from behind the door. "Oh, 'bout damn time." she muttered as she turned back around, shaking her head and waiting for the man to open the door. He was just stalling at this point, she was sure. He must have been THAT paranoid. "Oh joy..."

((OOC: Could you take control of the NPC man guy thing? I assume he's all timid and shy and afraid of his own shadow, that's what I'm getting from it anyways))

"Let's cut to the chase, mmkay? I got a report from a Mr. Oliver Hellstein that you have been terrorizing him. It says here that he's afraid to leave his home now because one of his neighbors(you) has been engaging in so-called occult sorcery. Now, we came over to tell you to suspend this "sorcery". Seriously, stop. It's either this or we throw you out." Dixon looked beyond the suspicious man to see wicked images on the wall. There were also stains of blood everywhere. "I'm giving you a chance to stop this bullcrap. If you don't then we'll be forced to evict you from the residence." Dixon peered again to see even more disgusting images. "Should I really leave this guy alone? It's a good chance that he won't stop. I could just throw him out right there."

Dixon failed to anticipate that he would be getting into a fight sooner or later.

Priscilla watched Nikolai converse with the man as she stood just a few feet behind him, letting him do most of the talking. She made sure to look around them, checking to see if there were any other friends of this guy stalking around the place. Nope, no one. "This guy is either alone, or his allies are inside with him somewhere." Priscilla noted, making sure she was at least doing something to contribute.

The man didn't seem to really react to the two standing at his door. He blinked a few times, before shutting and locking his door again. Shortly afterwards, the sounds of chanting and a faint glow could be seen from the windows.

"Oh..." the girl said as she pinched the bridge of her nose. "I guess we break in then? There is not much of a choice." Priscilla looked at the door, analyzing it's features and deducing that...

"He could at least have a decent door to keep us out. This thing is just made of wood. It's like he does not care if we actually break in or not. He does know we're going to break in, right?"

"Well, I guess he isn't gonna go down easy, isn't he?" Nikolai asked himself. He then felt the door. "Wood. He slams a wooden door on us. He'd at least use aluminum. I could just charge this, and it would shatter into a million pieces or so. Most people would rather try to fight a Cthulhu than to do this and expect to get away." Nikolai almost immediatly kicked the door, shattering it and providing a passageway to the house. "Where is this guy?" He asked himself once more. He saw the pictures of disgusting things on the walls and floors. There might've been a magic seal where he was standing, but Nikolai didn't know that. "Considering that he just slammed the door in my face, I might as well throw his ass out. It seems like there's going to be no reasoning with this guy, and he might lunge at us with some sort of magic. Also, that Hellstein character was probably counting on us to throw him out, so I might as well do it."

Nikolai took a deep breath and remained calm throughout. He knew he was going to get in a fight, one way or another.

Priscilla entered the room just behind Nikolai, looking around the room as he did. "Yeah, I don't think we have a choice other than throw this guy out." she said as she walked around the room. There were at least 5 other guys all of which had stopped their chanting and were staring at the two who had interrupted their rituals.

"Hey Nikolai." she said over shoulder, keeping her eyes on the satanists. "There's more than just the one guy. What do you wanna do about them?" asked the girl. They slowly moved to form an arc around the two wizards, which made Priscilla sigh in annoyance. Yep. Fighting time."

Priscilla walked back so she was just a step away from Nikolai as she analyzed the so called "satanists" in front of them. Did they even know magic? They certainly didn't look like they did. Best not to judge a book by it's cover. Still, these guys didn't look threatening at all.

"I could just hold a fireball to their throats, mabye that'll work. Or, torch the entire house! Whatever. I have an idea," Nikolai whispered. "I'll take down this 5-pack of losers, and you find the source of all this mayhem. That should be so hard for you, shouldn't it? And when I have the punks all tied down and such, we throw their asses out as a whole. That way, we don't have to keep wasting our time on this crap. Mmkay?"

As soon as the word left Nikolai's mouth, he ran over to the "satanists". He kicked one in the face, disrupting their assembly. After that, he managed to tackle another one before the first downed satanist did a sweep, tripping Nikolai over. As he fell with a thud, the ghostly figures met him with a flurry of kicks. Each one being more painful than the other, Nikolai cringed in pain, and that's when it hit him! A swift kick to the forehead gave him an idea. "Set fire to their feet, and they cannot stand to fight!" He thought.

Priscilla frowned and walked over to where Nikolai was getting beaten on. "Wow." was all she muttered before they were all flung to a wall, impacting forcefully as 5 tentacles of shadows struck them in the chest. The impact was enough to fling them all across the room as she stood over Nikolai, not actually looking at him. Without a word, she walked down to the basement where she found one last satanist.

"You're too late! I've already-" he was cut off by five shadow tendrils hitting him in the stomach simultaneously with the power of a pretty strong punch. He only crumpled to the ground, where Priscilla proceeded to pick him up and bring him back upstairs to kick out.

"Are we literally just kicking them out of their own home or are we calling the police?" she asked, looking over to wherever it was that Nikolai may be. Hopefully he wasn't on the floor getting beaten this time.

"I'll have you know that I didn't feel a single ounce of pain during that ass whupping. If I had known you were going to use those appendages to finish this, I would've left all the work to you. Whatever. It's done now. So, what should we do with this guy, just throw him on his way, or throw him jail faster than a horse race on ice?" Nikolai rubbed his hands together and smiled. "The payday is here, now I won't be living in complete poverty! Not like I was anyway, I got a free apartment and such. This 625 Jewels is going to good use, somewhere. I really don't know what I'm going to do with it though. I should really get a job as a hostage negotiator or something like that." Nikolai said. "I have to hand it to you kid, you did good with those shadow appendages of yours. I really hope we can do another job together soon."

Priscilla nodded at the man, smiling as she said, "Yes, we should do something like this again soon." she said before heading to the door, Nikolai in tow.

They talked to their client, received the pay and were soon going on their separate ways. Priscilla was on her way back to the guild hall and Nikolai... Well, he was going elsewhere. Or maybe he was just taking a different path. She didn't know, she just left him to his own business. "Didn't get many jewels, but it was something to burn time." she mumbled to herself as she entered the guild hall after about an hour of travel on foot. The moment she got back, she found herself a nice, shadowy corner and slipped inside the shadows so she couldn't be seen or bothered while she was sleeping for once. Nikolai crossed her mind once or twice before she fell asleep, but she didn't think about him much. Just passing thoughts. It didn't take her too long to fall into a deep sleep, blocking out any sound as she closed her eyes and let her consciousness fade into the dormant state known as slumber.
